This had better be the last antenatal thread for us all, so come on girls, get pushing!

My nails are no better than usual. They are always quite weak.

I'm confident I should get a sweep, but when will I get my (one and only) chance at induction? Probably another week. DP may well wake up dead if I have to wait that long.
Don't know how Ixel did it and stayed so calm....

Frizbetheexpansionset · 21/02/2006 17:08

argh, so my nails aren't a sign....drat!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 21/02/2006 17:08

how's about the zit, anyone got a zit??

Jasnem · 21/02/2006 17:10

No zit
Is that good, or bad?

Oooh, I have a zit... got it today. Dunno what that means, but at least we look manky together, with our broken nails and spotty faces

Flamesparrow · 21/02/2006 20:23

Left my freezer open... half the food is defrosted. Cried hysterically on my mum.

Feeling better now

TicTac · 21/02/2006 20:44

Oh dear ladies...you don't sounds too happy..
Spotty, maky, broken finger nails, emotional....what's going on here...you used to be so cheerful

Huge labour vibes to you all....I need to see you back to your old selves but busting with pride with your new arrivals!

Hello lovely ladies - I am still pregnant, and still fed up!
Itchy stretch marks much the same (still lumpy and itchy), itchy spots coming out all round my wrists and knees
Doc just looked at me and said - 'that happens sometimes in pregnancy - we don't know why.'
Boo.
I have some aqueous calamine cream for it, but basically only popping out this sprog will relieve the stretch on my skin and stop it from complaining. Come on, baby!!

I'm getting seriously bored too - domestic jobs just aren't enough to stop me from wanting to pull my own teeth out with boredom ! So I end up sitting around like an itchy slob, surrounded by dirty dishes and laundry

Jas - that is indeed my DH
He looks a bit like an eternal school boy, but I assure you he's in his mid-thirties!
And a cutie

Frizbetheexpansionset · 21/02/2006 21:33

Oh I must sort out my yahoo log in

So Flame and I have zits, it must be a sign of hormones changes right?!
Sorry about the Freezer Flame.....booo.....

Have scoffed my krispe kreme donut, was lovely, glad they're not available in our area tho, as would be the size of a house

Come on Jas, are you in labour tonight? I reckon you should have popped by morning, try Flames bath dream suggestion thingy!

Helen, have the inlaws gone yet? your not sprogging without me are you?

Frizbetheexpansionset · 21/02/2006 21:34

Thell big hugs re the itching, not nice....

Helen38 · 22/02/2006 07:42

Inlaws went last night, no frizbe i am not sprogging!!!!

I have spots, note the "s" not a spot oh no teenager face on it's way

Lots of empathy re the lumpy itchy bump thell, sounds just like mine and is yucky

I've got consultant appt on friday so hoping to try and get them to give me a poke while I am there, I am guessing that if I was 3cm a week ago, the amount of contractions I've had since then I must be more than that by now, why am I still pg???????

Think I might go for that bath soak today, baby's not coming anyway so might as well

How are you all today???? babies coming?

Jasnem · 22/02/2006 08:00

No Frizbe, no labour here, either.

Will be back later, but need to do the kiddy thing now and get them to school.

Dh just told me mil on way to hospital in ambulance that doesn't sound good, she was fine yesterday.

Flamesparrow · 22/02/2006 08:33

Helen - hope she's ok!!!

Well our "we'll have these babies by Tuesday" plan worked wonderfully didn't it ??

Maybe we should have been more specific which Tuesday we were referring to???

Back ache and general discomfort all night again - Spark kept doing the wriggly thing where it felt like it was trying to push waters and an arm out of my girly places... not the most pleasant of sensations!!!

Not a lot planned for today. Really should tidy a bit, but I am at the stage of not being bothered

Still worrying about DD being demon child at nursery tomorrow - the plan is to take her, and then stay with my mum (she works at the school) so that I am there if she won't settle etc.

I'm still going to be sat here typing away next Wednesday aren't I?

Flamesparrow · 22/02/2006 08:38

Forgot - wanted to give hugs to the itchy ones.

Jas - when is your appointment today?

Oooh, how's this for impressive... me AND DD dressed already

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 09:11

and more hugs here to the itchy ones too.....

I'm having back cramps, ohhhh please let it be me, looks like another March girl (Munz) may be on the starting blocks, pah shall be sulking big style if she drops before me!

Poppy H from march (think she's lurked on here too) is going to be c-sect'd on Monday, so have told her to get herself over here too!

Helen, hope your MIL is ok {{{Big Hugs}}}

Jas, hope the school run is the thing to set you off today

Flame how's things, any plans for the day?

I've got midwife this afternoon, so will see what she has to say, must go and find that pot for her......always nearly forget, ahem..

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 09:15

Yeah well done flame! dd and I aren't dressed here......dd currently playing with some toy coins ss gave her, which I thought I'd gotten rid of them all, as IMO too small for her....but she must have had a stash somewhere! as is now doing piles of them, damn! will have to see where they go and raid them later!

Helen38 · 22/02/2006 09:24

Have got rid of kids to school/preschool, it's nice and quiet

Is anyone else suddenly hungry all of the time or am i just a pig?

People due in march are not allowed to have babies before us, everyone in the world is surprised to see me still pg, the amount of times i have heard" I thought you'd of had it by now" so did I !!!!!!!!

Thing that has made me the most broody so far was a post last wk, think 3k saying how baby tries to suck cheek when hungry, I remember that really hungry baby, trying to suck anything that goes near it's face thing, so cute, making me yearny and want mine.

Flamesparrow · 22/02/2006 09:25

Well I am officially crazy and hormonal... burst into tears when I read Munz's waters post!!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 09:29

Awww {{{{Hugs}}}} Flame, I know how you feel, looks like another one before us, but Munz is a sweetie, so don't mind really

Helen, you've made me feel really cuddly with your mention of 3k's post, I remember when dd used to try that!

I really must go and get washed and dressed....Flame I think we're doing role reversal today

Helen38 · 22/02/2006 09:48

Don't know what's wrong with me today, can't seem to do anything/get going, don't fancy anything to eat but hungry and could burst into tears at any time.

Want a baby now

They think mil has broken a rib coughing, which caused chest pain and trouble breathing, won't know till later.

Jasnem · 22/02/2006 10:04

Hi,

I did the school run, and walked to the shops....nothing.

Appt at hospital at 2pm, so fingers crossed for then.

I've noticed a complete lack of appetite lately (not like me at all) and am currently living on breakfast cereal. The hearttburn is miles better, so all the extra milk must be helping.

Helen - hope MIL is ok, it sounds nasty. Must have been fairly violent coughing, or she's pretty frail!

Why are all these March girls having babies? Didn't anyone tell them they have to wait their turn?

I'm going to be happy and positive today and hope to cheer everyone else up with positive vibes....Big hugs to everyone who needs them (all of us by the sound of it). We really can't go on like this much longer....

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/02/2006 10:32

Jas that is the one bonus the end is nigh one way or the other!
Hope your hosp apptmt goes well x
Have 2 say lack of appetite last time in me lead to labour approx 10hrs later so?

Helen glad MIL hasnt got anything life threatening, maybe the vegging is bodys way of calm b4 storm!

Still have intermittent back cramps here, hoping will lead to something! (ideal as mum is on way over and can look after dd! like its going to happen that way.....)

Helen38 · 22/02/2006 12:04

We are getting very quiet on here aren't we?

This is the trouble with being due at the end of the month.

Or are you all off somewhere having babies without me?
