Thought I'd start the new thread with Gwen's title now in case I fill the other one with my moaning.

I'll do the stats at a more normal time of day unless anyone else does it first.

Congrats Shelduck and Dairy glad to hear all is well with Special what a busy day for the thread.

Interestingly on the postnatal thread we're 9 for 9 but there are a few missing,think we're going to be well over on boys now

Oscar Morgan was born today at 16.40 weighing a dainty 5lb 13oz He is so cute and feeding well so far. I got away with a tiny graze and no stitches. Labour was pretty quick once I got here and gas n air got me through. Lots of strange things were said due to the gas n air, good stuff. They weren't sure when my waters had broken so as a precaution he has to have antibiotics for 48hrs then we have to stay in hosp for 24hrs after that. Wish I could go home earlier but I will be soon enough I guess.

Ooh, congratulations DN, I was so hoping it would keep going for you this time!

Lots of babies being born. Can someone add me to the list as never quite worked out how. Due second on 27th. No idea what it is only that it has been engaged since 36 weeks so hoping for an appearance before 42 weeks.

Think something is happening! Have had quite strong period type cramps constantly since about 8pm last night accompanied by equally strong back pain. It is pretty constant though, not coming in contraction type waves?! No idea what this means as I expected waves of pain with a break in between not constant pain! Oh well off for a nice warm bath as too painful to sleep through quite excited!

Hi all. Very pleased to say that William John arrived yesterday at 10.00am exactly! Weighs 8lbs 6.

Currently on an open ward and not getting much sleep. Woman next to me must be pressing the buzzer every 30mins! Im totally besotted though.

After 2 hours of contractions on monday night, when i thought we were going to end up in hospital a day early, arrived monday at 8am for scheduled section. Baby well and truly wedged in breech. Buddha stylee ended up being first on the list, wasn't really prepped in my head for that. Section went ok and I managed to get some great skin to skin immediately after he was born so was really pleased about that.

Fed straight away initially, but now being awkward , hoping we can get back on track soon. He seems very mucousy but I think that happens with section babies sometimes?

My DH has been brilliant so far.

William is asleep at the moment so going to try catch another 30 mins shuteye. Night all, hope everyone is moving along nicely x

Nothing happening here except my eyes pinged open at 3 am and now I'm wide awake!

hmmm not sure what to do with myself.. Cant sleep cx every 6 mins or so but they are not excruciating, but couldnt sleep through them. might bounce and sew inbetween! when do you call hosi, 3 in 10?

Hi surf yay for the contractions I'd ring your hospital now to let them know what's happening and at you're going to stay at home til it's 3 in 10 for a sustained period of time. They'll then confirm and say if there's anything else.
Get some paracetamol down you, bounce on the ball, use your TENS if you have one and breathe . Massive luck to you!

surf ours said to go in at 3 in 10 or before if you feel you aren't coping with the pain. I think give hosp a call and see what they say?

Is today going to be the day for babies? I've just had a show. No contractions yet but DS2 was born 12 hours after my show.

yay mck exciting! well mine seem to have stopped how odd after having such regular breath through ones... Good luck to you catch up after sleep i guess!

Amethyst how's it going? My first labour was constant strong backache with no break- didnt even know I was in labour. On way to hospital they then became 2 mins apart. So it sounds like it could v well be it but u posted last night so you'll prob know by now.
Surf sorry yours have stopped but hope u get some rest as they may start again soon!
Gwennie, u must be so relieved that your roof is being fixed. Hope its all finished soon for you.

My induction is booked for this afternoon- equally excited and nervous and gonna miss my sleep! So looking forward to new baby though. Ds has been talking about her coming for ages but now she's actually coming he doesnt seem too keen- he said he wants her to stay in!

I'm due tomorrow; not an awful lot going on here. DH spent last night whispering "come out" at my bump. Woke in the night with BHs but nothing more. Would be nice if he turned up on time but looking v unlikely.

Have a big list of things to do today. Will definitely try to make the most of the sunshine - might be the last we see of it for some time.

i am looking for my contractions... If you see them cld you send some over just have horrid period pain. wonder if i will make massage booked for 1230! How are you amethyst? mck any signs?
