Frizbetheexpansionset · 24/02/2006 16:58

Apparently not I've just pointed it out tho
I've also just dumped a ton of chilli in tonights chilli, hope its edible when its done cooking I'm getting to the willing to try anything stage!

Helen38 · 24/02/2006 17:40

Me again

Just had HUGE yucky brown show (sorry if TMI) feeling crampy but not going to get excited i expect I'll be at that over due appt next week. Although as ds2 has 2 parties to go to this weekend and having a baby would get in the way, there must be a chance it could come or wed which is ds1's 7thb'day the one day I don't want it to come could be a good bet.

Come on girls lets all go for it over the weekend shall we?

Hope all feeling yucky or itchy feel better soon, good luck with the chilli frizbe

Jasnem · 24/02/2006 17:46

Helen - you're definitely up next! You won't make it 'til next week at all

I will try (again) for this weekend, but don't let my complete lack of action slow you three down. Just keep me fully informed so I know when to stop talking to myself!

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 24/02/2006 20:35

Jas, we would never leave you talking to yourself
Helen, a huge show, how fab your defo next, bet you've had your baby by tomorrow lunchtime
Thell any more news from yourself??

Well I've just sat in the car for an hour each way up and down the motorway, so maybe that'll help shift this baby??? plus ate the chilli, which still wasn't that hot according to me, but dh reckons it was, so maybe my taste buds have gone? I'm soo hopeful that we all kick off this weekend, really am which means I'm gona be sooo gutted to still be here next friday!

poppyh · 24/02/2006 20:38

Hi all, thought Id pop over here as im def having this baby on Monday, unless something happens over weekend.
Am exhausted after having tea party for DDs 3rd bday today.just glad I got to today without popping TBH!!!
Any news on TIL?

Frizbetheexpansionset · 24/02/2006 20:40

Hi Poppy H, yep she's still every 15 mins or so, has to go in for inducement in morning, if nothing kicks off properly overnight....so lets hope it does for her sake!
Good luck for monday hon x

poppyh · 24/02/2006 20:44

Thanks friz, cant help feeling it will be Monday for you too.

Frizbetheexpansionset · 24/02/2006 22:32

Well tis my due date but I'm not so sure you know.....mind you its supposed to snow loads, so bound to happen, just in time for no midwives to be able to get to me!

Jasnem · 25/02/2006 09:08

Morning,
I'm still here.
Feeling better again today, but still not at all laboury!
Anyone else around?

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 25/02/2006 09:39

Hi Jas, I'm around too! still nothing happening....although I do appear to have more of a snotty cold again, booooooooo woke up in the night, as couldn't breathe......wish it would go away fully! think I need a nice holiday in the sun like that's going to happen! (a week in the canaries with a newborn? oh but we have no money.....)

Jasnem · 25/02/2006 09:45

I had this thoery that if you're ill anyway, you're less likely to go into labour, as your body knows it hasn't got the extra energy needed iyswim.
Hope you prove it wrong, though!

I don't even want a holiday any more, just the newborn would be good.

If i don't have it soon, I'll end up with FIL staying instead of my mum...same as with DD2. This is going to be my last, and I'd really like to share it with my mum this time.

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 25/02/2006 09:57

Oh Jas really, really hope that your bump pops soon, it'd be so nice for you to be able to share the time with your mum {{{{Big Hugs}}}}

I think your right, there's no sign of impending labour at the moment.......like I said my kids appear to like their sleep like me (although unfortunatly as babies they stil wake a lot in the night! lol )

Bet I'm the last to pop from the thread!

Right I'm off to do a shopping list and go get some food in for the weekend...and then we have to see what dh's cooking is like! fingers x'd he doesn't poison any of us.....

Flamesparrow · 25/02/2006 12:55

Hiya guys. I feel all mean Jas - I want your baby out (and obviously everyone else's!)

I've done a gory details version of birth announcements. Huge huge labour inducing hugs to all of you.

xxxx

Jasnem · 25/02/2006 16:01

Thanks Frizbe, Flame. It's quite nice to know others understand, even if there's nothing we can do.

Spent a lovely morning makingdressing up outfits with my girls ( my punishment for letting them look in a book of activities)DD1 is now a knight, and DD2 is a hippy chick - they are as different in personality as two girls can be!

Have had 2 "haven't you had it yet ?" calls today...the first from the family!

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 25/02/2006 17:45

ARGH don't you just hate those, I'm dreading doing all the weekly business things this week, as all the girls in the bank and the post office are rooting for me to have dropped, am already sick of having spent all of last week saying, no, not due till next week.......

Thanks for the thoughts flame, will go and check the gory details in a sec !!

Jas, I'm trying to tempt fate today, dd and I have been and brought a live (plant) present for my gran, who is 93 on Monday (my edd!) and there's a family tea thing going on tomorrow, so bound to drop tonight right, and thus be unable to deliver plant, which will die horribly in the meantime, as I'm rubbish at looking after them

Jasnem · 25/02/2006 17:51

That sounds like a good reason to have bought a plant to me!
Kind of hoping you get to kill it now...

I've done all the things that I did last week at home, thinking "next time I do this I'll have had the baby" Changed beds, more ironng (still to do, maybe if I have the baby tomorrow my mum can do it...might just leave it one more day).

I'm also gradually emptying the freezer of all the meals I made a month ago to keep us going post birth!

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 25/02/2006 19:09

Tell me about it Jas, I was just doing the ironing again, thinking, oh well maybe this time next week I'll have a baby....again!

Frizbetheexpansionset · 26/02/2006 09:07

Morning Ladies

Helen, have you sprogged yet?

Thell how are you?? or have you snuk off and had a baby

Jas baby yet? hopefully you have, out of all of us you deserve one.

PoppyH good luck for the c-sect tomorrow

Well so far my plant present idea hasn't spurred my body into labour, pah! looks like I may well be overdue too....ho hum....again.....have a good Sunday ladies I shall try to log on again later.

Jasnem · 26/02/2006 09:22

Morning,
Still nothing here...this is getting very boring now

Thell....Helen....news?

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 26/02/2006 09:32

Jasnem · 26/02/2006 10:32

I'm getting all excited, now... look!

Please don't let it turn into nothing!

OP posts:
Frizbetheexpansionset · 26/02/2006 12:27

hurrah for Jas you soooo deserve to go into labour now honey!

So if no Thell or Helen either I'm officially the last person on the thread and just damn well knew I would be.......

Tabs · 26/02/2006 12:43

You don't get to be classed as last Frizbe until we've officially heard that things are happening for Thell and Helen!!

4blue1pink · 26/02/2006 13:12

Come on you Jas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rooting for you girl!

Jasnem · 26/02/2006 14:11

Still here, but stronger contractions. Am sort of expecting to be kept in when I get to hospital.
If you don't hear from me that's where I am. I will text Flame with any news, and log back on if I do get to come home this evening.

Waiting for my best friend to come and sit with the kids (train from London may take some time). This is the on;y day in the whole month that my parents can't be here. Mum is all excited, and will make my dad drive here at midnight if I do have the baby today, though.
