Oh, and forgot to add, head is fixed at brim of pelvis. :) Explains the pain! Birthing bastard ball did the job clearly!

Elizadoesdolittle · 11/10/2012 14:46

Glad you are home donna things always seem much better and easier when you're in your own environment.

I'm just back from having my wc jab and she did flu at same time. I can cancel my flu jab appointment which is handy. Went for a second viewing on a house and I think we may put an offer in. Going to be quite a cheeky one so I don't think it will be accepted but its a start.

Am very tired now so once I've done a few household chores I think I'll put cbeebies on for DD and have a rest.

Good luck vq but if you aren't ready for baby to come yet I hope it stays put for a bit longer.

ValiumQueen · 11/10/2012 15:06

I am ok now thank you ladies. Feeling a bit more accepting of things. Still getting pains but at top of bump now and back is a bit better now. What will be will be. I would like it if he came early tbh but he will come when he is ready, or in 14 sleeps.

detective you made me laugh. It could only happen to you!

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 15:09

Have you taken some analgesia? Make sure DH is running around after you. Rest woman!

Mmm, and yes, can only happen to me Hmm. Today can only get better? Right? RIGHT?!!!

Passmethecrisps · 11/10/2012 15:30

Glad you are feeling ok VQ.

detective that mental image really made me laugh.

I feel completely wabbit today. Don't know what's wrong with me.

Flowers and pressies are lovely horsey

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 15:35

Wabbit?? Confused What is this!

I've just recalled someone had a dream about my birth pool last night... off to see who is was.... and sorry!!!!!

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 15:37

Sophia It was you!! Haha!! I do apologise - I hope it wasn't a strange dream (stranger than dreaming about a birth pool anyway!)

Passmethecrisps · 11/10/2012 15:50

Wabbit is a word for a bit lacking in energy and a touch fed up. Generally a bit meh.

It's a word used in parts on Scotland.

Currently watching Flash Forward on Love Film

Brockle · 11/10/2012 16:04

Fingers crossed your DS decides to stay put for a while VQ but at least you have a bit of a warning that he may decide to pop out a bit early.

I think you have described me perfectly pass as that is exactly how I feel. Spent the afternoon snoozing whilst watching X men. Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy in the same movie is film heaven for the Brockle.

MW and consultant can't decide whether DS3 is breach or not. Hopefully should have an anwer at 36 weeks. Until then I shall be bouncing on the gym ball and trying some spinning babies techniques just in case Smile

horseylady · 11/10/2012 16:04

Detective - you could have been chain smoking....

Yes very lovely!! I feel very lucky!! Will take a photo I think!!

TiAAAAARGHo · 11/10/2012 16:07

Ooooooo VQ! :)

Excitement for me today is that my TENS machine arrived Grin. I might test it a bit on DH...

Sophiathesnowfairy · 11/10/2012 16:11

detective it was me! Was a weird night Confused

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 16:12

I dunno, might have been a nicer site than me sweating past myself avec tits hanging out Hmm Grin

I now have another reason to moan at DP. Due to his procrastination his car insurance has gone up by £76 for the year because he didn't take it out last week when I told him to do it... He still hasnt done it, I just did it for him because it is due on Tuesday....

MissMummy1 · 11/10/2012 16:17

Left my phone and laptop upstairs in my office. Totally forgot I was bidding on some lovely bundles of next baby clothes, got distracted and was outbid by 50p on each one. Arghh! So annoyed with myself!!

Ucky yucky pissy rainy day here. Trying to summon the energy to go and get ready for meeting a client this evening. Totally cba. Might suggest skyping from now on (although I'd probably still have to get out of my jammies!) I'm doing 3 hrs a week tutoring now and down to 5 hrs contact time with my other clients and the rest of the time I can get away with nesting and timewasting working from home, so I really have nothing to complain about Sad.

MissMummy1 · 11/10/2012 16:21

Detective men are useless! I am now in control of all paperworky adminy things relating to the cars/house as he is a nightmare for putting it off and costing us money. and I'm an over-organised control freak. Car insurance and tax up on the landrover at the end of the month and mot expires next month so his only responsibility is to get it sold/scrapped. He's had since august. No doubt I will end up having to deal with that too! Damned if we're forking out any money to keep it - right now I would PAY someone to take it away!!!

NervousAt20 · 11/10/2012 16:44

Popped to tesco and there's a Halloween display with a real coffin in it Shock I think it's terrible to have in the middle of tesco

GTbaby · 11/10/2012 16:57

Just had a growth scan. All good. 7.5lbs! That's a big baby for 37 weeks. Blush being sent home but need daily monitoring. Least I can go home n have a nice shower. Ill have to do my own eye brows Sad. N legs will have to stay hairy without a wax. But my bits hurt to much for that!

ShellyBobbs · 11/10/2012 17:03

Lovely to hear from you Donna

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/10/2012 17:06

I'm hoping to go for eyebrow/ bikini wax at about 37/ 38 weeks. Really hope I make it I haven't seen my lady bits in months, caught sight in the mirror earlier while wearing pants and could see way too much hair for my liking!

kirrinIsland · 11/10/2012 17:17

I've got an eyebrow wax, eyelash tint and haircut booked for 38 weeks. I know I should also have a bikini wax but I am a wuss and I'm not sure I can face it.

GT that is anreally good weight for 37 weeks. Glad you're being allowed home - enjoy your shower!

nervous I agree, there is something very wrong about that :(

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 17:22

I don't think I could ever allow wax down there... I by down there, I mean anywhere! Big wimp!

I'll just veet, soon as my nights are over and done!

TheDetective · 11/10/2012 17:23

DS isn't talking to me Hmm because he got 6/20 in his spellings. And I dared to ask him why....

I think the hormones are catching!

Titsalinabumsquash · 11/10/2012 17:36

Ins trained beauty therapist and even I don't allow wax near my bits, I've seen things go very wrong during bikini waxing

horseylady · 11/10/2012 17:37

Is everyone waxing?!!! I've never had bikini wax before!! Should I have one??!! Going to get hair done next week I think. I can still shave (ish) that area!! Would they find it odd to do a pregnant lady?! I realise how odd this sounds lol but is it the done thing!!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 11/10/2012 17:43

I have booked in in for bikini and full leg wax at 38 1/2 weeks. If only to stop feeling lazy about not doing it while I wait for the hair to grow long enough.
