Congrats Scarlet!!
Don't think I congratulated Scream, so Congrats Scream too!!

Munx2 · 30/04/2012 07:20

Congratulations scarlet!!!!

Sounds promising wants......

Have good days brookers.

GenericDietCola · 30/04/2012 07:30

Congratulations Scarlet! Sorry you had a scary time, but wonderful that DD is now here safely. X

GreenOlives · 30/04/2012 08:57

Massive congratulations Scarlet! Thanks What fabulous news, a beautiful daughter! Grin Hope you managed to get some rest after your loong weekend of induction and that you're not in too much pain today.

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 30/04/2012 09:10

munx yes very easy to use. I know what you mean about panicking if I couldn't find a HB but it hasn't happened yet....... and that's a very modest weight gain Envy I have gained 9lbs at 17 weeks

How was the evil BIL scream? And why is he evil?

What colour, musical? :)

Congratulations Scarlet! I hope it wasn't too scary, and that you're all recovering nicely now :)

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 30/04/2012 09:11

...not only have I gained 9lbs, but I'm far, far bigger than when I actually weighed this weight without being pregnant about 2 years ago Hmm not sure where I actually put that 9lbs before?!?!

Wants3 · 30/04/2012 09:48

Congratulations scarlet on the arrival of a lovely DD! I hope they get your pain under control quickly.
Nothing to see here I am afraid, everything petered out in the middle of the night. Just back to painful wriggly baby moves and stabby pains down below.
I am trying to get used to the fact that I am on maternity leave, it is strange being home on my own when it is not a school holiday! It has been nice to potter though:)

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 30/04/2012 10:44

Yay Scarlet! Congratulations on your DD! Has she got a name yet? Hope you had a good night and got some stronger painkillers.

musicalmrs · 30/04/2012 10:47

Scarlet, congratulations! Hope the CS wound is feeling slightly better today, and hope you're enjoying wonderful newborn snuggles :)

Wants, I've been having similar with bouts of BHs, often painful, and lots of stabby pains too - I think as it bounces around/grinds on my cervix. Yick! Also know what you mean about being home during the school day, strange isn't it!

Fluffy, what colour what, nursery? Green and cream I think - well, definitely green, maybe with some cream!

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 30/04/2012 11:51

Yes the nursery musical - it sounds lovely! Are you having a UBB or do you know if it's a girl or boy? :)

musicalmrs · 30/04/2012 12:32

Thanks Fluffy :) Having an UBB! I initially thought it was a girl, but am now thinking a boy. Either way, we don't want to gender stereotype with colours (as we could wait until its arrival - 38w+1 today, with an induction date of the 23rd May!), and we both like green! :)

DH didn't get round to starting it yesterday, but we did prep it. Think he's going to work on it over the next few evenings though, yay!

NinjaChipmunk · 30/04/2012 13:04

yay scarlet sorry to hear it needed to be a dramatic entrance but very glad you are both ok. Will try to catch up later x

Congratulations Scarlet

Sorry I've not said anything sooner, there is a major fire in the town where I'm from and I've been busy looking out for news on it. I had my wedding reception in the hotel next door which has been evacuated and I really hope it doesn't spread there Fire

NinjaChipmunk · 30/04/2012 15:40

Blimey jen whilst I don't know that specific hotel, I do know Falmouth as friends of ours used to live there. The picture on that link looks devastating!

Just been looking at the stats thread, musical is next followed by wants and then me! Shock

musicalmrs · 30/04/2012 18:10

But Jen, we're actually all so close together (and all full term!) that there's no knowing which of us will pop first! Grin

TheLittleFriend · 30/04/2012 19:50

Congratulations scarlet ThanksThanksxxx

Wants3 · 30/04/2012 20:59

Eeeeek! There could be an exciting few days for the 3 of us!

ScrambledSmegs · 30/04/2012 22:01

Congratulations scarlett! Thanks Thanks Thanks

So, err, I will probably be joining you all a little earlier than anticipated. Had my 7 week scan at the EPU today. Everything ok, except I'm 4 weeks further along than we thought! Re-dated at 11+3, due on 16 November. Eek! Was lovely to see a real baby, not just a flickering heartbeat, but very, very Shock

Desperately trying to get a dating/nuchal scan sorted out soon - it was meant to be on 1st June but obviously that's a bit on the late side now!

BTW, there's been another BFP on the conception thread - very excited, we seem to be having a lot of them these days!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 01/05/2012 06:57

Smegs how exciting! Congrats on a great scan, and YAY to skipping 4 weeks of pregnancy! Nicely done! Grin

I'm sooooo excited for the Musical / Wants / Jen babyfest that's coming up!! The excitement is non-stop in Brook-No-Argument-Ville!

pommedechocolat · 01/05/2012 09:02

smegs - 4 less weeks of pg is awesome!! Do you have unpredictable cycles or did you have a 'period' on the cycle before?? Sorry if thats too nosey, you don't have to tell me :)

NinjaChipmunk · 01/05/2012 09:07

smegs I've said it before but I'll say it again - its awesome news and although it must be a shock, I do hope its a nice one.
And brilliant news about tock as well. When its been a difficult road to get there, the shock is quite intense. I remember just being sat shaking on the sofa whilst on the phone to dp who was in germany or somewhere and neither of us could believe it. I think I had the shakes for about 2 hours!! (and is it really gross to admit I still have the positive pee stick?)

DreamingOfPeace · 01/05/2012 09:09

Hooray smegs and I'm as curious as pomme! And you get another scan sooner and hit the magic 12 weeks in just 4 days. Win win situation :-)

Three more babies soon :-)

ScrambledSmegs · 01/05/2012 10:09

pomme and dreaming no I don't have unpredictable cycles. I have a period tracker app (geek!) and from my records the 'fake' period was completely normal in all respects. I genuinely can't get my head round it, so am just going have to accept it as one of those things!

After quite a bit of stress I've managed to get a new scan date. A week on saturday. Can't believe it's quite so soon! I'll be 13+1 then. Have to have the downs blood test done the day before. It's just so strange, 'losing' 4 weeks of my pregnancy like that. All I could say to DH yesterday was "And you told me off for testing too early!". Grin

So excited about the 3 new babies due! Good luck musical/wants/jen!

NinjaChipmunk · 01/05/2012 10:14
