I haven't found a Feb 2007 thread yet so thought I'd start one. Just found out I was pregnant on Monday so it is very early days still - but so exciting nonetheless. The due date calculators generally say I am due on 1 Feb, with on churning out 31 Jan and another 4 Feb. I thought it was more like 15 Feb but I will find our more at my first doctor's appointment on 15 June.

My stats:
me 28
dh 35
first baby
due 31/01 or 1/02 or 4/02 or 15/02 ???? (take your pick!)

Anyone want to join me?

mummy2jake · 26/06/2006 22:28

swift1 i feel the same and im 8 weeks tomorrow feel hungry then after a few mouthfuls i feel really full, bloated and ike im gonna be sick

sorkycake · 26/06/2006 22:41

Congrats titchy, that's lovely news.
CM is cervical mucous, sorry forgot who ask by the time I clicked reply .
Dh has left today at 3.30pm and only just got to hotel now. Fire at Kings X apparently. Poor dh, he sounded fed up.
Me, I'm actually doing fine today. Sickness is definitely easing and tiredness is not so bad. I seem to have finally cracked my daily routine of resting and doing a little bit of mum stuff. Belly still feels huge tho', guess it's better to get used to it.
I don't wear bra's if I can get away with it, only normally a titchy 32b, they are now a C cup but still won't wear a bra everyday. If I do it's an underwired one, until I get the agent provocateur one I'm after. It's gorgeous!
Have a scan date for the 31st July, woohoo!
Hope you all start feeling better soon, and big welcome to those who have got BFP this week!

bunny3 · 27/06/2006 11:51

hello all - I was Bigsurprise but have now come out under my usual name. I had a scan this morning - measuring 7wks,1 day, all looking good, nice heartbeat Now it seems real.

babydriver · 27/06/2006 13:08

Hello all, and especially to the newcomers since last week.

Really pleased titchy about your scan - I had a mc last year, and know just what you and others mean abt the worry. I had a horrid dream last night that I was bleeding but thankfully it was just a dream. Can hardly wait for my scan, which isn't till 24 July and seems a lifetime away.

On the bra topic, I don't want to fork out loads but am beginning to burst (or shd that be bust ) out of what I've got. I thought I might get a couple of those secret support vests from M&S or even from a mat catalogue as they're quite handy all the way through. Can only find one of my mat & bfeeding bras from last time round and you can really tell that I wore it for months on end (on a very short rotation with the other couple) so may not be much use to me again.

peachygirl · 27/06/2006 16:18

Hi all
I was planning to get quite cheap bra's asda do sports bras for about £4/5 I've got on and it's quite good. Bunny3 good news about your scan!

Rubymummy · 27/06/2006 20:32

Hi all and thanks franky, peachy and lucy for your welcomes! Told DH2B as soon as I could and he is iver the moon! Unfortunately it is a bed week as my grandmother was buried today and we are getting married on saturday so emotions all over the place. Am feeling bloated, tired and emotional but not sick yet.
Cycles been all over the shop since finishing breastfeeding in March so guessing EDD is end of feb, maybe 20-24th. But need scan to know for sure!
My stats:
Me 26, DH2B 35, one dd 13mths!
Hope to get to know you all and share gripes over the next 9 mths! (Although last time i got very fed up watching all my MN antenatal buddies post birth announcements when i ended up 13 days overdue!) Hopefully will be to busy with dd to notice going overdue this time!! xx

handlemecarefully · 27/06/2006 21:02

Not stalking you Bunny, but I remembered you were having a scan today and so searched for your name on current messages to see if there was any news. Very pleased for you that it's all looking good

bunny3 · 27/06/2006 21:51

HMC, that's really lovely of you to remember thanks alot for the message too. I'm already expanding at a rate of knots so look out for me on the Slimming World threads next March!!!

My due date is 12th Feb according to scan. I think I might keep legs crossed till 14th for a Valentines baby ... aahhh...

Uki · 28/06/2006 03:25

Hello All new and Old

For those of you that are worried i read last night that"If a feotal heartbeat is detected at 8 weeks, the pregnancy has a 98% chance of continuing, inceasing to 99% at 10 weeks" I don't know why but reading that made me feel better. I haven't had scan yet but maybee 8 weeks is a good time.
I just found out a good friend is pregnant 3 days due before me, and another friends waters have broken so a bubba is on it's way.

I have been busy packing boxes ready for moving and not sure it's a great thinh to do, but have not much choice.
Bye for now & Take care everyone

cadbury · 28/06/2006 09:27

hello everyone. I'm feeling a bit worried this morning. My nausea seems to have disappeared. It has been less bad for the last couple of days and I don't feel itt at all this morning. I haven't had any bleeding or cramping but something insode me is rahter worried that things might have gone wrong. Am I reading too much into things?

peachygirl · 28/06/2006 11:29

Cadbury I think lots of us feel the same way. I'm now just over 6 weeks and worry if I feel nauseaus, worry if don't, I worry that my boobs aren't getting massive and are only tender when I poke at them. I wee lots which I think is a good sign but I worry that I'm not eating enough 'good food'....
It doesn't help that I had a chat with another teacher in school yesterday who has just lost a baby at6 weeks and she said she stopped feeling PG. I know worry if I really do feel it too.
It goes on and on really.
Someone give me a good slap!
I think that first scan and chat with the midwife will put our minds at rest and until that day we really need to try to be positive!
I've got my booking in apointment later today so I check in to tell you all about it

Barefootand · 28/06/2006 14:03

Hi

Found out 2 weeks ago that I'm expecting - have had a rough time as initial scan showed the baby may be ectopic. Fortunately, the Peanut showed us their beating heart on the second scan and the midwife confirmed that I'm 8 weeks - due early February.

I'm 33
DH 33
Baby No. 1

Nausea - check, sore boobs - check, forgetful & tired - check. So I thought I'd join the club !!

suzi2 · 28/06/2006 16:47

congrats barefoot & welcome.

Cadbury my symptoms are up and down although they're still not too strong. I kept a diary with DS and they were all over the place. Nausea for 3 days then nothing for a week etc. Then sick twice then nothing. boobs were only sore because I poked them too much! I wouldn't read too much into it. True that many people say that loss of symptoms was an indicator or their mc, but as many (if not more) have fluctuating symptoms and their babies are just fine.

I have found that there is a direct link between nausea and how tired I am. Or how stressed I am. Or when i worry about the baby it gets worse (nervous!). Are you less tired or rundown?

Hopecat · 28/06/2006 17:03

Hello Pregnant ladies!

I got my BFP yesterday, and I'm only 4 weeks PG - EDD 7th March 07.

I started a 'due in March' thread, but I'm the only one on it at the moment, so do you mind if I hang around here for a while?

My stats:
Me: 30
DH: 33
First pregnancy

Already exhausted; tender, swollen boobs; faint nausea; food cravings & aversions. Had a good strong line on the test yesterday, so fingers crossed.

soundbites · 28/06/2006 17:23

Yippee, Hopecat - delighted with your news! I was wondering if March 07 was getting going yet. Welcome Barefoot too - and any others I have failed to say congrats to.

Cadbury, like Suzi I have better days than others and last week I was throwing up most mornings and then managed to avoid it for four days and then it has come back the last two mornings. I fretted about this with my mum and she said that how ill you feel possibly corresponds to how actively developing the baby is at the time. That sort of makes sense. I do worry too constantly - my cousin was due three months ahead of me and had a silent mc and I am frightened of that.

Anyway - lots of good luck to everyone. Must dash off to catch my train home ...

flowertot · 28/06/2006 17:32

Uki, that was interesting about the heartbeat. Thanks for posting that. Might try to get an early scan because could do with some reassurance. As could we all! We all know there is no point worrying and most m/c are due to there being a problem, but its still so hard isn't it. Just to get to the 12 week milestone seems forever. Plus also read someone on here had m/c at 15 weeks. Guess its going to be a long 9 months!

flowertot · 28/06/2006 17:33

By the way how are all the partners getting on? Mine tries to be supportive (I think!) but can't cope with the hormones and mood swings and emotions already!

titchy77 · 28/06/2006 17:40

Mines the same flowertot, he said to his mum the other day "I think she's gone mental i dont know whats wrong with her!!" and he said to me yesterday I dont know who you are anymore you've totally changed!!!

Hopecat · 28/06/2006 18:49

Thanks soundbites - nice to be with you on another thread (for a while at least).

Re: mood-swings I'm only four weeks and keep bursting into tears and taking things terribly personally.

Think I'm being hard work.

Will try to keep a lid on it, but don't think I'll do that well - it's quite overwhelming.

Have a look at this site . It's designed for fathers-to-be. It gives them a week-by-week development overview (complete with photos) and also lets them know how you're probably feeling as you go through each stage. Useful if they're feeling a bit freaked out and not supporting you as much as they could...

sorkycake · 28/06/2006 18:49

Hurrah! Hopecat that's wonderful news here's to a happy & healthy 8 months ahead for you. There can't be many left on the ttc threads now can there? It seems most of us conceived in the last 6 weeks

MaybeBaba · 28/06/2006 20:07

Evening ladies - tired here too, but had a bad ew weeks (not pg related but more family related - death & redundancy threat!). Anyway - the only symptoms I have is wind and constipation - small pain in side but eel sure it is wind as only nearly 6 weeks! It is great being able to chat about it all here - I hate keeping secrets but my 12 weeks will be just when I come back from 2 weeks off work - so will need to keep a lid on it for another 5 weeks!! Shouldn't be too hard - work in office with mainly men and they don't notice anything! Will have to get new tops for work as boobs expanding! Matalan here I come for £6 shirts!!!

Well - better go as need bath - usually in bed by 10 these days!

Uki · 29/06/2006 03:28

Hi Everyone
My friend had a baby at 4:30am something this morning (my time) i went around while she was in labour for 2 hours and then drove her to the hospital at 4:30 pm but bubba didn't come till next day. Long labour 24 hours all up poor thing. I only have a 17 hour induced labour to compare it to, but that beats me.
Can't wailt to see her 47cm and pound 4oz or 2.9 kg.
Will go visit today sometime. Feel tired and more sick today so that theory is right.
bye for now

Uki · 29/06/2006 03:30

sorry 6 pound and 4 oz, not just 4 oz that's probably our babies size.
