Frodo, Yellow, MinaQ, etc - thanks!!!

I too can't believe they are STILL discussing the whole 4yr BF thing - most of them said it had been done to death countless times before - ah well!

I don't normally advertise my man's bits for the very reason you stated Yellow - once you're rumbled, all Hell can break loose for some reason! I think I come to represent ALL men. The very thought of it ;)

Afternoon all, so jelous of your purchases guys, all i can do is wash the stuff i bought ages and ages ago....i'm bored! YF have you got cravings for sponges too? I posted mine ages ago but then lost the thread to see if anyone thought i was crazy (and too embarrassed to come back on!) Did finally confess to my friend who said she craved new carpet??
Just thinking of sponges makes my mouth water but now moved on to j-cloths and any other cleaning product!

Eeny and Sal the thought of that thread upsetting you so much has put me off even looking at it, i hope other people reading it just think..shit stirrers and don't get further involved...

I'm in Wakefield-Yorkshire by the way and i've also been telling everyone my due date incorrectly for 8 months, i'm actually due on the 13/08 with a boy (Joe)

I had no idea that they catheterised you for an epidural ... sheesh, I must have been REALLY out of it (well I was, just ask DH, but I won't bore you with gory details now!!!!)

jan - am also useless with most pain, whinge my way through pregnancy, not able to cope with the aches and pains but when it came down to the actuaul labour last time i was fine, didn't even need pain relief! and as MIAQ said, if thats not the case with you theres always the epidural! you'll be amazed at how quickly you forget the pain too... i was still in the labour ward when i started thinking 'hey, i wouldn't mind another!'

Report
lunavix · 13/07/2006 13:23

Tbh by the time I had my epidural the pain was such that the catheter REALLY did not bother me. Plus as the words 'emergency caesarean' had started to fly around I realised I'd probably end up with one anyways.

What I'd be more worried about with an epidural (but do bear in mind this is coming from someone who would have one again!) is that you had an increased risk of needing an episiotomy. Which, unlike the catheter, will still hurt days after giving birth...

lol at penis finger!

I can't believe how long that thread is either, however I posted on it, and now I'm being criticized by a number of people for an affectionate term dh and I use! I really do think they have no better use of time.
