Thought I'd get the ball rolling as I know there have been some BFPs in the last few days on here.....

Just got a confirmatory BFP on a clear blue. This will be DC2, DC1 will be two in two weeks!

So grab a seat, buckle up and enjoy the vino soft drinks on offer.

Ps is it really bad that I am craving a jug of Pimm's?!

Pinkie29 · 17/06/2012 17:44

orange I put my pjs on as soon as I'm home! I don't think I'm showing atm just bloated, work shirts already starting to gape! 6 weeks tomorrow!

morecoffeemorecoffee · 17/06/2012 17:49

orangewellies I am also loosing a fair bit of hair! Noticed it for the 1st time today. Don't remember that in my last 2 pregnancies! In fact, last time it was the opposite and I had even thicker hair for most of my pregnancy as none ever fell out! I've also been finding my jeans are uncomfortable! In fact I'm at the point of ditching them in favour of leggings which are way more comfortable! I'm also 5weeks!

orangewellies · 17/06/2012 18:00

morecoffee yes mine was thicker with last two pregs too. Maybe its a DC3 thing!! I have a DD and a DS already - what about you? Do you have a pref for DC3? I don't mind either way. Gonna keep it a surprise though!

QueenOfTheDrama · 17/06/2012 18:18

I'm so jealous of you ladies with your clear skin- I've got loads of hormonal spots around my mouth and chin! Sad

morecoffeemorecoffee · 17/06/2012 18:26

orange I have 2ds aged 6and 4. I cannot see myself with a dd at all! I just picture our family with a house full of boys! I have no preference though, either would be lovely :) I did not find out with my last 2 and I don't think we will find out this time either although I am tempted to! The only thing stopping me finding out is that I will be having a elcs again, so we will know the date the baby will be born and therefore will be nice to leave the sex as a suprise :)

Pinkie29 · 17/06/2012 18:29

queen order some Pure Bentonite Clay from eBay it's about £11 for a kilo you mix it up into a face mask its worked wonders for me and lasts forever! I also use the Body Shop Vitamin E cleanser toner and moisturiser and my skins never been in better condition, plus always take the slap off at night! I know how frustrating and upsetting bad skin is was there myself for years!

morecoffeemorecoffee · 17/06/2012 18:32

Sorry, this is TMI but I have so much wind at the moment!

My skins ok at the moment. It has been terrible the last 3months, but cleared up while we were on holiday and touch wood is still fairly clear!

Another headache coming :( also I'm sooooooo tired at the moment. We went out for breakfast this morning and when I came home I had a nap for an hour! I feel ready to go to bed now! Unfortunately I have school uniforms, packed lunches and many more jobs to do!

BeanDunne · 17/06/2012 18:33

Hello all, this thread moves so fast when im not here and is usually dead when i am... do i smell Grin

I purchased bio oil today and got it on sale so was delighted.

QueenOfTheDrama · 17/06/2012 19:37

Thanks pinkie I'll have a look on ebay for that stuff. I know its the hormones causing it as I don't usually get spots apart from the odd one around when af is due.

Is anyone watching One Born on channel 4? I usually love it but today its terrifying me! Confused

MooMoi · 17/06/2012 19:43

Hi All

First post here, just needed to share. It feels like I have had a week when all one can do is endure it. A very dear friend passed away on Thursday and I found out that I was pregnant on Friday. Yesterday was emotional...

This is my second pregnancy, the first ended in a miscarriage at the end of last year. Just hoping that it works out this time and I wish that I could share my news with my friend.

LittleMissSnowShine · 17/06/2012 19:53

Hello moomoi , hope we're able to give you some support - an exciting but emotional time for u

Anyone watching one born every minute tonight? Just found myself in tears (yep that'll be the hormones) watching the twins being born. So excited to have this baby!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 17/06/2012 19:54

Oh queen - just seen your post! Calming breaths in and out Grin

morecoffeemorecoffee · 17/06/2012 19:58

Hi moomoi welcome and congratulations! So sorry for the loss of your friend and your miscarriage. How many weeks are you? I'm sure your friend knows your news, even though she's no longer here. This must be a very emotional time for you (hugs)

QueenOfTheDrama · 17/06/2012 20:00

littlemiss I've just been in bits watching the midwife lady's DH crying when he called his mum to tell her he had a daughter. As scary as the birth part is, the thought of meeting my baby and seeing my DH hold it makes me believe the actual birth part can't be so bad. I'm crying again just thinking about it!

Hi moomoi I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and your mc, you've been through so much you poor thing. Congratulations on your pregnancy, like littlemiss says, I hope we can give you some support on this thread. x

QueenOfTheDrama · 17/06/2012 20:01

Oh forgot to say - My Sister's Keeper at 9pm on channel 4! Somehow I think the sobbing may continue this evening.

morecoffeemorecoffee · 17/06/2012 20:01

Wish I was watching it, Dh has got the football on! Grrr! Is it a repeat of last series?

Every so often I get this wave of excitement and I can't believe we are having another baby! I feel so lucky! :) :)

Mollusk · 17/06/2012 20:21

Hello, new face! I'm about 6+4, due 7 Feb. First baby at 34 - simultaneously thrilled and terrified!

QueenOfTheDrama · 17/06/2012 20:26

Aww morecoffee we are all very lucky aren't we Smile Yes it was a repeat of the last series. Hope the new series starts before we're due (not too close though mind!)

Hi mollusk - congratulations! Its my first too so know exactly how you feel!

LittleMissSnowShine · 17/06/2012 20:31

Yay, hormonal sob fest! Tho big bro is on at 9 too and its become my secret pregnancy vice ;)

somethingwittynot · 17/06/2012 20:33

god you lot move fast!!! wind here to! and lots of it!

soooo i was browsing a baby shop on ebay and have the perfect pram does everything i want carry cot, parent and world faces and seats can face different directions independantly so i dont have to get a bugaboo donkey now! and it will fit in the car!!

QueenOfTheDrama · 17/06/2012 20:42

littlemiss I haven't watched any big bro - is it any good? My DH has put the football on too but I think it could be the perfect excuse to get an early night and watch the film in bed Smile Good to hear you're feeling calm about the birth, I go through phases where one minute I'm terrified and the next I'm looking forward to it in a weird kind of way Hmm

something the pram sounds great, what kind is it? And whats the ebay baby shop called? Will have a little nosey.

morecoffeemorecoffee · 17/06/2012 20:50

littlemiss Dh paused footie and has just connected freeview in our bedroom (Im disconnected all the wires months ago when rearranging our bedroom and list one of the leads!) Off to.watch my sisters keeper in bed :)

Welcome mollusk and congratulations!

Pinkie29 · 17/06/2012 20:53

I'm deliberately having an early night so I can miss my sisters keeper otherwise I know I'll be having my own private blubbering session!!!

morecoffeemorecoffee · 17/06/2012 20:54

something that pram does sound good! I have been doing some pushchair research also! No idea what we are going to go for! We've had so many over the years, but we've sold them all so have to start again with this one. :)
