Stacey Sorry to hear you're not doing so well. I'm getting Braxton Hicks too and earlier than I did with the other 2, but they're not really bothering me, I'm just trying to readjust to the feeling.

Utopian You can buy special chairs for the gym balls to go in, like this Could you talk your boss into providing one of these? I had a new chair when I was pregnant, after I got stuck in my story time chair my TA had to drag me off it.

Had a lovely talk about how big my bump will get with my boys tonight. I had to get ds2 to lean out of bed for a kiss as I can't reach across the cabin bed now. I told him it will only get bigger and he'll have to lean out further. He was fascinated and made me give a demo of how big I'll be with his teddy up my top. Tomorrow we're going to check the baby book to see how heavy the baby is and weigh it out so they can see. Maybe I'll make DH carry it around, so he can 'share' the experience My bump has definitely grown, when I make the kids sandwiches I end up with a line of crumbs across my bump.

Dd felt the baby kick today (ds said he did but he didn't keep his hand still enough)

Hi all, been lurking for a few days feeling a bit rubbish. Still so exhausted (see post here for my extended moan) and have become an expert at picking fights with DH, much to his annoyance. But, i my defense, when they say 'don't do that, i'll do it' and then proceed to not do said job, watch you do it and then say 'i was going to do that in a minute' it is really annoying!

Re: BH - i've def been getting the tightening but then i've quite often been getting a strong stitch-like pain on the right hand side which lasts a few mins at a time but not necessarily at the same time as the tightening. Is that BH, or something different?

Also drinking/weeing gallons. Just downed a whole pint of orange squash (that's going to be fun in the night!) I did swim a mile earlier though! Don't know what came over me as I have been an exhausted wreck all week! Think babba got a good rest as now she's going crazy in there, when I put the remote on my belly just now the whole thing shook and nearly fell off with her thumps!

Hi ladies, can I join? Have been lurking since the very first 'early POAS-ers' thread but have been too worried about jinxing this .
I'm now 24 weeks, due on the 6th of December with dd1. So far pregnancy has been very uneventful ( no morning sickness even)..
Have quite a visible bump now so constantly get fussed over at work by everyone:) Nice to finally 'meet' you all :)

mwah tired all the time until it's bedtime and I ping back to life.
Viewing went really well but there's been loads of interest and they're giving the owners final say on which tenant we choose. We're a bit worried since I don't work and DP hasn't been in his job too long they'll choose someone else.

Arrrr feeling so stressed right now dh has just told me his works christmas do has been booked for 10th december and i know already thatvi cant trust him not to get drunk :( now i feel like im going to stress about this for the next 4 months :(

Random post but I am watching 'the last exorcism' on ch4 and I'm seriously freaked out! Anyone else terrified??? No sleep for me tonight (nowt to do with bubba either!)

I also get really strong braxton hicks and backache much earlier than with previous pregnancies but for me I'm just assuming my body has had to do this 4 times before so it's probably just had enough!

Baby has been moving lots today and my belly actually moves now which the dc's are fascinated with I'm also noticing my bump catches crumbs or I'm starting to stand a little back from things.

elliebelle I would feel the same about that - sorry, can't remember if its no 1 for you? If so your dh may well feel much less blase about it nearer the time and you could definitely try and arrange a friend to be with you then (though id be making a fuss) but that might be enough for him to want to be with you? have to say things like that worried me with my DH but I can't believe how much he is 'changing his ways' at mo. I spent Xmas 5 years ago with a pregnant friend who's DH was on call (though I now realise she was only about 4 months and I'm not sure why!)

YY to the raging thurst. Think it got even worse with DS - remember popping out of work a lot to stock up on water. Suppose it's all the extra blood we need (not very technical explanation )

I think the stitch like pain is the ligaments stretching (if I remember from last ds) it can be quite sore too!

elliebelle have you spoken to your hubby about it and explained you're worried & why? Not sure I'd be delighted with that (I'm due 13th though so v close, when are you due?)

We are going to a wedding in late nov and DH has actually volunteered not to drink, shock! Tell your bloke that ;)

It took me nearly four hours to get home from work tonight as I had to call the AA out... Once I'd called them I basically sat in my car (in the layby) and cried like a baby! Hormones, wonderful things...

Had a crap night's sleep - we've got friends staying for a few days which is lovely but the kids are all awake from about half five and their idea of whispering is not the same as mine!

Sorry to those having crap sleep I've been ok last few nights so hopefully you will get some rest soon.

Just got stuck behind an accident on the way to work not very nice hope they're ok. I managed to go another way but I'm the only one in the while business park where I work! Ds was kicking away the whole time too!

I haven't suffered with raging thirst. But I've always drunk lots anyway...

I also get the stabbing pain in the right hand side! Right down near where bump meets sort of hip/top of leg... It really bugs me because it happens so randomly. The first few weeks of stretching I could accept... But will it ever end??

Just weighed myself and put on another few pounds in a week. Seriously this weight gain needs to piss off. Dreading what MW will say next week.

Has anyone got an anterior placenta too?I have ,its annoying as movemnets are erratic,some days i feel loads then others nothing,little sausage is breech also so feel like im getting kicked in the foof lol

anterior placenta here but have had lots of movement, getting stronger and more disturbing.

with all you weighing yourselves i thought i would too, my scales are in kilos but my mind works in stones - i thought an extra 8 kilos didn't sound too much (head was associating pounds) but having run an online conversion i'm now disturbed. no wonder my hips and back are hurting so much they keep me awake at night. no more
