honey congrats on DP's job! a glass of wine is definatly needed!

Mwa first shoes how cute :)

mwahmwah · 21/07/2012 18:43

Aw I know littlemiss, they r ridiculously cute. Wots not so cute is him lying on my bed squeezing out farts and giggling, even at a young age he emulates his father. MEN! Xxx

mwahmwah · 21/07/2012 20:51

Watching maternity ward... A poor woman been induced for 3 days knowing she will give birth to a stillborn baby. Surely there is a more sensitive way to deal with that. My heart broke for her. Makes you look at your own kids and thank god.

itsMYNutella · 21/07/2012 20:59

Mwah I am now imagining a full grown Mr Mwah laughing like a toddler at his own emissions... but then my DP isn't much better... I remember early on he tried to claim he had trodden on a frog Grin that really made me LOL!

Daydream I was really shocked when they came up the stairs with the buggy (2nd floor)
And in the end they wheeled it around our hallway and then put it in the office. Everything is tiled but I will be having words with DP.

I thought on most buggies you can lift off the baby bit that they might sleep in?? Are there some you can't??

HoneyMum21 · 21/07/2012 22:14

I've got a really painful foot - feels bruised and looks swollen all along the bone from my big toe to my ankle. It's stiffening up so getting really hard to moved big toe. Can anyone hazard a guess as to whether this is pregnancy related thing or more random? I would try deep heat or something but I don't think I can use it while pregnant. Tried calling nhs direct but they are only dealing with emergency cases this evening so to try tomorrow. I haven't knocked it or anything it's really bizarre but it hurts a lot and I'm feeling sorry for myself.

Bubbless · 21/07/2012 22:20

mwah- that sounds horrific, there has to be a better way to do it? :(

honey- my foot did that when i had broken it, but BOY did i know it was broken.. so if your not in crippling agony e.g. i needed oxygen because i couldnt breathe through it! Hmm then hopefully it isnt broken!? if nhs dont offer advice in the morning go to a and e!!

TMI alert- anyone else finding that their nipples are constantly erect?! its killing me, and so painful, and DP seems to think that the way to fix it is sex... im not convinced Grin Blush

ellliebelle · 21/07/2012 22:20

Ive just seen on fb that a friend of a friend had har baby today 3lb 4oz im pretty sureshe wasnt due till late october theres a pic of baby and she is sooooo tiny

nutella i dont peraonally know of any push chair where there is a bit you can take off for baby to sleep in that would be big enough for nearly 1 year old. But surely they could have brought a travel cot or something, and not trail dirty buggy wheels all over your house

CODwidow · 21/07/2012 22:23

Well I think the nesting has officially started I spent 3 hours today scrubbing my house and of course knackering myself out! But just had that overwhelming urge to clean.

Bump is most certainly showing itself now and I finally look pregnant rather than fat which is nice apart from when it comes to bending Grin only 9 more sleeps til scan day soo excited and a little nervous.

Oh well hope everyones enjoyed the sun today and all caught up on some rest Smile

MyDaydream · 21/07/2012 23:29

Nutella when my friends little one was 1 we just wedged him into our bed with cushions/duvet and kept checking on him and he was fine for a few hours over dinner. If I was your friends Id at least offer to sweep.
Bubbles my nipples are always visible and if it's even a little cold I feel like I'm being stabbed.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 22/07/2012 08:11

Morning everyone! I hope everyones feeling ok today. Had a manic day yest with 2 parties then had to have a 2 hr nap Grin

My kids go for a week with their dad tomo morning Sad I am not a happy bunny!! (although it means I can decorate ds's room for him so he can move In next week.

FriendofDorothy · 22/07/2012 09:09

I have got several insect bites which are driving me nuts. Does anyone know if it is ok to use Antisan?

EggsMichelle · 22/07/2012 09:09

Good Morning! I'm willing myself to get up and go to work. Whenever I turn up at the weekend I get the funniest looks, and get told to go home after an hour, but I do have so work to do so will keep out of everyone's way!

Had a BBQ last night, we love them, so now I have a massive pile of cooked meat in the fridge which I doubt will last until tomo!!!

My nipples are also driving my crackers, the hurt in an itchy kind of way and look a bit cracked. DH also things the solution involves him playing with them, it's not happening!

SpottyTeacakes · 22/07/2012 09:52

Not sure about Anthisan, you might have to google? I think most of them are fine after first trimester.

We're off to Frensham Ponds today. It's just a big pond with sand round it Smile if dp ever gets ready Hmm

itsMYNutella · 22/07/2012 14:11

Ellie it is more like a travel system I guess, it had a big thing on it where the kid can lay flat & sleep, all the things I've looked at that are similar the carry cot / car seat part lifts off.
Daydream we have loads of pillows and wedging a child in the middle of our 2m x2m bed would not have been a problem.
What I found extra rude was they never even asked/apologised. Anyway, DP and I had a massive row afterwards- I always moan about these "friends", they just aren't my friends Confused and DP also finds them a bit hard work. Also found out they have never let anyone babysit Shock. Apparently the baby isn't ready yet. Seriously a whole year and not even one evening "off"?!

Anyway, enough. I will duly take my buggy with me next year for a visit and repay the favour.

So, I believe today's topic is nipples? :o I love the word, it might be childish but it makes me smile just to say it. I was thinking about how they are permanently present at the moment. Although I'm also very lucky, they are sensitive but not too sore. I'm massaging body butter into them when I remember do my tummy hips, thighs, bum

honeytea · 22/07/2012 16:46

Hello :) it's me littlemissbroody, I have name changed as I am no longer broody im pregnant so the name didn't make much sence. I have no imagination so named myself after the tea I was drinking honeytea (it's amazing my dutch friend britngs it back from the netherlands for me) but now i have realised we allready have a honey, so you can call me tea if that is ok :)

nipples! it is a funny word, in swedish they call nipples brest warts, not very sexy! mine are super sensertive and have gone brown, like they are tanned, usually they are pink so it's a bit odd having them brown, when it 1st happened i washed them hard thinking it was dye leeking from my vest or something.

my DP felt the baby kick last night, it was a massive kick i could see it, so nice he has felt it now :)

Wild mushroom soup for dinner, we went out picking mushrooms yesterday. I have made my first ever carrot bread, not tasted it yet but i'm hoping it's yum!

Maazaa · 22/07/2012 17:07

Hi everyone - having been through lots of threads to find you, I feel I am a bit of a latecomer??! Can I join or would that be rude?

Am due 15th December (added self to stats thread) with second child!

HoneyMum21 · 22/07/2012 17:21

welcome Maazaa

SpottyTeacakes · 22/07/2012 17:43

Welcome Maazaa

My nipples are quite sensitive to touch but otherwise no different apart from the two hairs that have appeared from them Blush

honeytea · 22/07/2012 17:44

welcome maazaa :)

PurplePidjin · 22/07/2012 17:53

Hello, Maazaa!

I just swam half a mile dp's cooking steak for dinzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

EggsMichelle · 22/07/2012 19:06

Welcome Maazaa!

Spotty, hairy nipples are a historical issue for me, TMI but they pluck out very easily! My nipples have now started to crack and peal, I'm sure that's not meant to happen already.

This afternoon iv pruned my lavender and mint bush, both had gone wild but luckily lavender freezes and I'm going to try to make mint sauce (finger crossed). Tomorrow I'll taken on the rosemary.

Maazaa · 22/07/2012 19:16

Thank you for the welcome!

ISpyPlumPie · 22/07/2012 19:31

Hi hope everyone is having a good weekend. Welcome Mazza.

Went to first aquanatal class today - really enjoyed it. I don't do nearly enough exercise so was a bit worried I wouldn't keep up, but it was absolutely fine. Everyone was really nice and the mw running it spent loads of time chatting about our birth plans etc.

Re the nipple thing: it's driving me potty too. They're just so ...prominant all the time, and itchy too. Don't recall it being so annoying last time!

StrawberrytallCAKE · 22/07/2012 19:33

Honey congratulations to your dp on the job, hope you had that glass of wine!! Careful with your foot it sounds painful.

We've been clearing out the house today ready to move on Friday this week and all of our things in the cellar have mould all over them :( lots of dd's clothes are ruined and an old pictionary game which our family used to play and has lots of drawings from my dad in and he died in 98, although it sounds a bit silly is really precious to me. Absolutely can't wait to move though, our new house is smaller, cheaper and easier to clean!!!! This house is a big old farmhouse and it smells and has infestations of insects and mice.

I have measured my tummy and I am maybe a couple of cm larger than I should be for my dates but being 5"11 I'm bound to be a bit out, can't wait to find out what is going on in my body on Tuesday!! I can't bring myself to look at more baby clothes or prams because I'm worried about the little baby in my tummy. Bloody hell I can't wait until I can post a lovely uplifting update on here Grin.

Hope you are all ok, I'm off to read aibu to get some of my stress out...

Cookiesandcream06 · 22/07/2012 19:49

Welcome Mazza Smile better late than never Smile

Hope everyone has had a lovely day enjoying the sunshine. Took DD down to the beach in Bournemouth she had such a lovely time . Absolutely shattered.

Lots of nipple talk I see Grin mine have calmed down loads now and I don't think they're any darker.. Yet.

Was it your DP honey with good work news? (memory, yet again!) if so, Yey Yey Yey.

Sad sunstroke Sad
