We had three different agents out to value it at the beginning and went with the one that matched the home report price which seemed fair to us. We are in Glasgow... really finding it odd that a large 2 bed in the heart of the city isn't making it's home report price. We considered renting before got pg but the stress of all the becoming a landlord and whether or not to use a letting agent made us just decide to sell. Plus we wouldn't be able to afford a decent sized house if keeping this one too! House selling is so much more stressful than it was a few years back.

Oh no ishop ... have you been eating enough incase it is blood sugar related? :(

Lovemarmite · 12/06/2012 12:08

ishop me too, feeling a little more woozy than yesterday and quite faint. Started the iron supps and I know my food intake is okay although I'm not stuffing my face as usual Blush. Perhaps low blood pressure or just more baby growth and blood rushing to baby's needs?

Am thinking I might just have to take it easy (working!) today and trying to drink more water because I wake up feeling dehydrated but not sure how to fit in more liquid as I don't want to drink and eat too much as it makes me feel larger! Given up caffeine too (except a little choccy) and hoping it may help the not so fab digestion.

Ham hope the flat selling picks up soon. My parents were selling their place and had no viewings for a while and then a couple came round and offered full asking price out of the blue - and so I hope this will happen to you too!
Btw, my parents are bonkers as they then decided not to move Confused

Tomorrow, met office says 'cloud and sun' here - yippee!

Vinolover · 12/06/2012 13:16

Could it be your iron levels ishop? I keep getting bouts of dizziness (worse in the morning for some reason) and it turns out my iron levels are low which means I'm now on the iron supps too :( I really hate taking iron, or should I say iron doesn't like me! I also get really short of breath which is another symptom.

It turns out the bottom I had in my rib is actually his head! Certainly explains why it hurts so much when he jabs my hip because he's using boot! I'll be joining the others on all fours Wink. There's loads of time for him to shift downwards though so Im certainly not worried.

I've just collected the carseat and I absolutely love it!!! So excited Grin

lemonslemonslemons · 12/06/2012 14:01

I've been feeling faint too ishop. MW sent off my blood to get tested re iron. Keep having headaches and nosebleeds too Sad Pregnancy is so not glam!!

The3Bears · 12/06/2012 14:10

I've not been feeling faint but keep getting nosebleeds :( and feeling sick especially at night :(

vino I feel the movements alot more strongly near my ribs so thinking this might mean he is head down, im sure your little one will turn when he's ready ouch for your hips though. Yay to car seat cant remember was it you who was also getting the pebble in dress blue? if yes it is lovely isnt it :)

Well been busy ironing but had terrible pains really low down so just having a rest now before getting ds from school, I've had to keep stopping and bending over a little to ease the pain not sure whether he is getting lower or something but feels v uncomfortable

frillylemons · 12/06/2012 14:44

I am encouraged to read that I am not the only one who is getting pains etc. My ribs have been really sore today (the front ones) and my bump is causing aches all over my body. I literally can't get comfortable!

Does anyone else occasionally get the odd sharp, or dull, pain that doesn't last too long at the bottom of your bump...kinda like period pains?

I keep sneezing today and my ribs feel like they're going to pop every time! It bloody hurts :(

therumoursaretrue · 12/06/2012 15:02

Hi ladies, sorry to hear some of you are having a rough week. Headaches and nosebleeds sound horrible. Pregnancy is definitely not glam, I'm in total agreement there lemons! I keep saying to DP I should just head round schools as a one woman sex-ed team, I think seeing the realities of pregnancy close up would be the best contraceptive ever!

I'm currently back in hospital, had my scan today and it confirmed a small clot in my leg so waiting to see a doctor to find out what's next.

therumoursaretrue · 12/06/2012 15:04

P.S. Love the space hopper idea vino Grin

Lovemarmite · 12/06/2012 15:49

Just read this from a Bounty email at 31 weeks:
Your little one isn't likely to grow much longer now but will carry on gaining weight. Your baby can also tell night from day now. Sadly, this doesn't mean you can teach them when to sleep just yet!

This maybe gives us hope? maybe no more stretching but just more weight to haul instead?!
I won't add the email bit from babycentre that says 900lbs added until birth... that sounds a little heavy to me, gulp Confused

ishopthereforeiam · 12/06/2012 16:10

Good point on the iron, ladies - will get my levels checked when I am next with the midwife. Don't think it is blood sugar as I had just had cereal and a pain au choc Blush but could be the baby pressing on my lungs and restricting air too as am finding it much harder to breath when sitting back / lying down these days... x

OP posts:
frillylemons · 12/06/2012 16:42

900lbs Marmite?!

frillylemons · 12/06/2012 16:42

Oh Rumours, you poor thing.

How did you find out about the clot? Sorry if I missed something Blush

panpipe · 12/06/2012 18:01

Any news from the doc rumours?

On the way home from work now and am feeling the most awake I have all day! I might even have time for tea before NCT which will be a luxury compared to the yuk overpriced station sandwich I had to grab last night.

Oh and baby has decided to lodge its bum in my ribs again!

Lovemarmite · 12/06/2012 18:16

Oh yes frilly 900lbs is totally way too heavy! - it might just feel like it though? Blush

Here's the babycentre info at 32 weeks:
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb.

Lovemarmite · 12/06/2012 18:17

Let us know how you get on rumours and hope they get you sorted asap.

ishopthereforeiam · 12/06/2012 19:11

Just seen you're in hospital rumours hope the leg is ok?

frillylemons love the name Grin

OP posts:
MrsMigginslovespies · 12/06/2012 19:49

Rumours, hope you're ok?

How's minipop by the way?

Have very odd sore twinges tonight very low down in bump. Can't work out if it's a stretching thing or a prodding thing. Lovely.

How are you feeling now Frilly?

Vinolover · 12/06/2012 20:39

Oh my goodness Rumours how horrible :( Hope you're doing ok!!

3bears it is me that has the pebble in dress blue and I absolutely adore it! I can't wait to see him in it now :)

Ishop I really struggle with breathing at times and the Dr confirmed today it's a sign of anemia :( So many women suffer with low iron at this stage of their pregnancy. He told me to eat more nuts so I went and got myself a huge bar of whole nut Grin It all helps surely Wink

hamncheese · 12/06/2012 20:46

rumors sorry to hear you are in hospital, hope you are doing okay and you are sorted out soon Thanks

I've been getting low down pains too frillylems like period pains indeed. But also been getting this really sharp pain really low down in what I think is cervix... apparently my Mum got it too and I turned out okay so not too worried!

Are you feeling better now ishop ? I agree about not having much breath at the moment what with the lung constriction and stuffed up nose, sometimes when I try and talk fast I don't have enough breath and end up gasping... from talking!!!! Blush maybe that was making you faint though, not getting the oxygen in. I'm living on vicks vapourrub at the minute to keep the air flowing!

Also wondering how poppy and baby thomas minipop are doing? Hope he is growing stronger all the time!

susiegrapevine · 12/06/2012 21:12

hey everyone - omg the reflux i'm sure my baby's head is poking my stomach making my acid leap into the back of my throat!! Arrrg! Must have lots of hair

rumours hope your leg gets sorted soon.

frillylemons the pain just could be like a braxton hicks practice type thing.

my mw has not rung me about iron test yet so i think my iron is probably ok otherwise she would have rung by now

hmm not spoken to my mum since our row and my sister who lives with them rung me tonight and asked mum and dad if either of them wanted to speak to me and they said no..... so not sure if she is not talking to me! could just be they did not wanna talk i guess.

Loislane78 · 12/06/2012 21:17

Sorry to hear a lot of you are feeling a bit dizzy and need iron supps :(. It's funny for me as I'm a few weeks behind and it's like reading a very accurate prediction of whats coming.... :)

Totally with you all on getting out of breath. Not sure why (could be the rolos I just ate) but just ran up the stairs and it was like I'd done some serious cardio exercise I was gulping for air so much!

ham feel for you on the house moving front. Can be v stressful and frustrating.

rumours been in your position :( I guess they gave you Clexane injections to self administer or you might be on heparin drip in hospital? The dosage is titrated to body weight and treatment so would think you'll be on those for the duration now and other treatment after the birth too.

Dont want to hijack the thread but just wanted to say don't panic :). Clexane is v safe and does not cross the placenta. Injections a bit grim but you get used to them. I see my haematologist and OBs consultants tomorrow and in theory it shouldn't affect your birth options (although can't have epidural within 12 hrs of jab if going for VB). I've received excellent care from the docs and feel looked after so far so I'm sure you're in safe hands :)

geekette · 12/06/2012 22:31

Went in for growth scan today. Consultants are happy with the figures but I have to admit Baby's head is on to upper side of the curve and the abdominal circumfrence is off the chart Confused
Blast it, all this talk of even more weight to go on is making me cringe...

Still in goodish mood land so hanging on tight there.

Still lusting after those bumble nappies... Got a few terry squares today. Not sure why I am holding back on the purchase I want the most :)

Heads up and good luck rumours.

geekette · 12/06/2012 22:31

30+0 today I forgot to mention. so some of you are way ahead.

therumoursaretrue · 12/06/2012 23:05

Hey, thank you all for the support. It's quite painful at the moment and a bit scary but just glad I got checked out now, biggest risk seems to be the clot moving up to lungs but that is a very small chance now I have started treatment.

frilly I noticed a pain in my leg about 2 weeks ago but had no other symptoms so didn't think much of it. Was still there on Thursday when I saw the MW though. MW sent me to GP on Friday, who sent me to Maternity ward, who sent me to A&E as they couldn't scan me at that time. They all said they didn't think it was a clot but referred me for scan today. Thank goodness they didn't just send me packing without double checking!

therumoursaretrue · 12/06/2012 23:24

Ah just typed another big long post and it didn't send.

Just wanted to stress to all keep an eye on yourselves, it's amazing how your body works and my only symptom apart from the pain/slight swelling was 'feeling funny'! All the doctors I saw thought I was "too young" and not showing 'enough' symptoms for a clot to be a serious consideration.

Lois thanks for the reassurance. I am indeed on clexane...have been sent home with strict instructions about breathlessness/coughing up blood, a big box of syringes and a sharps bin Sad but I'm sure I'll get used to the injections. I'm seeing a specialist this week about it as well and have a routine appointment with my maternity consultant tomorrow which is good timing.
