Raspberry leaf tea isn't suitable for everyone

Wickedgirl · 24/08/2013 12:42

Mon........are they sensible boys? How long will they be left?

GTbaby · 24/08/2013 12:43

If your using a mulberry bag as a nappy bag stock up of an assortment of freezer bag sizes.
I have nappy creams, teething gells, sanitizer all in small bags and then feeding /water bottles in large ones. I have had quite a few spills in my LV bag and I wasn't using freezer bags. Luckily it was water.

Also big tote style bags don't have the compartments of changing bags. So look out for smaller bags to put stuff in. I have to cotton draw string bags. One for change of clothes and other for nappies and wipes. Having everything loose is a nightmare.

I did try looking for the right sized clear make up bags but still looking.

Right lo is demanding attention. So c ya

Am I the only one hoping baby does not come a day before she is due? I feel like i'm odd i'm ill in this pre labour cr*p but I just want to enjoy my last few weeks as a family of 3 im 35 weeks tomorrow 5 weeks is nothing then i will have her the rest of my life but people look at me as if im mad not to want her here now this second. I am excited just not rushing into the inevitable change :S

Natalieand · 24/08/2013 12:56

I'm kind of with u on that one falcon I'm alma or 33 weeks and dd was born 39+5 I do not want the baby any earlier than 38 weeks for a few reasons
Despite dd being a little Madame ATM I keep looking at her and welling up thinking what the hell have I done? Taking away what we have?!? I feel awful sending her to my sisters for the day or two I will be away giving birth etc. I'm worried that she will hate me for it and let's face it a 3 year old can say some horrible things even if they don't no what it means.... My excitement is fraught with nerves for dd. I was in such a rush too get dd out but I'm really not like that this time I'm not sure if its cos he's a boy. Cos I like it as we are. Cos I'm worried for dd or cos I'm worried about how life will change in general will I cope etc! I'm more scared than doing it first time round

I think it depends on the 13 year old MoN some boys of that age would be a big no no but others ppl that age will be perfectly fine on their own and he's your son so u no him best.

Umlauf I have awful swelling. I haven't worn shoes since about June, haven't worn my rings since about May! Due to my PE/BP history I'm checking my BP every day at home and can see it's gradually on the way up, but I got checked out yesterday and hospital are happy with me.

TheFalconsmistress · 24/08/2013 13:01

Glad i'm not alone in it nat as awful as that sounds xxx

Flyer747 · 24/08/2013 13:02

Umlauf you forgot you have a mulberry bag Grin how is this possible?!

MotherOfNations · 24/08/2013 13:17

He's sensible Wicked and will only be alone for around 3 hours at most. I'm just all to aware that a different side to him might come out when he's with a gang of friends. Having 3 friends over has just become 4 now too. Off to supermarket soon to stock up on food for them. Hopefully if they're engrossed in a DVD and stuffing their faces they won't get up to much.

ananikifo · 24/08/2013 13:44

If anyone's interested, tesco has twinings raspberry leaf tea 3 for £3 and clipper organic raspberry leaf tea 2 for £2.50. They're blends with 50% raspberry leaf but I figure I'll start with those once a day and build up my intake.

Pinkforboys · 24/08/2013 14:22

falcon & nat thank you for feeling that way too. I am looking forward to meeting this bump, but I feel like I'm being unfaithful to DS.

I've just been going through my p's loft sifting thru DS's old baby/toddler stuff. So lovely, but so sad saying goodbye to the really-only-a-boy-can-wear clothes. I've got a good friend to donate them to tho so they'll be well used and loved again

Pinkforboys · 24/08/2013 14:33

ooh- fancy bf scarves & changing bags I must say!!!

Prisci · 24/08/2013 14:35

I am with you falcon and nat, we are not really going to be home until mid September and want to enjoy/take some time whilst Ds1 is at school during the day and DS2 at nursery in the morning and get into some form of routine before the baby arrive, saying that I will probably be desperate in a few weeks.

Iheartcrunchiebars · 24/08/2013 14:40

I agree with you falcon I've only had 1 day off in 6 months. I won't finish work (except 1 job) till October 2nd so I want 2 weeks of feet up, tv and snacks! My last few selfish days!

Wickedgirl · 24/08/2013 14:46

I would love this baby to come a few days early. What with SPD, acid reflux and insomnia, I know that once the baby is here, my health will improve dramatically. After working as maternity nurse, night nanny and doula, I'm also looking forward to cuddles with a baby that I don't have to give back!

I can't wait to be able to go for nice walks in the fresh air, the SPD has been so limiting and I am getting cabin fever from not being able to do much

Natalieand · 24/08/2013 14:55

I've been fine all day now all of a sudden I've got the shakes and goose bumps my stomaches cramping and I seem to be having the opposite too constipation. I feel like I might be sick if I move from the exact position I'm sat in. I feel like absolutely shite too say the least all come on in the last15 minutes Sad I wish dh could come home from work and look after me

PseudoBadger · 24/08/2013 15:15

Oh dear Nat! Could he get home if you asked?

OP posts:
Pinkforboys · 24/08/2013 15:17

oh nat you don't sound good at all. Drink plenty of water and curl up somewhere if DD will permit.

I'm getting infuriated by Boots website. Keeps crashing as I try to check out and sends my back to login. Grrrrrrr.

TheFalconsmistress · 24/08/2013 15:47

nat this is exactly what I have been having be near the sink/toilet its sounds like this pre labour thing however once your tummy/bowels have emptied you will feel better (((hugs)))

legallyblond · 24/08/2013 16:02

Phew, so exhausted at the moment... Just been into town with DD getting her bits and bobs for school... Now in bed while she is with DH!!

I have 2 weeks 3 days until d day!!!! I can't believe it, but have now done all the baby washing etc, so we're vaguely ready. I really hope they don't cond this week though as DH is away all week for work in the outer Hebrides! We live in the West Country... So it's literally the other end if the UK!

Oh and Nat, hope you feel better soon and I misled you re DD's height... Just measured her in H and M - she's 1m only!

Also, I do know how you feel Nat and Falcon, but am preparing all of us lots discussing it all with DD explaining how we'll still love her more than ever, asking her to talk through her worries, explaining all about what will happen on the day the twins will arrive etc....

TheFalconsmistress · 24/08/2013 16:05

2 Weeks 3 days! Wow exciting legally

Flyer747 · 24/08/2013 16:28

First raspberry leaf tea drunk and surprisingly doesn't taste as bad as I expected it too. Like weak fruit raspberry tea. Lets get that uterus nice and ripe ready for 37 week delivery Grin

Wickedgirl · 24/08/2013 16:51

Wow legally....... Not long at all!

I am 33+3 so still have ages until my due date

Natalieand · 24/08/2013 17:36

falcon only just seen your message I had a lay down for an hour or so after the toilet incident and now its like I was never ill I have popped to my sisters to give my neice her birthday present and have some birthday cake. It was weird I felt like I had horrendous sickness bug without the sickness if that makes sense xxx

2 weeks 3 days wow that really is close legally!!! How exciting and hopefully that will give the births a nice kick Start with the exception of 34 of course x

TheFalconsmistress · 24/08/2013 17:41

Yeah it has been happening to me once a day for the last few days can last anything from days to weeks nat but its just that really sick then like nothing has happened not nice though but your not alone xxxx
