Good tits thinking of you x

applepieinthesky · 14/10/2012 13:15

Good luck tits and gt

I can't wait to meet my baby and see what he looks like. Hoping its not for another 2-3 weeks though because I still have so much to do around the house. DP told me not to overdo it and he will help when he's home but I need a nice clean sparkly house now. It's driving me mad and I can't relax until it's done. Now taking the dog for a walk then making lunch, picking DP up then finishing the kitchen. Hopefully by the time I check back in gt will have her baby Smile

SwissArmyWife · 14/10/2012 13:22

Good luck gt try your best to be relaxed :)

catbag at least something has been happening! Shouldn't be long now hopefully.

As for me, nothing has happened today really, lost a bit of mucous this morning but haven't had any more contractions so hopefully he'll be staying put for now!

StuntNun · 14/10/2012 14:25

Three hour nap with the dog and the cat! Honestly I don't know why I'm so tired. Obviously it's because I'm pregnant but I slept for eight hours last night with only one trip to the loo so it seems a bit much to need another three hours. Hmm I did have the two vaccinations on Friday so maybe I'm making loads of antibodies or something. I'm waiting for my arms to erupt into lumps or swell up but so far they're just a bit achy where the needles went in. If anyone's still to have them, the injection quantity is tiny so they're not to sore. The last one I had was the swine flu vaccine which was a big injection and quite sore, these two were a walk in the park. I used to have a needle phobia (apparently I saw something scary on telly when I was small) so I'm always very proud of myself for not screaming and running away.

Hope things are going smoothly for you GT. Please try to relax and squeeze your DH's hand tight when they're doing internals or gels. When my kids have to have anything unpleasant done to them I tell them to squeeze my hand as much as it hurts so I'll know what it feels like. It gives you something else to concentrate on at the time.

Hope things are going well gt and everything's ok with you and bubba tits

Just got home from my mums, ds has fallen asleep on the floor and I'm sitting on the sofa in my pants watching my belly move around Grin

Lilliana · 14/10/2012 16:03

Hope everything is ok tits.

GT tell away, especially if it helps. Thinking of you today.

DH I can spend hours watching my belly. Could feel a foot yesterday :)

Catbag, sorry you have been down and hope things happen soon.

Had hardly any sleep last night - stupidly went on the treadmill (only walking pace) and ended up with my hips hurting before I even got to bed. Not a good night for me or DH. Currently having a chilled afternoon and planning a soak in the bath with lavender before bed so hopefully I will get some sleep tonight.

Titsalinabumsquash · 14/10/2012 16:03

Hello Smile

We're both fine, junior was asleep but they scanned him and I was on the monitor for 30 mins, his heartbeat is also good.
I was having contractions so they examined me but said cervix is firmly shut.
Baby is fully engaged though but turned ROA.
Still getting a lot of pain down below but they said its just where he is so low down and I have an irritable uterus as well as the rest of me happy now I know he's ok though. :)

ValiumQueen · 14/10/2012 16:13

Good news tits

lilliana are you mad?? A treadmill is not a good thing at this stage. Do take care.

DesperateHousewife21 · 14/10/2012 16:18

That's good tits maybe things aren't going to be too long for you.

YellowWellies · 14/10/2012 16:22

Great news tits I've got an irritable uterus rest of me too and have been having some cracking contractions with it. Good luck to you GT, try to focus on coping mechanisms and distractions rather than panicking about the next contraction. You'll be awesome!

Catbag I was thinking about you earlier and thinking she's been quiet for a few days - maybe she's in labour. Hope it kick starts properly asap.

Just been for a walk with DH and am having lots of pain in my cervix and another explosive bum moment. It seems when baby's head really engages my body gets ready to kick start things. All seems fine now though. Can't believe am 35 weeks tomo and have another scan to look forward to this week!

Stunt ta for the snack suggestions, much appreciated.

Oh and all of you ladies in your pre-preggo jeans, I fear we must be carrying very differently - my 27 inch pre-preggo waist has been replaced by a 42 inch one - there's not a chance any non-maternity trousers will fit!!!! Shock

horseylady · 14/10/2012 16:53

5 cookies....50p in m&s. Yum!! Tea sorted and about the only gluttonous thing I've done in pregnancy lol!! I'll actually just eat one then send the rest in to dh work!! We've done the hospital trial run today and made sure he can fit the car seat into the car!! I've been at work now just watching the kid who had my pony ride my big horse and will go home for tea!! Loving this weather very much!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 14/10/2012 17:16

Wow 50p is a bargain! Love m&s food it's sooo yummy!

ValiumQueen · 14/10/2012 17:27

horsey when I saw about the cookies, I double checked the poster, and it was you! Shock hope you enjoyed it/them!

kirrinIsland · 14/10/2012 17:41

Glad everything is ok tits

Titsalinabumsquash · 14/10/2012 17:48

They were very quick and efficient on the labour ward, I was honestly surprised!
It was spotless and has been completely refurbished.
We heard a first cry as well (which DP did a dopey grin over)

Still feels like the little belly dweller is burrowing out of my fanjo though. Ouch!

MissMummy1 · 14/10/2012 17:50

I got a box of choccie biccies in m&s yesterday for £1 when I was paying for fuel.

Debating dinner tonight. Tesco finest meal deal, nandos or a chippy tea (not my first choice but apparently him indoors has sympathy cravings..)

horseylady · 14/10/2012 17:56

Vq still not eaten any yet lol prob won't I'll just look at them!! There's no room inside me??!!

horseylady · 14/10/2012 18:08

Mm I'm having roasted vegetables!!!!! No yorkshire pudding though :( ran out of plain flour :(

Sophiathesnowfairy · 14/10/2012 18:18

I just had a chippy tea.

TheDetective · 14/10/2012 18:25

I'm having profiteroles and cream for breakfast in bed!!!

Then pizza for afters! Grin

DesperateHousewife21 · 14/10/2012 18:31

We had homemade soup and bread, needed something healthy I feel like I've eaten so much crap recently!

TheDetective · 14/10/2012 18:37

I can now only lie on my right side/stomach, baby objects in extreme measures to anything on the left side... Does it not understand that left is better for it! Silly baby!

Last shift tonight. I am overjoyed but terrified in equal measures! Overjoyed because I am exhausted now and I haven't got much more left in me to give! Terrified because I'll miss it terribly like a boil on the bum! and my colleagues who I won't see for months now! It's like a security net will be removed! I don't live that close to work really so I probably won't see any one :(

I'm going to be so bored til I decide baby can arrive Grin

We are getting a Chinese in work tonight and ive got a big chocolate cake to take! Today the only one of my five a day I will see will be the tomato base on my pizza!!!! Does that count ;)

YellowWellies · 14/10/2012 18:43

I feel really bad for stressing about DMIL and DFIL coming up and gatecrashing immediately after the baby. I've just been on the phone with them, and they have suggested coming up in the New Year and helping us move house instead rather than piling straight up here after the birth - as 'you'll want a special few weeks as a wee family'. Bless them. Am Shock. We've got firm instructions on skypeing asap though so they can see the wee one - which I reckon we can handle!

kissyfur · 14/10/2012 18:49

Glad all is ok tits

Hope you are getting on well GT

Roast chicken dinner for us for tea tonight, with homegrown beet root and leeks Smile

horsey how can you look at a bag of cookies and not eat one?!

horseylady · 14/10/2012 19:09

Quite easily!! Am full, there's no roomfor cookies :( I wasn't born with a desert belly. I am so envious of people who are!!! Dh and his biscuit club will enjoy them tomorrow though!! I'll save one too!
