I have signed up to thinkbaby.co.uk, they send me a weekly blow by blow by email, a lot of the sites do it now.

Northerner - great news!!! With mine the bleeding lasted for about 10 days in total I would say, got worse then slowly tapered off. I always bleed at smear tests and the nurse at the EPU (did you have Jeanette?) said that the "erosion" on my cervix probably contributed to the bleeding. Could be somethign similar?

have added myself to the list... feeling like shite at the moment i'm so tired all the time my whole life feels like effort!! in fact i think i have narcolepsy! i worked yesterday and felt as if i was gonna pass out every time i stood up or was standing for any length of time!!! i don't remember feeling this tired with ds, but with him i just threw up, a lot!!

Hi All! Hope you all had a good Easter weekend! Just thought I would drop in and say that my flight went well with the kids although they picked up a bug somewhere along the way and they are being sick out of one end or the other. Fun! I also picked up something and I'm sick. At least my Mom is taking care of the kids and letting me get some rest.

We have now told our families about the pg. They are excited about it and it's kind of a relief that they know now so I don't have to pretend to be feeling okay.

Who can still close their trouwsers ? At least in the morning... I have to admit I can't in the evening but I have no trouble in the AM.

I know its terrible! I can not get in my jeans anymore, have put them away till after the baby, am due 5/11.

Went to a party on friday night and everyone said they could see I was pregnant and was feeling my bump. Am 11 weeks now, what will I be like by 40 weeks!!!!

Hi, having a catch up after a weekend with DP at my Gran's. Had a lovely time but v difficult to explain the non drinking and slightly larger tummy etc. I can't tell her until 12 weeks as she is still quite old fashioned (we were allowed to sleep in the same room at hers but only because we have been living together for over 4 years!!!) so I am dreading breaking the news to her. I love her to pieces and I am desperate not to upset her. I know it will but I am terrified of doing so.

Anyway, enough of my worries. Brodiesmummy, I am so sorry to hear your news. Please look after yourself :( sending you some big hugs

Hi all, So sorry about your loss, Brodiesmum - take care. I'm going for the nuchal (being 37 and a worrier about everything), although I don't know if I'd go for either amnio or CVS - which may raise the question, what's the point of the nuchal? Can only get into 2 pairs of trousers now, both until 4PM. Glamorous times.

I haven't been able to do any of my trousers up since I was about 5/6 weeks, I am now 8 weeks and am really starting to wonder if there is more than one in there, and if there is only one, if I have got my dates seriously mucked up and I am actually waaaaay further on than I thought - although don't see how that is possible!

toadstool - i have decided i am going for the nuchal scan and will call them today for an appointment. Let me know how you go.

I was bigger at 8 weeks than i am now but i think some of that was due to bowel problems. Most of my work trousers are a size 12 because i am a member of a rowing club which means big thighs - so lucky i have room to expand my waist into them.

Northener great news fingers crossed that the bleeding stops soon for you.

I am out of my jeans and I only have 1 pair of trousers that fit me, I have had to go to mattalan and buy a couple of pairs of cheap draw string trousers to wear round the house.

We told the family and a couple of friends over the weekend - they'd all guessed. I have my scan on 28th April - which should make me 13+1.

I so don't want to be in the office today - really struggling to focus on anything apart from the list of things that need doing at home!

FB - great news the flight went well, not so great news that you are all sick! glad everyone knows you news and you can be excited.
VB - I can only fit in trousers that are a size too big for me - not glamorous! I can feel a bump in the morning when I need a pee, it pushes my uterus out, I was the same with DD3 although I little further on.
I was surprised thought ot find I'd lost at least 4lb. I normally start losing weight earlier and also I've been eating crap!
MAMB - also glad everyone knows you news. My mam had guessed, she said she thought I was at xmas when I visited!

hijack alert - stace, wanted to say big congrats hon, been hoping you'd have some good news after following u when u started on the TTC boards and i'd just come off them (not a stalker honest! :o) lol. hope all goes well for u all girls!

northener, im so glad the bleeding has turned out to be nothing, my fingers are crossed that it will stop soon!

mower, it isnt just you, iv been in pg clothes since 5 weeks and when i went for my booking with docs at 9 weeks he was sure i was about 4 month and wanted to feel my tummy, then was surprised he couldnt feel the baby!!!

well got my midwife appointment next weds and now have my scan for next thurs! will be 12 +5 at scan, well that what i think i am. dp thinks its twins but i think its one little girl!!

i keep having really weird dreams as well, forgot that about being pg!! the other night i was talking and dp asked who i was talking to and i said the baby, he said shes asleep in bed and i replied, no the other baby, he said go to sleep and i said its a girl you know, shes got hair and is wearing a white dress with pink flowers on it.

how odd!!! lol oh well i dont mind what i have just want a healthy happy baby! must go dd is now awake from her much needed nap! will catch up again soon!

Northerner, fingers crossed for you, great news at your scan though, if they cant see a reason for the bleeding i should imagine everything will be fine.
I'd still not heard from my midwife today 2 weeks after seeing my GP so have called her, she hadn't even heard from my GP yet, how crap is that ! She is calling me back after clinic to arrange booking in.

My SIL has only just got her scan date through, she is 2 weeks ahead of me and she wont have her first scan until she is 16 weeks because there is such a long wait, i hope i don't have to wait that long :(
Feel awful today, really sick. Feel starving but evertime i eat something it makes me feel worse, roll on 12 weeks so this can go away !

Hope everyone else is well - and the morning sickness is diminishing..

I went and bought a belly belt today as my jeans are far too tight, but even the smallest fitting makes my jeans too big for me. So I have resigned myself to my old maternity trousers - can't believe I am in them already. People are beginning to ask me if I am pregnant - so I must be looking more pregnant and less like I ate too too many pies...

Can anyone tell me the timeframe that you can have a nuchal scan done - is between 11 and 13 weeks right? Also when I was pregnant with dd, I just had the scan, do you now need the blood test as well?
