Happy birthday toddly boo Cake. Have you had enough of the drums yet Boo Wink

Thanks for the advice on the yoga, I shall look into some local courses.

Trix have you tried swimming? It may take the pressure off your body whilst still keeping you fit.

Great news about the birth plan Keep! How exciting!

I bet the furniture looks amazing Sweetie. I'd just be standing there gawping at it all day Grin

I'm not so sure it's the end of it, as have felt as rough as arseholes all night. But it's a start Smile

Kitty you more than likely will see a little heart galloping away in there! It really is amazing.

That's interesting advice from your cousin Solars Grin

keepitgoing · 20/09/2013 10:05

As the wise Mr Churchill said, maybe, it may not be the beginning of the end, but its the end of the beginning!

Though I hope it is the beginning of the end, if not the end itself!

Grin
NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/09/2013 10:33

Grin Keep. Wise words indeed Wink

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 20/09/2013 11:36

Maybe the drums have been absolutely no problem atall he's been at play group all morning Grin

Keep you're right, we will have to re name my Toddly boo, all suggestions welcome. Can't believe it's birth plan time already, though just a few notes on the key points is the best way to do it!

Sweetie the furniture sounds very exciting, I loved that bit when everything was all shiny and new :):)

Can't wait to see you on Sunday!

kitty you should be fine at 7wks I saw a hb at 6+4. I was panicing it would be too early though.

keepitgoing · 20/09/2013 12:48

Have just unpacked suitcase of baby clothes from my sister. Am melting inside. I would say 50% of the clothes are pink.. poor kip if he's a boy... :) There's only like one cardigan. Will I need these it are vests and little body suits plus blankets enough?

Solars · 20/09/2013 15:51

Sweetie looking very good, the bump's getting bigger! How you feeling about everything?

Keep that is so exciting getting all those clothes, my brother keeps telling me he's got a box of stuff for us ready whenever we are.

Maybe this is surely your time to feel better, I'm brooking!

I woke up this morning full of beans, been doing loads and met a friend for lunch, now I'm home I'm absolutely shattered lying on the sofa....

I'm sure you'll all have a great time on Sunday, I'm jealous. I'm hoping to meet up with some friends but one of them always lets us down so we'll see if she turns up!

SweetieTime · 20/09/2013 17:09

Solars everything is coming along now, I cannot wait to finish work. I am just fed up with it, even though I can work from home and generally do what I like. I find it takes me ages to come round in the morning, I am great in the afternoons and then tired again in the evening. I can not complain as I have had a really easy pregnancy compared to some. I just hope it continues. I still am not thinking about the birth bit, medical science got them in there and they will get them out again
I find I tire easily now too so getting your feet up and lying on the sofa is always a good idea, hope you have a cuppa and selection of biscuits.

Keep I went through all the stuff I had bought last night as I couldn't remember how much stuff we had and in what sizes. It seems size is actually irrelevant as when I held vests against other brand vests in the same size there was massive variations. I think we have most things covered, I went for mostly neutrals in the vests and smallest size babygros. My Mum is busy knitting bright coloured cardigans so that will be gender appropriate with little white babygros. I would say you will need cardigans for Kip in a couple of sizes. Winter will be really cold for brand new babies even in the warmest house. I think Boo said the advice is one extra layer than you would wear yourself. So vest, babygro and cardigan most of the time for Kip.

Kitty I went for my scan at exactly 7 weeks and clearly saw the 2 heartbeats. They are like little lights going on and off really quickly, the pictures don't do it justice to actually seeing it with your own eyes.

Maybe the furniture came in 9 boxes all self assembly so it might be a while and much swearing before it is all up. I will take photos when the stickers are all up and we are ready to go. How are you feeling today? Have you managed anything at all? I feel so sorry for you having such a grim time of it.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/09/2013 17:16

Sweetie I've just looked at your pic, you look amazing Smile. 9 boxes Shock. I hope you'll be cracking the whip on MrS this weekend Wink

I had a tin of soup!!

BlindKitty · 20/09/2013 19:08

Sweetie hell yes!!! I thought that loo roll watch stopped when you got diffed! So jealous re the nursery - I can't WAIT!!! Grin

solars I'll be 6+6

BlindKitty · 20/09/2013 19:14

solars sweetie can you hear a heart beat as well or is it just a flicker on the screen?

maybe hope you're feeling better soon bud

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/09/2013 19:23

Thanks Kitty. It'll just be a flicker. You don't get to hear anything till your 16 week appointment unless you order a Doppler Blush

SweetieTime · 20/09/2013 19:29

Kitty we paid for a private NT scan at 12 weeks and they did record the heart beats. They measured between the peaks for one of the measurements they tested.

cartoontrickster · 20/09/2013 20:38

kitty my private clinic doctor always played us the heartbeat too. although at the first scan 6+4 it was a bit crackley and was hard to hear but that's because the baby was so small. I guess thats generally why they wouldn't listen to it so early.

keepitgoing · 20/09/2013 20:43

We heard it at our 7 week scan. You're not really hearing it, but they turn the u/s waves into noise, iyswim.

Brilliant news on the soup maybe!!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/09/2013 20:51

I'm so jealous!!! I've never heard it Sad even at the private clinic

What's everyone's plans for tomorrow? My pregnancy pillow is coming and a Dopplerhurrah!!

keepitgoing · 20/09/2013 21:23

Oh... So maintenance of the lady garden is not easy when you can't see over the bump.... :)

cartoontrickster · 20/09/2013 21:30

oh your getting a Doppler maybe! I love mine!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/09/2013 21:45

I am Trix I said I wouldn't, but you know.... Wink

keep that's hilarious. I laughed so hard! Thank goodness I've been working the old pelvic floor Grin

BlindKitty · 20/09/2013 22:24

maybe where did you get the doppler from? There's a girl on another thread who is a midwives and she sneaks a listen whenever no one is looking!

cartoontrickster · 21/09/2013 02:14

kitty my ones an angel sounds off amazon, remember though these aren't likely to pick up the heartbeat much before 12wks.

BlindKitty · 21/09/2013 07:49

trix I'm just getting ahead of myself as per usual Grin

cartoontrickster · 21/09/2013 08:44

nowt wrong with that kitty I've been doing it the whole time. just didn't want u to get one and panic yourself.
can't wait to hear how u get on with yours maybe

NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/09/2013 09:39

Morning!

Kitty I have the same one as Trix! It came first thing, and I can confirm we have a heartbeat Grin. I definitely wouldn't use it. Before 12 weeks, I'm nearly 14 weeks, and it surprised me just how low down it still is! Much earlier and I don't think I would've found it! For £20 it's an amazing peace of mind.

My pillow also came. I love it. I was trying it out, moved to get something, went to lie back and the bloody dog was draped over it! This is what I have to put up with Grin

So, I managed some tea last night! MrM made a stew and it was just what I needed. Though rather than being sick inbred, I've now switched to chronic indigestion. I had to sleep sitting up. I think gaviscon and I are going to have to make friends Grin

Boo how is drummerboo getting on?!
