Have wanted to see that for ages Lyra

LyraSilvertongue · 25/09/2013 15:09

Fox, the fact that they could do what they wanted seemed to turn people amoral. Quite scary. Jolls, watch it tonight. You should be able to stream it online, like we did.

Jolleigh · 25/09/2013 15:09

People definitely would Fox...would be 50% of people guarding their TVs and the other 50% trying to steal a better TV lol. I know there are things I'd do if they weren't highly illegal...like taking a wrecking ball to some bloody ugly buildings. Nick a brand new car from a dealer maybe?

BadlyWrittenPoem · 25/09/2013 15:10

pram I hope you get the house. congratulations on the house! (Also, is it just me or is the "fully fitted" kitchen missing a couple of drawers? If it is, it might be worth flagging it up beforehand.)

gawjus, how annoying - I hope they're giving you something extra or a partial refund to make up for the inconvenience and disappointment.

Fox even if your blood was fine a few weeks ago for iron, it's worth getting it checked as it can drop dramatically. Last pregnancy mine was 12.5 at 13 weeks and had dropped to 10.6 by 20 weeks. Also, always make sure you check what your results are as my GP was on holiday when mine came back and whoever got the results put it down as no further action needed. As I'd checked the actual result (and was pretty debilitated by the anaemia) I made an appointment and my GP agreed with me that someone had made a mistake.

Shock at £3000 rent PCM - twenty months of that is the entire purchase cost of our house!

HotCrossPun · 25/09/2013 15:12

As you wish mummy Grin It isn't until part 2 that she gives birth, but it's worth watching all the way through if you have a spare 20mins!

I googled them afterwards and they live in a lighthouse.

Jolleigh · 25/09/2013 15:16

HotCross - it sounds hilarious...am I brave enough? ?Wink

Jolleigh · 25/09/2013 15:18

Lyra - I intend to go out for a swanky meal then get shagged until I can barely stand. If there's time after, I'll definitely watch it Wink

FoxMulder · 25/09/2013 15:20

Lyra who did you stream it from? I've been trying to find a place I can stream movies on a PAYG basis rather than getting a subscription.

Jol I don't think I'd have the nerve to nick a car! Maybe if it was the norm and you lived in a place where everyone knicked everything I would, but in that situation, they'd probably lock up their cars.

Badly I'll mention it to the midwife at my 16 week check, but I don't think I'd have much luck going to the GP and saying 'I'm knackered' without him saying 'of course you are, you're pregnant' Smile

HotCrossPun · 25/09/2013 15:21

Defintely Jolls! It's not that gory. It's just funny seeing somebody who is probably normally really zen-like freak out and demand that her husband holds toilet roll against her arse hole!

LyraSilvertongue · 25/09/2013 15:22

That sounds like more fun, Jolls Wink

In the film, it was pretty much a case of rich people locking down their homes during The Purge with their fancy security systems while the poor, homeless, sick, disabled were at the mercy of rampaging bloodthirsty mobs. No wonder the economy was thriving with all the "problem" people being culled annually [erm]

LyraSilvertongue · 25/09/2013 15:24

Fox, it wasn't an entirely legal site...Wink

I have Netflix, which is definitely worth the £6 a month or whatever it is. Didn't look for the film on there because DP likes to have Turkish subtitles so he can keep up. The Turkish sites have films that have only just come out in the cinema.

AbiBub · 25/09/2013 15:29

Hi!

Omgosh I really dont think I can catch up with all these lovely posts! Talk about me being slow! ! Lol! I feel like an awful joinee of the thread, sorry peeps!

I cant remember who asked now think it may have been bwp and just ds is jyst under 4.5yrs so he will turn 5 just after this bubs is born!

I promise I will try and read back as best I can and kerp up, just feeling lousy today, was sick this morning so not feeling to great and there is so much for me to catch up on, plus ds us still waking up during the night for no reason at all, so doubly tired today!! :0/

How are you all doing?

grey just had a quick peak at spreadsheet truly awesome! Have I a column for people to guess what colour my martian is? I added my scan pic on fb but wasnt sure if I needed to add it anywhere else? !

FoxMulder · 25/09/2013 15:32

I'm not sure our internet connection will cope with streaming a movie (it's shit), so I want to test it out before committing. I'm frightened of the less than legal sites in case I get a virus on my new computer! I watched a movie a bit back that hadn't even been released yet. In fact, they hadn't actually done the special effects yet! It was pretty funny watching actors leaping onto crash mats from imaginary explosions!

Jolleigh · 25/09/2013 15:34

Just had notification that our previous landlord has returned our deposit in full...seriously thought they'd try at least 1 deduction. I've now convinced DP that we should go to Gaucho for steaks...I love today Grin

BadlyWrittenPoem · 25/09/2013 15:37

I think it was me who asked Abi. I have just over five years between my first two which means I'm now worrying about the 19 month gap I'm about to have! How on earth do people manage to look after a baby with a rampaging toddler on the loose?

LyraSilvertongue · 25/09/2013 15:43

Just picked up DS from school and on the way I did two tiny cough-wees. So now I have damp knickers. And for some reason I'm finding it funny so I'm in danger of a giggling fit that could potentially lead to further knicker-wetting Grin

KEGELS!!

Jolleigh · 25/09/2013 15:45

KEGELS! The app that promises me a larger erection did remind me earlier Wink

FoxMulder · 25/09/2013 15:49

Oh, but I can't clench my pelvic floor for more than a couple of seconds at a time. I guess I just have to keep working on it...

Jolleigh · 25/09/2013 15:50

The erection app has different levels Fox so you can build yourself up to long clenches

FoxMulder · 25/09/2013 15:56

But I don't fully understand what an app is Sad

LyraSilvertongue · 25/09/2013 15:58

I might give up and just buy some Tena Lady. My pelvic floor is not co-operating with my attempts to train it.

LyraSilvertongue · 25/09/2013 16:03

Btw, I'm viewing houses tomorrow. It's a bit complicated money-wise but XP is determined to live in my house and I'm ready to throw in the towel and give it to him (he will continue to do all he can to make my life a misery if I don't - his words Hmm) as long as I can get something of an equivalent size. I love viewing houses.
One looks really good with lots of space. It's got four bedrooms, two living rooms, two kitchens and two bathrooms so must have been two flats at some point but I'll see tomorrow if it's easily reinstateable as a single home.

Jolleigh · 25/09/2013 16:09

What phone do you have Fox?

HotCrossPun · 25/09/2013 16:10

Joll That is a sign. You must have a steak. A nice bloody, juicy steak.

HotCrossPun · 25/09/2013 16:11

Foxy You make me Grin
