flibertygibbet · 19/06/2006 10:08

Hope you're OK Nemo and not too worried about your scan this afternoon (probably a daft thing to say!). I'll check in later to see what they said. Good Luck!

Hi Hattie, hope you feel better soon.I'm still tired but now getting things done seems hard instead of impossible!

Hope everyone else is well.

Dragonhart · 19/06/2006 11:58

Lizzie sorry it has been so long but so sorry. (((Hugs)))

Been off again for ages as ds had an acident last wed and bumped his head badly. Que a trip to A&E only to be told to watch him myself. Been paranoid for the last few days as the lump on his head is MASSIVE and very squashy. They told me to watch ofr all the normal symptoms and stir him frequently when he is asleep to make sure he is ok. Have slept really badly for the last few nights worrying. DH had to stop me going in all the time the first night! He said that if he had bumped his head he would want to have a good night sleep but just got so worried! Everyone keeps telling me it will happen lots more times but still worrying!

Then on thu he had an eye apt as I have been worried he has a lazy eye/squint and she said that his eyesight was good and but he "failed" one of the tests and she said he might have a prob with his left eye so have to wait for another apt for an eye test (god knows how they do an eye test on a 10.5 month old!)

Fri I had my booking in apt and had to go to the hospital for it as had third degree tear last time. They said I would have shared care with midwifes and consultant apts and would have to have a c section. Very nervous about it (despite bad experience last time think I would feel I knew what was going on to have it naturally) and have been watching baby prog on sky showing c sections but looks very scary. Worried about skin to skin contact as they seem to wisk the babies away.

Then had to drive down to mil and fil in essex for the weekend as going to a first communion party. So loads more driving. What with going to inverness last weekend we are exhausted! Looked at number of miles done in the last two weekends and it is 1600miles!!! Think we are crazy! Staying at home for the next few weekends. Wish all my family lived nearer!

On the brighter side of things I am begining to feel abit better and midwife told me they would send me a letter about my scan by this week and should have it by end of next week when I will be 13wks (tbc by scan although last time the scan put me forward but lots of you have gone to less than you thought so who knows).

Loubie- Glad all went well for your scan (prob feels like ages ago now!)

Nemo - good luck today! xxxx

Nemo1977 · 19/06/2006 13:09

Just checking in to see if you're back yet Nemo. Hope all is ok (we need a fingers crossed emoticon!).

However, you're probably still in the waiting area with a full to bursting bladder (why do they always run late?).

ELM · 19/06/2006 17:09

Hi Guys,

Have been off for a couple of days as feeling so yucky. Absolutely exhausted, and bursting into floods of tears at stupid things.

Still trying to get a booking in appointment with the MW at 9 weeks.Shock

I hope the scan is ok Nemo.

Dragonhart · 19/06/2006 18:31

I have come back to check how your scan went Nemo but no news. Hope everything is ok. Thinking of you xxxxxx

Dragonhart · 19/06/2006 18:34

Also ELM - I just had my booking in apt at 11 weeks and only heard about it when I was 10+4! Was just about to ring when the midwife rang me.

Nemo1977 · 19/06/2006 18:44

hi all thanks a lot for thoughts again
Scan went well saw baby and heartbeat...am 10+1 according to measurements but thats fine as long as baby is. Had to have whole booking in and bloods etc while I was there which is why it took soo long. didnt get home till 5.30pm then had to feed littlies.

becks5109 · 20/06/2006 09:37

Anyone suddenly feeling more human. Of course now i'm worried as have been feeling dog rough for the past weeks - am 10 weeks tomorrow and suddenly feel much more human and less tired so now I'm worried that a bad thing and means I'm not preg any more.

kaylasmum · 20/06/2006 11:16

Hi,

I have my appointment for my early scan this friday, and i'm both excited and terrified. I reckon i'm about ten weeks at the moment and have had 3 mc's in the past, 2 of which were missed so i worry so much about that happening again. The only thing that keeps me from panicking too much is that i'm feeling so sick all day and have next to no appetite, all good signs i know but i wont relax until Friday.

We are going camping straight after my scan and i've decided that whatever happens we will still be going away, although my dp says that if we get bad news he'll book us into a hotel instead, but he says that everything will be fine.

Trying to keep positive,

Tracey.

Dragonhart · 20/06/2006 11:47

Becks I too am feeling a bit more human and am worried that there could be a prob. I think it is perfectly natural as you dont really know what is going on in there until you see the scan. I was lucky last time and everything went well but it is hard not to think that this time we might not be as lucky and convince yourself that there might be something wrong. My dh has banned me from reading anything else about pregnancy until we have had the scan because I keep reading horror preg stories and waking him up at night because I cant sleep.

Kaylasmum good luck with the scan on fri. I guess you are bound to worry but sending lots of pos vibes xxxxxxx Where are you going camping? Anywhere hot!! Envy

MerlinsBeard · 20/06/2006 11:48
