No symptoms at all, hence did another PG test today (still BFP!). Went to see GP on Friday, as I had had brown spotting for a few days, got told to go away and come back at about 8 weeks. A bit worried as I have had a couple of early m/cs, but doc not at all concerned, told to stop BDing for a while though!

magnolia1 · 11/05/2006 16:14

Due...either 28th Dec or 3rd ish January but needing a scan to confirm. very very tired with this and already super wobbly tummy :( (as in wobbly not feeling sick)

Dragonhart · 11/05/2006 21:17

Laughalot was feeling really good but got a really bad migraine today and had to just carry on and pretend was ok as all my family know I was sick and got migraines when I was pg last time and we have not told anyone yet. Also had to look after ds1. Was so much easier last time when I could just wallow in feeling rubbish with no-one else to look after!

Nemo - makes me not worry so much. If it makes you feel any better a friend of mine got pg when her 2nd baby was 6wks! Went back to work after 2months!! Think she is made of harder stuff than me!

My stats are
Me - 26
DH - 28
DS1 - 9months

Dragonhart · 11/05/2006 21:20

Forgot to say that I have to go to wales on sat for a week with MIL, FIL, SIL, nephew, mum and nan and pretend that everything is normal! Hope that the sickness holds off for another week and that no-one notices that I am not drinking!

Cerys2Kids · 11/05/2006 23:16

Hi everyone, I would love to join your thread I'm new to this so please be gentle :)

I only found out yesterday that I'm pregnant had my suspicions though, bit of a shock as I am still breastfeeding ds1 who is 10 1/2 months. I should be asleep but feeling nauseas so I thought I'd say hello and hope that it takes my mind off it.

My stats
Me - 35

DH - 36

DD1 - 5
DS1 - 10 1/2 months

Due 12th January

LadyTophamHatt · 12/05/2006 07:46

Morning Girls. OMG my boobs hurt this morning, don't remember them hurting like this before.

For some reason I'm really really worried about this pregnancy and something going wrong.... more worried than I was about any of my others.
Not really sure how to change the way I'm feeling/thinking.......Hmmm do really think it's possible not to worry[!

OP posts:
saltcod · 12/05/2006 09:14

Morning everyone!

LTH, I don't remember my boobs hurting this much last time either! And the worrying never really stops, even once they're born.... just a natural woman thing I think. Men never seem to suffer from this affliction quite so badly!

Feeling quite nauseous again today (had my first chunder this week....lovely Grin ) but find the nausea quite reassuring coz that & the sore boobs make me realise that I really am "pregnant". Last time I felt nauseous and I felt pregnant. This time, it's the nausea etc which reminds me that I'm pregnant... but I don't actually feel pregnant IYSWIM. Actually, I still can't believe it! I'm starting to get the metallic taste in mouth thing though, so another pointer that I really am pregnant! Hope everyone else isn't feeling too yukky?

Hattie2 · 12/05/2006 09:58

Morning all!

LTH and SC - I'm with you on the boobs hurting. I remember them growing last time but not hurting like this, I don't suppose there's anything that can be done about it. Also have been feeling sick for the last couple of days when I managed to get away without any sickness at all last time.

For the stats:
Me 35 (guess I'm an 'older mum' this time round then)
Dh 38 (39 next week!)
Dd 3

elliepippamummy · 12/05/2006 10:52

Have to say I've been sick this time got sore boobs and feeling knackered, when i was pg with DD didn't have any symptons at all so maybe this one is a boy (which my DH would love as he is fed up of pink and lilac!!)

Hope everyone feels better soon xx

indignatio · 12/05/2006 11:06

stats time
me 36
dh 38
ds nearly 4
ttc since ds was born as he took the best part of 4 years too
tingly/pins and needles nipples - nausea mainly in the evenings after ds in bed. With ds I used to feel nauseous once I finished work - with this one it seems to be once he is in bed - guess it's just when my body says I am allowed to wallow in the feeling of being pregnant.
dh just back from US and has inspected stick to make sure this isn't a phantom preg - promised to wee on another one for him tomorrow - isn't love grand !!

my ds has also recently been asking whether i have a baby in my tummy - why not (we are not teling him because he would not be a patient waiter) and that he would like a little brother - so no pressure there hey - MIL would like a gd as she has 5 gs - so hopefuly someone will get what they want.

laughalot · 12/05/2006 11:39

Rach69 · 12/05/2006 21:00

Hi sorry I am just butting in here - I don't know what made me click on due in Jan 07 but I was due in Jan 06 (ds3 now nearly 4months)and feeling nostalgic! I just wanted to say congratulations to Nemo :) wow! - I don't 'know' you but I remember you from due in Dec last year.

LadyTophamHatt · 13/05/2006 08:20

Feel really ache-y and rubbish today.
not morning sickness, just crap....

OP posts:
laughalot · 13/05/2006 08:32

Morning all well I feel ok besides my boobies have been killing me since yesterday afternoon.

Hattie2 · 13/05/2006 09:58

Morning - visit to the docs didn't exactly go as planned yesterday. I've been having some odd period-like pains, didn't think too much about it as it's not really painful, just achey. Doctor did an internal exam and because it's sore on one side decided it might be ectopic :(

She did stress that it was only 'might' and she doesn't think it is but it's better to be safe etc. so I have to go to the hosp on monday for a blood test and then back on Weds for another test. Apparently they look for the pregnancy hormone to have doubled in 48 hours to indicate a normal pregnancy (it's too early to scan as I'm only 5 weeks).

Just trying not to worry too much about it over the weekend ......

Choccamocha · 13/05/2006 10:32

Hi Hattie2 - Hope the weekend isn't too stressful for you. These things always happen on a weekend so you have to wait. Fingers crossed everything will be ok.
