tits I get that too :( I think it's all the stretching and growing.

The new batman film is good if anyone's going to see it, it's v long though. We were in there 3 hours inc adverts, had a sore bum at the end!

NervousAt20 · 21/07/2012 18:42

Just got my Emma's diary pack and there's hardly anything in it, a sample of coco butter and stretch mark cream and some breast pads and fruit then like 5 pieces of paper Hmm rubbish

Glad your happy with your pram tits

capedcrusader25 · 21/07/2012 19:28

tits I'm the same today - it's so painful :( Desperate I saw it last night but agree with you, was hard to keep comfy! Made sure I had an aisle seat though so I could stretch my legs out a bit more.
Hope everyone is well :) I'm not having a birth plan, or planning on going to any classes. Nor am I buying any books! Blush Writing that seems bad. My mum got me a huge book from conception to early years though which has been helpful as a reference and I'm sure I'll keep on using it as it's straightforward, friendly and interesting :)

TitsalinaBumSquash · 21/07/2012 19:54

I saw Batman today, probably the reason I'm achey, cinema seats are not comfortable!
I find it funny in the cinema though, we have the unlimited cards so we'll go to see pretty much anything, when something is loud and low (explosions etc) little one jumps about like mad. Grin

Lilliana · 21/07/2012 20:19

Nervous I found the same with the Emma's Diary packs. Think people have said that none of the packs are as good as they used to be!

Sorry to people that are hurting but good news about Batman as I have promised DH I will go and see it with him - might splash out on the expensive comfy seats though.

Have started writing a birth plan - after thinking I didn't have much to say I have already written more than 1 side of A4! DH Thank you for posting it again. Mine is much less detailed and I have no clue about some of what you have written - it has given me a few things to do some research about though

capedcrusader25 · 21/07/2012 20:58

Tits my little one was exactly the same for about the last 20-30 minutes of Batman with all the loud bangs/noises. Amazing isn't it? She just would not stop, so I kind of sat with my arms wrapped all around my bump weirdly thinking I was somehow 'protecting' her from it!?? It also meant I was grinning like a knob when the film was at it's most intense! (I don't feel baby much, well not strongly anyway) Maybe that's why I'm so achey and in pain today then, silly cinema. Definitely recommend big squishy seats lilliana!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 21/07/2012 21:10

Where did you post your birth plan DH? I'd love to have a read, also did I read something about a fb group? Grin

GTbaby · 21/07/2012 23:34

tits the birth plan is on the FB group. To join PM dh21 n give her ur real name n description of ur photo. N she will add u. U can't add urself.

Waiting for DH in car while he picks up take away. So tiered. N I have a long drive tomorrow morning to visit family. Wana b home in bed :(

TitsalinaBumSquash · 22/07/2012 01:50

Thanks GT Smile

I'm awake at 1.45am, it's scorching here, DP has managed to smack me in the face several times in his sleep and DS2 has been up because he forgot to put the night light on again. DP is now breathing obnoxiously loud, I'm not in a good mood.

Unable to sleep my brain has gone into overdrive and my own little nesting bug has kicked in, I have a need to get up in the morning and throw half the contents of the house in the tip. Hmm
This is less odd if you know that we gave several big items of furniture that we just don't have space for and person after person keeps promising to collect after we have kindly given them these things for free but then have let us down (I'm talking a nearly new fridge freezer, large 3 door wardrobe) may I just say GRRRRRRR! AngrySad

Iheartpasties · 22/07/2012 02:21

I have little spurts of really 'needing' to nest, I washed down a mozzie/fly/bug mesh/screen for the window yesterday, and now I want to do them all. Two of them need repairing and I must get hold of the letting agent and tells them so they can get sorted out.

It's cold and wintery here today, it was yesterday. it feels funny as we have had a week of glorious sunshine so now it feels ectra cold!

I had a fab night out, three of us are pregnant and all due within a week of each other. The others girls are all great too, two of them are ttc. And one of them (who has three LO's) is praying for no more!!

I think I am 25 weeks on tuesday, I really cannot believe it. Somehow the weeks have all added up and crept up scarily fast. We are aiming to be good with money for the next week and then we can send some back to the UK (to pay off the overdraft, from when we were on holiday in the UK in April) and then I am really hoping we can decide what we want to buy for the new baby and save up for that. Once I am 6 months along I know I will be counting down to the birth and I will be desperate to get the cot up and get the pram and sort out all the other bits. I would love to do it all now, but DH is being sensilbe with the money. Bless him, its a good job as I would be buying up all sort of things on ebay!

DesperateHousewife21 · 22/07/2012 06:55

I haven't posted a birth plan! It was someone else sorry can't think who but it is on the fb group.
I wasn't necessarily going to have a birth plan, I didn't last time. I might just put I want to be as mobile as I can but other than that I don't mind.

ValiumQueen · 22/07/2012 07:40

*DH21 I have just messaged you about FB.

MissMummy1 · 22/07/2012 08:20

I think it was TheDetective who posted the birth plan?

DesperateHousewife21 · 22/07/2012 08:45

For anybody who isn't a member on the fb and wants to be you can search for the group 'Nov 12 Babies' and request to join and I'll accept you. It's an easier way of doing it now it's not a top secret group!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 22/07/2012 10:04

Not sure if anyone will be interested but I got a copy of mother and baby magazine and it had an offer in it. There is a new product see here that's meant to help in labour. It's RRP is £49.99 but if you input the code MAB01 at checkout you only have to pay delivery which is £3.99. I've ordered mine as I figured what the hell!!

ValiumQueen · 22/07/2012 10:17

izzy I thought it was going to be a tens machine, or big bottle of pills or vodka. Interesting concept, but I would prefer an epidural personally!

Lilliana · 22/07/2012 10:19

Oh bugger - sorry DH and Detective, haven't quite linked together RL names and MN names Blush

There is another November babies group that I nearly asked to join - so you don't make the same mistake our group has a picture of a bump with a flower on it.

Will have a look Izzy, thanks.

I'm hoping nesting kicks in soon as I have loads of cleaning and sorting that needs doing! DH seems to be nesting alreadt :)

ValiumQueen · 22/07/2012 10:19

With FB can I just check what others can see? I.e. my friends, and you guys? I guess in order for you to see my pages, we would need to do the whole 'friend request' thing and as far as I can tell, my friends cannot see my comments on the group? Please bear with me as I am very old... Technology baffles me.

Lilliana · 22/07/2012 10:21

Just looked - Valium I'm like you, I want the drugs!!! Grin

ValiumQueen · 22/07/2012 10:22

When I searched on FB I only had one option come up. So is that your tum DH21? it was fascinating seeing all the lovely bumps.

Lilliana · 22/07/2012 10:24

I don't think my friends can see my comments on the group page. I can only see what people here have written on the group page and whatever your security settings allow me to see (ie what you can see when you search for someone you are not friends with) I'm not terribly technical either so maybe don't trust me!

ValiumQueen · 22/07/2012 10:24

Drugs are great. The epidural, once it worked both sides that is, was awesome!

Passmethecrisps · 22/07/2012 10:25

valium that sounds about right. We have one at school for classes to use - they cannot see our pages, comments or friends (as long as we have taken off friends lists which I have) and we can't see theirs. All that can be seen is what you post on that group.

ValiumQueen · 22/07/2012 10:26

One of my clients is due in Nov too, and I am a bit nervous of her finding me, and seeing things I would not want her to see. I guess that is just me being a bit paranoid.

Passmethecrisps · 22/07/2012 10:30

valium just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!

I am very particular about online security for obvious reasons. A wee bit of caution is a good idea.
