Bellaboo123 · 30/07/2012 18:13

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 30/07/2012 18:22

cod wow bet you're excited!!

willyou sorry my brain doesn't work lol mine was on the printed report not the picture

More cravings....lots of cheese (that's not a problem except I'd quite like some Brie and Camembert), and pickled onions which I don't like so now I'm stuffing those and tomatoes that I don't like but the baby obviously does!! Lol

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2012 18:30

Stacey I've eaten nearly a whole block of Mexicana cheese in two days! I have chunks of it on posh cherry tomatoes!

Willyoudothefandango · 30/07/2012 18:34

No probs Stacey I struggle to keep up with these threads!

Congrats COD, how exciting!

Mummycox · 30/07/2012 18:51

eggs i know what you mean, am trying not to buy anything until the middle of sept when we are about 28 weeks, still cautiously optimistic even at 22 weeks. May have accidentally bought a sleep suit when we found out baby's flavour. The wish list keeps growing though.

Welcome 4mrs

Mummycox · 30/07/2012 18:51

And congrats cod...

Pressed button too early

Cookiesandcream06 · 30/07/2012 19:05

Massive congratulations COD, you must have been so convinced you were having a blue one. Shock to the extreme!

Oh and my report from my scan had the three graphs and then a scale one which was more clear to interpret.

MyDaydream · 30/07/2012 19:15

Wow congratulations COD, must have been a big shock for you.
Most of our family have agreed to buy a big thing, we're slowly chipping away at the pram, but we're pretty much done with our list. We're holding back on first toys until post birth, or at least post Christmas to see if we can get anything cool in the sales. I'm sure my newborn baby won't be demanding play gyms and bouncy chairs to start with.
Had a really nice weekend seeing family, popped into my mums and she was looking after my step sisters boys who are very noisy, made me a bit scared for when my lovely baby will grow up into a child who doesn't own a toy that doesn't make noise!

ellliebelle · 30/07/2012 19:27

weejo i am also a geek and very bored (dh and i still not really talking so trying to keep busy :() so i have updated stats list (hope no one minds) i have also added you 4mrs and we now have 54 babies due

:)

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2012 19:31

Ooo girls taking over!

Anyone else got a really hairy tummy?! Blush Grin

Cookiesandcream06 · 30/07/2012 20:06

No spotty but a really itchy one! Confused highly worried my first new stretch marks could be closer than feared ...

PrunellaDeVille · 30/07/2012 20:07

wow elllie you must have done some serious past thread research to have added all that data, nice one.
glad to see the teams evening out.
even though i'm on team surprise i am longing to find out - have agreed with the MW that she'll find out the heart rate for me ASAP for it to be reliable so i can at least have an incling, i'll try not to tell DH my suspicions though as he's the one who wants a surprise.

spotty yeah, a downy tummy here too

COD that's awesome news

PrunellaDeVille · 30/07/2012 20:08

cookies is an itchy tummy a sign of impending stretch marks??? argh

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2012 20:09

Oh I dread the itchy tummy, maybe I won't get it this time

MyDaydream · 30/07/2012 20:11

ellie, sorry to hear about you and your husband. Hope you both work it out soon.
Spotty, I noticed my hairy tummy yesterday, my body hair is very fine blonde and I was looking down and was very shocked! I also can't see underneath my tummy any more unless I look in a mirror.

Willyoudothefandango · 30/07/2012 20:12

Me Spotty I had to shave it the morning of my scan as I was too embarrassed to get it out otherwise. It is horrid. Also today I noticed several chin hairs Shock I actually cried!

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2012 20:18

Haha Willyou! They have seen it all before!

MyDaydream that's your body's way of not letting you see the stretch marks until after the baby is born Wink

SpottyTeacakes · 30/07/2012 20:22

If anyone is looking for a breast pump I've been recommended this it's cheaper than the Medela and apparently better. Have also been told not to buy Medela Swing second hand as there is a fault meaning it can't be sterilised properly

Willyoudothefandango · 30/07/2012 20:25

Spotty not mine they've not! Also the sonographer walked past my house with her dog yesterday and said "Didn't I scan you on Friday?" If I hadn't she might have said "Didn't I scan your big hairy belly on Friday?!" Grin

Willyoudothefandango · 30/07/2012 20:39

Would anyone be able to post or pm me the necessities list that someone posted on a much earlier thread?

I can't find it anywhere.

Willyoudothefandango · 30/07/2012 20:41

I mean the things you need to buy list

Cookiesandcream06 · 30/07/2012 20:41

prunella I remember itching loads last time round and it usually meant I was stretching ive lathered myself in bio oil in the hope I'm just over reacting. I had a lot of stretchmarks last time and I can't imagine getting even more over the top?!

Ladies who have more than 2 children.. Did you get like extra ones on top in second/third pregnancies?!

MyDaydream · 30/07/2012 20:53

I keep getting DP to check. There's a full length mirror in his computer room so I wander in after a shower, look at my belly then turn round going "am I getting bigger? Are my boobs getting bigger? Am I getting stretch marks? Is my belly line there yet? Are you sure I'm not getting bigger" This is accompanied with lots of belly prodding and pulling while he pretends he's listening to me.

pmgkt · 30/07/2012 21:14

willyou, i have a scar on my chin from a bike accident and i do have a chin hair that comes out of there every few months, but at the moment its every few days, i have resorted to keeping tweezers in my car in case i only notice it when im out!
