This had better be the last antenatal thread for us all, so come on girls, get pushing!

Just remembered DD's chalk board... amused child, and I can watch baby programmes

Oooh, and stuff happened whilst I started typing... DD might be starting nursery this week (obviously if I don't pop). They have spaces now, but probably won't after easter... so they have said we can take 2 afternoons a week, and if she likes it, she goes, if not and she feels pushed out, then my mum says she'll pay for the place until we need it. She has been desperate to start school for a while (whether she still is once she goes is another matter ), so we might as well give it a go - it could be that she doesn't feel pushed out, and its more like a big girl treat.

Ok, worrying now... I have 2 children - I have the nice, loving, gentle helpful one... and the whirlwind screaming tantrum rude one. What if from the time she walks through those doors she is the demon child??

Flame, chill don't worry, she won't be demon child dd often plays me up on the way into nursery, wants more hugs, etc etc, but by the time I get around to picking her up, she doesn't want to come home!

I have no idea if dh will stick to his plan ladies, no doubt you'll be the first to hear when he doesn't

Don't worry flame, I have worked in nurseries loads, we always get the nice child, they save demon child for mummy

My ds is an angel at preschool, got them all wrapped around his little finger

I'd love to but it's not doing what it's told.

Really need it to come, trying not to worry about it turning but to go through the last 3 wks and then have it turn and have another section would be so totally pants.

Just a quickie to let you know that Ixel has had her baby! Bram 9lb 15oz - mother and baby well. Sure she'll be on when she gets a chance to fill in all the details.

Wow - Big baby Ixel! Congratulations!!!

I'm convinced this baby is staying put til March now , and just going to make me bloody uncomfortable until then. Another day of feeling exhausted, back ache, painful twinges, but nothing properly happening. You can see just how optimistic I am of it appearing soon by the fact that I am planning on DD going on Thursday! .

Woken after a snooze, and again, still aching and uncomfortable, and just had my first "any sign of baby" text - it was from my step mum... is she really thinking they wouldn't know???

PS: Dear baby you can come out now, as mummy has finished the horrible pile of accounts!! please hurry up before the pile is back again!

Jas - I told you yesterday... you need a nice hot bath and she'll just pop out after a few contractions, and you have to catch her in the bath

I think you should all be proud of me today... It only took me til 2.45pm to get DD dressed - she had cleaned her teeth and brushed her hair this morning though , I fed her lunch, put a wash load in, and did one lot of dishes!!!

Compared to yesterday where neither of us got dressed, did hair or teeth , I forgot to feed her, and didn't do a single bit of housework.. I am very proud of myself

I really feel for you, I realllllly realllly hated this stage of pregnancy. I got very vey arsey.
I remember being so desperate to be able to bend and feel lighter.
I remember getting up off the bed that was beside the pool, my placenta had been taken away and I had half an hours rest with dh, and ds on my boob. They told me I could shower in the birth pool - ohhhh, it was so fabulous, I almost danced in there. And being able to wee normally and empty my bladder - ahhh the bliss.
Just think ladies - you have that to look forward to.

lol - the empty bladder is the bit I am looking forward to the most! Its quite sad that that is even beating holding the baby right now

I'm looking forward to being able to turn over in bedwithout having to get up and rearrange the whole thing!

I had a long hot bath this morning (with my foot over the overflow so I could fill it up enough to (almost ) cover my bump. Still no baby, though

I've got an appointment at the hospital tomorrow, so I'm hoping they'll work some miracle and get me going.

Very, very moody today. Have ignored dp all day (because he got more sleep than me last night, and it's not fair), and done three school runs and a trip to tescos for no good reason. He would do it if I asked, but I wouldn't (secretly hoping all the walking will help).

Going to watch tv in bed and try and be nicer tomorrow.

Awww.... My bump is just very painful - I seem to be pulling muscles every time I move

Hoping that they give you a good prod about tomorrow and start you.

DD's fallen asleep on the sofa again... it'll be a mistake at bedtime, but is sooo quiet now

but baths will slow down any contractions - Honest.
Trust me, I've been there.

Fingers x'd they will Jas, I've got midwife tomorrow, am debating asking if she'll give me a sweap, its only a few days early right! in hope......

Lol at you flame, I wouldn't have gotten dressed if I didn't have too....no excuse tomorrow either as my mum is coming round, so will have to get arse in gear for that also! (bright side is she might do my ironing pile!)

Surely me telling bump about the accounts was worth a go tho?

Well my hormones must be surely changing girls, I've broken 5 nails in two days, and they've been strong as anything for the last 9 mths! also have walloping zit on end of nose so bump must be due soon......and one of my lovely friends has just texted me to say she's bringing me a krispy kreme do-nut over from Birmingham tonight yummy!

I know, but they'd already stopped, and at least now I'm clean and miserable

Mrs D, they speeded mine up in hosp with dd last time?!

My nails have been a mess for 2 weeks now :
