Steffanoid · 29/05/2013 23:57

forgetmenots · 30/05/2013 00:04

Marking my place :)

arlandria666 · 30/05/2013 00:08

Thank you i am going to keep trying he has had some good feeds the last one just finished he was on 25 mins and plenty of gulps! DH has just gone to change him as he was beginning to get sleepy and we need to cup feed him now.
Here's where the sleepless nights really begin totally worth it tho just hope it works!

joanna1990marie · 30/05/2013 00:10

Im due on Friday but looks like I'll be gate crashing the June thread :-(

AlohaMama · 30/05/2013 00:29

Wow, that went quick. We're obviously getting quite talkative Smile

Yes red we should update the stats thread, I'm starting to loose track of all the babies already born. Or we could have a new one. I'm not sure how many of the people on the original list are still around...

Glad you've had some good feeds today Arlandria, hope it keeps improving so you can keep the mws happy and just get on with being a mum.

arlandria666 · 30/05/2013 00:57

I hope so too as i am currently feeling like daisy the cow manually breast feeding after every feed ready for the next! Moooo! Lol

AlohaMama · 30/05/2013 01:00

ha ha, try it with a double electric breast pump, then you properly feel like a cow hooked up to a milking machine Grin

Littlemissexpecting · 30/05/2013 03:04

Hi everyone.
I need to have a catch up on last thread.
How many babies have we got now? I'm 37 weeks now so could be anytime for me, or could be 5 weeks (hopefully not!).
I really need this lo to start dropping, he's not engaged yet but this heartburn is driving me mad, and I'm struggling to breath too.
Anyone else awake at this stupid hour?
Who ever recommended the book on the kindle the antenatal group- thank you. I'm getting quite into it.

MadameJ · 30/05/2013 03:19

Im up and about too....with stupid heartburn and trapped wind, trouble is with every twinge I am convinced baby is coming as I have never being this pregnant before so dont really know what to look for!! Hope everyone else is getting a good nights sleep and the new babies are feeding well and letting the new mummies get some decent rest. Im going to try and go back to bed soon and hopefully get some rest before dd decides its morning so nighty night x

Steffanoid · 30/05/2013 03:50

madamej I am exactly the same re any little feelings or anything like that

welcome Joanna you've still got time to have your lo yet Smile will send good thoughts your way

have just realised I think my heartburn is stopping, I know he's dropped and is engaging but I thought id have heartburn forever the rate it was going!

pinkbear82 · 30/05/2013 04:39

hello stupid o'clock waking. ugh. so annoying.

AlohaMama · 30/05/2013 04:54

OK I've got the antenatal group on kindle too - this thread is turning into a book club! Will save it to read during the long hours breastfeeding.

Olimoss · 30/05/2013 06:30

Hi all - Joe arrived yesterday at 1110am, 7lb 2oz, nicely perfect.

Post-natal wards are as bloody hot as people say. I'm wearing my hospital gown as a skirt and a singlet vest on top! V glam.

Chelsea & West been terrific, also managed to bag an amenity room (cost stupid money, at moment don't care, is totally worth it) and looking good to get home on Friday. Elective Csection for the win!

Catch you all in a couple days. And congrats Maisie! Best of luck to those of you up next!

MrsBri · 30/05/2013 06:49

Congratulations, Oli :-) Cute name and a nice size too.

We've been warned about tropical temperatures...kind of dreading that bit!

I hope you do get to go home tomorrow, that'd be great.

I feel left out with no Kindle! Though I need to be cross stitching, not reading. :-/

We did rattle through the last thread somewhat.

The stats thread is quite out of date with people who've gone AWOL and some people aren't on it now.

How shall we update it?

AlohaMama · 30/05/2013 07:13

Congrats oli, and lovely name. Hope you have a speedy recovery and get released soon!

Mrsbri - dh got me my kindle with last baby as he figured I could read while bf-ing as I only needed one hand to hold and turn the page. Has proved to be money well spent.

Am starting to worry a bit about this baby coming early. I started having bh early on and they can be reasonably strong, but several evenings in the last week they have been every five mins and tonight are particularly uncomfortable. I don't think they are proper contractions but am finding it hard to believe I've still got another 4 weeks to go. Does anyone know if bh get stronger as labour approaches or does it not really mean anything? I can't have his baby yet - dh is midway through various DIY projects as we get ready to put house on the market in a few weeks!

AlohaMama · 30/05/2013 07:15

Maybe we should start a new stats thread, copy on those we know are still around and anyone not on can add themselves. As long as those who read but don't post often won't be offended if they accidentally get deleted from the list?!

MrsBri · 30/05/2013 07:33

If they're reading the threads they'll know what we've done and can re-add themselves :-)

I thought that was the best option, but can't do it at the mo as I'm on my phone.

Thinking I may have to kill DH. I've been awake for bloody ages as normal, made worse by a shitty cold / sore throat so I'm in pain and can't really breathe too well. He's just lying there snoring and just being asleep. I think he should be awake with me. Git! If he was sleeping quietly it may not be so bad, but the snoring really takes the biscuit!

And now baby has hiccups. Again.

Please come early / on time, baby, I can't do 5 more weeks of this!

learnermummy · 30/05/2013 07:40

Morning all. Marking place on new thread.
Congrats Oli Smile.
I've had my morning dose of spatone, orange juice, nettle tea, fortified cereal, raspberry leaf tablets and evening promise oil! Now to get dressed, feel v lazy today!

AmIGoingMad · 30/05/2013 07:41

Congratulations oli! Lovely name and size and really pleased you're happy with how it all went!Smile

I'm full of butterflies about scan today at the moment. I'm excited but so nervous. It's like the 12 wks all over again- though that seems ages ago now!

Thanks for new thread red!Smile

AmIGoingMad · 30/05/2013 07:42

X post with learner and laughing at evening promise oil! Bet DH wishes that existed here right now!Grin

MrsBri · 30/05/2013 07:43

I hope your scan goes well, AmI. Is it purely to check position? Fingers crossed baby is facing the right way :-)

Steffanoid · 30/05/2013 07:45

congrats oli Thanks

woke up for 4 wees in the night, I have a feeling someone is pushing my bladder more than usual.
every single time I woke up was in the hopes that it was because id had a pain or my waters were going to go, but no such luck.

did manage to settle down in tge end yesterday evening after a sofa swap and changing sitting position all through zoolander, 5 mins after it finished we came to bed where it started again grrr

learnermummy · 30/05/2013 07:52
