Know what you mean LTH...
all I want to do is sleep and sleep and sleep.. (prefereably without throwing up) Please tell me it gets better in the 2nd trimester........

The good news is I've booked a private scan for July 10th...can't wait.
and LTH as for your DH send him over to my house, then he can experience what a sh*t tip is. Still the double glazing goes in next week so that's a step in the right direction....

Loubie37 · 22/06/2006 18:22

I'm tired, no exhausted....I'm like a zombie and don't know what to do with myself. The house is a tip but I just haven't got the energy to do anything about it. DH does some of it, but spends more time in the garden than in the house....yes, a nice garden is lovely, but I'd rather have a clean tidy house

Hopefully it will pass for us soon....roll on 2nd trimester - the one where we're supposed to all bloom!!

Is anyone else felling really run down? I've got yet another ear infection (this is the 3rd lot of antibiotics I've been on while pregnant), I've had 2 styes in my eyes and 2 cold sores all in the last week. I'm still weeing for England and generally feeling really down - which makes me feel guilty when I know how much I wanted to be pregnant???

Hope everyone else is OK

trinityrhino · 23/06/2006 09:16

I have never felt so drained and blue before

I want this baby desperately so why do I feel so blue?

The tiredness is nearly killing me and if the sickness doesn't ease in the second trimester I'm going to move out and live in a dark box

sorry to moan, hope everyone else is feelingok

Has anyone found that the sickness is actually increasing rather than fading, i'm about 10 weeks now and over the past few days i've felt worse than ever. I'm signed off work at the moment but am due back on monday, i work on a checkout so i can't just get up and go to the toilet if i need to, its a nightmare!

Got my scan this afternoon and absolutely dreading it, i've had an upset stomach all morning which is due to ibs and because i'm feeling stressed its really playing up. Just want to get it over and done with. I even had a dream last night about having my scan and it was horrible, hope it was'nt a premonition.

Sorry for being so negative but i feel so awful, physically and emotionally.

Anyway better go just now, we're going camping right after i've had my scan so lots to do, might keep my mind off things for a while.

Tracey

ELM · 23/06/2006 11:56

Kaylasmum: good luck with the scan this afternoon, and I hope you feel better for camping.

flibertygibbet · 23/06/2006 13:05

My scan was fine After scaring me witless, the baby was waving at me and wriggling about!

They've brought my due date forward to 6th Jan and said I'm 11+6!

Hope everyone else is well today.

trinityrhino · 23/06/2006 13:23

so pleased for you fliberty

what was your due date before??

Nemo1977 · 23/06/2006 13:29

No idea how I will cope with 3 sooo young.

Devongirl · 23/06/2006 13:49

Hi

Just popped over from the Due December thread - just want to say hang in there everyone - one day about 2 weeks ago I just woke up and felt SO much better, and now my energy levels are back to (almost) pre-pregnancy, and nausea has gone away almost entirely. It will happen!!! (Felt like it never would to me as well)

x

ELM · 23/06/2006 14:41

Thanks Devongirl...light at the end of tunnel!

That's great news Fliberty..so happy for you

trinityrhino · 23/06/2006 14:52

thanks devongirl, I will be rereading your post ALOT

it really does feel like it will never end

flibertygibbet · 23/06/2006 16:06

Thanks everyone.

Trinity - the Doc told me due 10th or 11th Jan, but the first scan at 8wks said I was 6+4 so I was expecting them to say I was due later than I thought. Now they say I'm due 6th Jan and I'm 12 wks tomorrow hurrah!

2Happy · 23/06/2006 18:15

Haven't posted for a bit, but I've been lurking. Sunday night all my nausea just completely disappeared, I stopped needing the loo all the timw and started to sleep well. Naturally convinced myself that this meant the baby had died . Anyway, the insomnia's returned, the nausea's really not bad, but the tiredness is overwhelming. And I blagged a scan this morning and everything was FINE [bloody relieved emoticon]. I am officially 9+5. Can't believe my nausea is improving so early - it was 16 weeks with ds!
Anyway, much relief here, and I'll try not to be such a worrywort in future

Loubie37 · 23/06/2006 19:10

Glad to hear it's good news scan wise for everyone - I'm having withdrawal symptoms, this is the first week since week 5 I've not had one! There's less than 2 weeks to go until my 12 week one though now, so hopefully I'll not need another until then

I'm still tired and getting bad headaches but fortunately the nausea has more or less gone - I've never actually been sick so far which is good

I just can't wait until I'm 12 weeks now - I'm still convinced something will go wrong....although I'll be in double figures tomorrow which is exciting

Hi everyone just thought I would pop on quickly to let you all know how my dating scan went, it was fine baby was fine as far as they could see im 11+ 1 which means im due 11th jan my next scan is 29th august that is when they can tell the sex of the baby . I was suffering with nausea but it has got better this last week or so fingers crossed for you all.

Nemo1977 · 23/06/2006 19:49

laughalot my next scan is also august 29th which even though its 2months seems really close to me..lol

Dragonhart · 23/06/2006 22:48

Flibberty and laughalot - Glad scans went well.

I really fed up with our healthcare here. Had booking in appt last fri and was told that should have a scan next week but got letter through and it wont be til 11th july when I will be 14+4! (acording to my dates). It seems ages away and when I rang about it they basically said tough luck!

I am 12 weeks today and have to say that I do feel beter. Not 100% but much beter. Of course am now worried what that means and have to wait for ages to get some reasurance.

Who are we trying to kid that we will stop worrying in the next trimester!!!!

indignatio · 24/06/2006 06:10

hi all
greetings from Singapore - just been catching up on your news. Pleased to read all the good stuff and hugs to those still having a hard time of it.

I have a scan for next friday - so fingers crossed.

Not looking forward to the long haul flight home this evening but really looking forward to seeing my boys - dh and ds - have hanaged to check in online - so leg room seat this time. bean did not like being scrunched up on the way here.

comforting to read that insommnia is preg related as I'm having very few symptoms - but that might just be jet lag !!

Will post again when home

love to all

jessddibs · 24/06/2006 08:11

Hi girls!

I know it may not feel like it, but after reading back over the last 2 days postings (I work thurs & fri so never get on) you do all sound alot more positive, honest! Good news with everyones scans that had them, most reaching 12 weeks soon, some of you with symtoms easing (but still worrying!!) So all round I think we are all gradually getting there. Hopefully we can start to have a few laughs here over the next trimester before the 3rd one kicks in and we all start moaning again about swollen feet, big bumps, over due dates and generally feeling fed up! That is on top of worrying about the birth...if you are anything like me!

I feel really shattered still and strangely my sickness has really gone awol after 5pm!?! It's a nightmare, last night I let dd fall asleep on the sofa cause I felt too rough to put her to bed. I physically couldn't move! Dh put her to bed when he came in at 00.30! After a boozey day at royal ascot races! Poor child having beer and kebab breath over her at that time of night!

Well, thats all from me folks! Apart from I have stupidly agreed to holding a bbq for the footie on sunday!!! It has grown from being a family one to everyone!! I have now got to prepare for 28 people!! aaaaaahhhhhh! Best get shopping!

Jess
10 weeks today!

KerryJ · 24/06/2006 14:50

Just thought I'd pop my head in and say hi as my darling, wonderful mum has just taken the ds's off to her house for the afternoon, so I can get some rest! Can't get over how nice it is to be able to type without a rampant 15 month old trying to join in!

Feeling okay here, apart from my boobs. They didn't hurt at all at the beginning but are now getting really painful during the day and actually make me feel sick when I touch them. Not helped by the fact I'm still breastfeeding aforementioned 15m old and really not enjoying it at the moment.

To anyone who has to wait a while for their dating scan I really can't recommend a doppler enough. I hired one at 9+6, found the heartbeat after a couple of minutes and feel so much better now I know for sure there's someone in there . Anyway, off to chill out for a while (okay, I'll be honest...off to lie on the bed and hopefully have a kip!)

trinityrhino · 24/06/2006 14:54

Glad to hear your getting some rest kerry, I know what you mean about a rampant 15 month old.
Well done to you for still managing to breastfeed, it must be difficult.

Hope you manage to have a kip

Hello to all the rest, hope everyone is feeling ok and not worrying too much

DH took dd1 wimming today which she absolutely loved and he said he would take her everysaturday which is lovely and they go at about the same time that dd2 has a nap so I can get a bit of peace which is wonderful

Nemo1977 · 24/06/2006 16:36

hi all
been busy bee today and have scrubbed the kitchen[really really needed it] bathroom, put a ton of washing away and cut grass/tidied garden. PRobably helped as DH let me have a lie in so got up at 9.,30am instead of 6.30am and felt energised..although dont soo much at the moment..lol DH also came home yesterday with a huge bunch of flowers for me..so asked if he had been abducted..lol

About dopplers..just word of warning...if you cant find heartbeat with renting one please dont worry as most mws who are the proffesionals wouldnt try at this stage or before 16wks nevermind so early on. Only wanted to say as I know it caused me a ton of panic when I was pg with ds.

Dragonhart · 24/06/2006 17:57

Kerry and Nemo - thought about buying a doppler but , as you said Nemo I thought they didn't work til a bit later. Not sure what it would make me think if I couldn't find a heartbeat!!! Where can you rent them from? Is it alot cheaper?

Dragonhart · 24/06/2006 18:00

Also Loubie- Do you know if you can fit 2 car seats and a person, or 3 car seats in the middle row of seats in the Zafira?
