Thought I'd get the ball rolling as I know there have been some BFPs in the last few days on here.....

Just got a confirmatory BFP on a clear blue. This will be DC2, DC1 will be two in two weeks!

So grab a seat, buckle up and enjoy the vino soft drinks on offer.

Ps is it really bad that I am craving a jug of Pimm's?!

Im starving with slightly sore boobs and weeing a bit more and tired!

loveschocolate · 15/06/2012 19:53

Don't worry MrsRT - I only felt tired up until the end of wk5. I'm guessing you smoke by your comment about nicotine withdrawal - apparently the incidence of ms is much less in smokers or those that have recently given up.

LittleMissSnowShine · 15/06/2012 20:06

MrsM - I'm tired and I seem to be showing already lol But apart from that no sore boobs, no nausea (yet). I could just be pudgy and lazy at this point apart from the positive hpts!

loveschocolate - have you tried motion sickness bands that you wear round your wrists? they're quite good for helping you cope with nausea that goes on for hours but never actually makes you sick. Ginger tea is something else that i thought wasn't bad - but if they don't help, def argue your case about getting the drugs, the sooner u take them, the more effective they are!

friday night, just had dinner, totally ready to get into jammies and hit the hay but think i'll keep DH company for a while snoozing on sofa beside him hee

angrytree · 15/06/2012 20:37

MrsM80, yes, I think it is perfectly normal not to feel any symptoms. The only symptom I had with DC1 was sore boobs, and I don't think that lasted very long. That was another thing that made me worry all the time - am I really pregnant?! I didn't start showing until I was about four months, but things sped up after that.

This time around, no sore boobs, but even a bite of food is almost instantly making me feel really bloated and uncomfortable. Hopefully this'll wear off soon.

MrsM80 · 15/06/2012 20:47

Thanks everyone. Good to know its normal! As I say I'll no doubt be wishing I had no symptoms if they suddenly appear with a vengeance!

On another note hubby keeps making me jump. I know why I try not to be in his presence when the footie's on!

BeanDunne · 15/06/2012 20:58

God you guys are moving fast today. i cant keep up. ill read up now but i saw Mcprice talking about bargain shopping and had to share my bargain if i win this ill save bucket loads

somethingwittynot · 15/06/2012 21:05

i wonder when ill start showing as I heard the closer together you have them the earlier you show as your body just snaps back into it? Also I have a section pouch so I wonder what type of bump I wuill get this time?

BeanDunne · 15/06/2012 21:16

Oh yes and we told both our parents. My dad last night and dp's parents today, it was just lovely they were both shocked as they didn't know we were ttc.

Ill be uploading a video on youtube tonight under the same name as on here :)
Im doing pregnancy vlogs :)

LittleMissSnowShine · 15/06/2012 21:21

Good woman with your preggers vlogging Bean, hope it makes the weeks pass faster until D-day! Glad telling then rents went well

Somethingwitty - I'm def showing a bit - DS was in transverse lie (ie. most awkward possible position) for WEEKS towards the end of 3rd trimester and he was a really long baby (57cm at birth!) so that stretched / tore my ab muscles in every way possible. Last time I didn't really show until end of month 5 but this time with the first trimester bloat and slightly swollen uterus there's def a little teeny bump there lol

somethingwittynot · 15/06/2012 21:58

My DS was born via crash sectio but was breech/transverse from 13-34 weeks. He's 5 months Grin

sylphid · 15/06/2012 22:14

...and i'm worried because i practicaly don't have any pregnancy symptoms at all - although I had BFP a week ago and I'm apparantly due in Feb 2013. i'm thinking about taking another test - which proves that you can always find something to worry about if you want to Confused

BeanDunne · 15/06/2012 22:26

sylphid im pretty sure we have all had the same worries and we will worry until the day the baby is here and then we will worry some more

sylphid · 15/06/2012 22:40

totally same here, i think i'm really going to do another test tomorrow.

angrytree · 15/06/2012 23:09

If there are two in the box, you might as well use them :o But seriously, try not to worry and count yourself lucky in fact - it's perfectly normal, and you're right, you will always find something to worry about.

BabylannShallFall · 15/06/2012 23:21

Yep, I took 12 tests overall and still look over at them with temptation now! And I'm full of symptoms and very, very close to a scan.

Tuesday will be exciting for dp - first look at his baby AND a football match!

Pinkie29 · 16/06/2012 05:45

I'm still testing haha! Been almost two weeks but still don't quite believe it! I'm tired, starving, boobs growing rapidly and having a few queasy spells each day (not been sick yet!)

Dp told his mum last night she was in tears! First grandchild!

BeanDunne · 16/06/2012 06:01

well im awake so im going to have a read back now :)

JNO18 · 16/06/2012 06:35

Hey ladies.

Totally with you on the "worrying its not real" thing! I've done 3 tests do far and thinking of doing another one this morning before we tell family. I still can't quite believe it.

Can't sleep either which is very annoying but glad I have the forum to catch up on from last night. Smile

We had friends over to watch the football which had been arranged for ages. I was sneaking the alcohol free beer, which worked really well and I don't think they noticed. There was a worrying moment when my friend had bought a bottle of bubbly with him and I thought "how the hell am I going to get out of this, I've never turned down a glass of champagne!" but managed to side step it quite nicely without anyone noticing!

Also I would recommend becks blue. Almost tastes the same

Telling our parents today. So excited Grin

JNO18 · 16/06/2012 06:37

Also - what do you ladies think about paying for a private early dating scan? I'm so nervous that it's not real I'm tempted to get one. Don't think I can wait 8 weeks for the nhs one!

JNO18 · 16/06/2012 06:58

Lovely video beandunne

Will stop posting now until some of you wake up!

morecoffeemorecoffee · 16/06/2012 07:16

Morning all!

Will watch your video later bean, can't view on my phone for some reason.

jno18 I know what you mean about it not seeming real! I have done another test this morning Blush clear blue digi and result was pregnant 3+ which has really reassured me as I did a clear blue digi Monday and it was pregnant 1-2 so hcg levels are definitely going up :)

Not sure about private scan. It's hard waiting, but so worth it in the end! However, if you can afford it, why not! I would if we could I think! Grin

angrytree · 16/06/2012 07:49

Nice video bean. Your dad is great!

somethingwittynot · 16/06/2012 08:15

So I did another first response this morning and got a muich darker line so all is good there I will get a scan around 8/9 weeks due to my history and then ill be paying for a 4D one arounf 26 weeks as had one with DS and there amazing!! Woke up feeling sick but no actuual sick yet

Pinkie29 · 16/06/2012 08:50

JNO18 I was going to have a private scan but apparently you barely see anything at 6/7 weeks it's hardly worth it. I feel a little more patient now so will see what date the me gives us for our 1st scan and try hold off! 6 weeks Monday!!

JNO18 · 16/06/2012 09:07

Thanks ladies. I'll probably feel better as time passes and I get more used to it. Think I want something just to confirm its all real.

I've been to tesco already this morn (making the most of my early wake up) and came back feeling all out of breath. Having to have a little rest before doing any more!
