Please feel free to rant for England, Scotland, Wales an NI, Biccies. I shall be egging you on. I thought my response was very moderate and witty, given the circumstances.

How's baby Ethan and his big bro?!

Wants - we have a tickling feather at the ready... just say the word.

ScrambledSmegs · 04/05/2012 18:55

Yay for wants!!!!

Evening all. I am needing much brooking as am mentalling in the run up to the scan next week. I know that movement is totally irregular at this stage it tenny Munx having a quiet day haven't felt a wallop since last night and freaking out trying to remember if I have felt even a tickle today. I know I am being daft as there is no rhyme, reason or pattern until later. Sigh.

Oh and my sacroiliac dysfunction has kicked in big time. Actually can't walk ATM and it is going to get worse and worse.

Sorry sorry, totally me me me Blush

Hope everybody else's day was good, I am a bit behind with thread but I do hope dream has a good night.

clickingtock · 04/05/2012 20:58

Munx - brooking like billio. Sounds tough for you; I can't imagine how tough the sd must be. Poor thing.

Dream - I second a decent night for you.

NinjaChipmunk · 04/05/2012 21:12

Big time brooking for munx. If it helps at that stage i was getting periods of up to a week with practically no discernible movement. Other weeks I'd feel loads. Teeny munx has probably just hunkered down to somewhere that's not so sensitive to movement. Do you have any idea where your placenta is?

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 04/05/2012 23:24

Haven't had a chance to go through the thread properly, just wanted to send big hugs to Fluffy and huge No Brooking vibes to Wants.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 04/05/2012 23:25

No brooking for Munx too! Big hugs. Plus anyone else I've missed, I'm sorry!

hawthers · 05/05/2012 06:00

wants where are you? Did everything kick off in the end? Hope all going ok.

musical good luck with the move

munx brooking no argument that all ok at your scan this week. Is it possiblei you've got an anterior placenta so movements are not as strong? Who was it who had one? Total baby brain I have no idea but someone on here had one.

fluffy/pop hope you are feeling ok about the redundancy. Your dh's ideas for things to do sound great.

Going off grid for a week so hopefully come back to lots more lovely brooking babies!

Biscuitsandtea · 05/05/2012 08:06

Hoping Wants is enjoying newborn snuggles now with her (hopefully) May the 4th baby Grin

Hawthers / Munx it was me me me with the anterior placenta --and endless moaning / mentalling about not feeling any movement. I think I must have been more than 25 weeks, maybe even 26 or 27 before I could definitely feel them every day and I don't think I'd felt anything at all before 20 weeks. Thus I was also v v scared before the old 20 week scan!

So I'm brooking like mad for you that it'll be a great scan at 20 weeks. When is it again? (baby brain Blush)

Good luck with the Big Move Musical - hope minimusicnote can wait until a convenient time before making an appearance Smile

Now, help me out here. Wants, Musical and Jen are all due imminently. How many are UBBs? Do we know if any are boys or girls?

Very excited about getting more people for the night shift gorgeous newborn babies to fuss over.

Have a fab holiday Hawthers Smile

Wants3 · 05/05/2012 08:52

puts herself at the end of the queue behind musical and Jen I got to contractions every 4/5 mins by about 9pm, decided to have a bath and lie down in preparation for long night. By 11pm everything had stopped! Permission to be really grumpy all day please? :( no newborn snuggles today.
Ps biscuits I am having a boy, musicals is a ubb and I can't remember what Jen said!

jenfraggle · 05/05/2012 09:41

Oh Wants! I still think you will get in first though.

Mine is a UBB.

Munx I also had an anterior placenta and didn't feel anything until at least 22/23 weeks. Think I was more like 26 before I was feeling something every day.

NinjaChipmunk · 05/05/2012 09:51

wants I'm sorry to hear that, maybe it'll kick off sometime today?

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 05/05/2012 10:37

Oh Wants Sad - maybe it'll be today? Hope so xx

musicalmrs · 05/05/2012 13:32

Wants, I'm so sorry :( Sounds like it's all gearing up though? Will be brooking that it does!

I also had lots of tightenings/painful BHs/contractions?! last night, every 10 minutes for most of the evening. To be honest I put it down to doing far too much. Had a few very painful ones in the night which really worried me (mainly because I didn't want to go into labour last night!), but also died away. They're officially allowed as of this evening though.

Sneakily updating when I should be unpacking! In lovely new house, cats happy, and only one piece of furniture that's currently homeless = result! Feels rather odd to be in a house that's actually 'ours'. And no sign of minimusicnote Biscuits - it clearly listened to you ;)

Must get back to unpacking before I get told off - then I can get back to bouncing on my ball! I've done hardly anything, and DH has reassembled most of the furniture and almost finished the nursery - oops!

jenfraggle · 05/05/2012 16:34

Spud has been feeling very low down today walking through town. Have put up a new bump pic.

Yay for Musical being in your house. Do you have a quaver in there or my personal favourite a hemisemidemisemiquaver?

musicalmrs · 05/05/2012 18:08

Hurrah for a low down spud Jen! And fab bump picture :) I'll try and enlist DH's help in taking one later. The removal people today were very impressed that we were moving house when I'm due next Sunday. May have thought we were mad, which is also right...

Also - hemisemidemiquavers are my favourites too Wink I don't know what's in there... seems a bit late to give it a name now!

Hawthers/Munx I also have an anterior placenta. It meant I didn't feel movements at the front much at all to begin with - just at the sides and lower down. I also had plenty of mentalling moments like Biscuits (though, usually after one the LO would move - as if it were taunting me! In fact when I still have moments of worrying about it and movement it does exactly the same..).

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 05/05/2012 18:09

Oh poo, wants!

Thanks for all the kind wishes guys :) I'm feeling a lot more chilled about it all today, thanks in no small part to my lovely husband and knowing my life's on the up what with having a mini-Fluff in the oven. Sort of puts it all in perspective you know? Am off to the job centre Tuesday to see about JSA, but I think my maternity allowance will kick in in about 11 weeks (at 29 weeks) which will be a bit more ££. So not too shabby, really.

jenfraggle · 05/05/2012 18:11

I'm in a fair bit of pain now. It's not contractions as it's just continual but it is very low down and I don't know what to do with myself. Think I'm going to try having a lie down

Wants3 · 05/05/2012 20:24

Do you think it might be muscular Jen if you say you were walking around a lot this morning? A warm bath may help. I have decided I am going to ignore all my 'pains' until They really, really start to hurt so I don't jinx anything!
Ds2 is out for a sleepover tonight or rather a nosleepover! :)

jenfraggle · 05/05/2012 20:35

I took some paracetemol and had a lie down and it has eased off. Spud is going crazy now though, kicking and squirming all over the place.

DreamingOfPeace · 05/05/2012 21:49

Eagerly awaiting the next no brooking baby :-)
