Awwww, such lovely news! Congratulations Little :)

ValiumQueen · 11/10/2012 18:51

Oh good x I think of little Daisy often. do pass on our congratulations and well wishes x

YellowWellies · 11/10/2012 19:16

VQ and Pass I'm another CBA... I might wave a razor in the general direction but m'eh call me existentialist but I figure if I can't see the hair then it's not actually there Grin. I think given we've got pretty good odds of shitting ourselves during labour - fanjo fluff is the least of my worries.

Passmethecrisps · 11/10/2012 19:17

Aw tink that is fantastic news for them. I too, often think about little Daisy.

YellowWellies · 11/10/2012 19:20

Oh tink that's such lovely news. Pass on lots of love to little

Oh VQ 'it could be YOU next' eh? Come on team Catbag!!!!

Passmethecrisps · 11/10/2012 19:22

Ah yellow you are a lady after my own heart.

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/10/2012 19:32

Congrats to little fab news!

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 19:32

I'm off to get ready for work.

My last 4 shifts til next April.

I still don't wanna go though! It's dark outside!!!!

rowingdowntheriver · 11/10/2012 19:33

Ah, congratulations little.

Talking about waxing, I don't normally bother but feel a bit more comfortable with tidy lady bits when there will be a few people rooting around down there.

I booked in for a full leg and bikini wax last week but they couldn't do my legs as my hair wasn't long enough so I've to go back next week. My hair has been growing so slowly since I got upduffed.

My bikini line on the other hand was a different matter. They had to get the scissors out to give it a pre-wax trim Blush.

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 19:36

Oh bollocks, just realised I'm on labour ward tonight. Not ideal, as walking is a bit, um, sore still. I could do with being somewhere not too high risk! D'oh!

Oh well!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 11/10/2012 19:37

Hello VQ are you out there? Are you ok?
Xx

kirrinIsland · 11/10/2012 19:37

Congratulations to little - that's great news :)

I tried trimming with nail scissors the other day, with only a mirror as my guide, and I have to say, it was slightly scary! I couldn't quite coordinate the mirror image and got a bit worried i'd cut more than just hair so I abandoned my attempts and will crack open the veet a bit nearer to d-day!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 11/10/2012 19:37

Oh, I see you.

Great news about Little that was fast work to get preggers so quickly.

Pass my (head) hair has got noticeably thicker so I'm going to wait until after the birth to get it cut to make me feel better when all the extra hair starts coming out again.

We had duck and pancakes instead of spare ribs and the boys went crazy for them. We'll have to get two lots next time. I feel very indulgent for having a takeaway on a school night! The pork chops can go in the freezer. Grin

My DS1 has ADHD and Aspergers which is why he gives me all the trouble. If this next one has ADHD as well I'm going to ask for a refund! Wink It's a 1 in 4 chance of ADHD, 1 in 5 of autism but there's no point fretting about it, just have to wait and see. At least if we have another child with special needs we know what we're doing this time. DS1 was diagnosed with ADHD at 5 and Aspergers at 8. Before the diagnosis we thought all kids were like that, the inlaws assumed it was because we were bad parents! Once you have a diagnosis it shines a light on the past and you realise how much behaviour was due to the disorder. For example DS1 couldn't stand to be pushed around in the pushchair and would cry the whole time he was in it. Now we know he was crying because he wasn't getting enough stimulation but at the time it drove me round the bend.

Perhaps it is a 'north of the border' thing, due to it being colder?

I am sure detective is right that they are just grateful if it is clean

I am doing fine tonight. Half a dozen gripping-the-nearest-thing-to-stay-upright contractions, but nothing sustained. One thing I am not worried about is things developing fast, as my cervix don't open for no bugger!

Car seat ready, Moses basket ready, both bags packed, showered and hair wash had, blow job given (pretty spectacular one too I must say) so having a low alcohol beer, and chocolate, whilst watching series 5 of Dexter (hence BJ). Good times!

FatimaLovesBread · 11/10/2012 20:10

Aww Tinks Congrats to Little on the fab news Thanks

WRT waxing, I might give the long bits a trim but that's the most effort i'm making.

DH is watching Friends and it's pissing me off. It's the one where Rachel goes in to labour and it's just annoying. They snog and her water breaks so they just get up and go straight to hospital, no contractions nothing. She doesn't even have a wet skirt and she doesn't change her skirt or pants. Then when they get to hospital (in 7 minutes!!) all the gang arrive, she's had like what two contractions and they're all there at the hospital Confused
Just been ranting away to DH, i'm guessing he thinks i'm mad although he did comment on her remarkably dry tight skirt, probably just to placate me Grin

i've had another day of being uncomfortable at work but only 5 more to go, and they involve a 11am, a 11:30am, a 1pm and 2 3pm finishes so not too bad really

ShellyBobbs · 11/10/2012 20:12

Have you gone mad VQ? Blow job whilst having contractions?! Can't remember the last time I wanted anything that bad Grin

FatimaLovesBread · 11/10/2012 20:13

VQ i'm admiring the effort with the blow job!!
Unless you're meaning a hairdryer 'blow job' after the hair wash, then i'm slightly less impressed Grin

ShellyBobbs · 11/10/2012 20:13

Wonderful news for Little I am very pleased and wish her all the luck in the world, she certainly deserves it! For you little, congratulations Thanks

YellowWellies · 11/10/2012 20:21

VQ DH now thinks that spectacular oral sex is an essential part of early labour... his eyes nearly popped out at that post Shock

ValiumQueen · 11/10/2012 20:22

No, I do mean BJ of the intimate kind Shock Grin I now have a very happy husband. He is likely to be on bread and water for some time.

ValiumQueen · 11/10/2012 20:24

It was pretty spectacular! We rarely have a day off together without the weans.

FatimaLovesBread · 11/10/2012 20:24

Is it his birthday?! ConfusedGrin
