From my online calculating, that puts the due date at Jan 20th, ish, 2013.

This will be my second, DS is currently 20 months old.

I'm so exciiiiiiiiiiited and I can't tell anyone yet! Also, I am looking for a new job and we're talking about buying a house. Crazy, moi?

Hooray! congratulations everyone. I had a BFP on the 4th so my bambino is due 5/1/13. I have a DS 26mths and cant wait for a little friend for him :) No sickness yet (none with DS either) but I can almost feel my thighs growing as I type arrggggh. Must resist eating my body weight in crap time around!

Hi all hope everyone is feeling ok. I have no symptoms at all yet although I'm quite tired but not sure if thats because i have a 15 month old and work full time! I guess I'm bound to be tired whether I"m P or not!

Totally confused by my dates, my due date is 8th Jan because i have longer than usual cycles but lmp was 26/3. I've booked GP appt next Friday (I checked with receptionist if i needed one and she said yes) so might find out more then! Have a nice day everyone and congratulations to everyone joining!

Hi everyone, bit of an update... Had my scan (6+1) on Tues but they could only see sac so booked in again for Fri 18th so by then hopefully be able to see more.
Is anyone else feeling a bit like its not real yet still?

Lulabel - I'm in a similar situation. Lmp was 3rd april but due date 12th jan. I went to gp tues but found out nothing I didn't already know which was disappointing. Now just waiting on midwife. I got the impression I'd get an appointment quite quickly but if not I think I'm going to do an early scan.
Good luck for next Friday cosy! Completely agree it feels so unreal. I know it's not advisable to tell everyone but I've told waaaaay too many people just so it feels more real!

Yes feels very unreal still. I had to test again this morning to check I hadn't made it up.

With DS it felt unreal right up until the 12 week scan!

I took photos of the positive tests and keep having a quick peep on my phone

I have just discovered that managing the sicky feeling needs a careful balance of eating every couple of hours, but not eating like a big fat piggy. Have just stuffed face.....am now suffering!!

I second eating frequently. I also seem to be hungry at min anyway but if I go a few hours without something to eat I'm getting a headache and nausea. Yuck!

Its not sank in for me yet... that mixed with feelings of its really early days so Im scared something will go wrong :'(

Lora still hasn't really sunk in for me either, I found out Monday and can't quite believe it yet!

Doesn't feel real for me either! Am also now thinking about an early scan as on going to Vegas the week before my 12 week scan and thinking an early scan would really put my mind at rest if I knew that everything was going well!

I did another test this morning Very surreal, especially considering this one wasn't planned. Had coffee with some of the mums from church this morning and we were having a general chinwag and someone asked me if there was anything I needed prayer for. I just burst into tears! Told them, and I know I can trust them to keep it to themselves as I'm not ready for the world to know yet (hence nc on this thread!). They were utterly bloody lovely and I just know they will support me & dh through this, as they did so well with my last pregnancy.

It's funny, I woke up this morning panicking about how the hell I'll manage with 3 dc, getting 2 of them up and out of a morning is challenging enough! But I looked round the room and realised that out of the 7 of us there, there was only me and one other with fewer than 3, and I knew that if they could do it then I can too

Am 6 weeks today and wondering when to tell work. Wasn't an issue last time as I was a sahm, and with dc1 I didn't say anything until well past 12 weeks as I was in line for a promotion. Now though I work for a relatively small organisation and I feel, I dunno, sort of immoral about not saying anything. And I have my appraisal tomorrow. Going through the form tonight and there's the question: "What do you consider to be your most important tasks in the next year?" Am considering typing in "Recruiting my mat leave replacement" and handing it to my boss.....

Currently at dr hoping they will refer me to Epu. Had spotting when I wiped today, and my symptoms have disappeared overnight. Absolutely terrified.

Lora1982 my first scan didn't reveal much, just that the sac was where it should be but couldn't see the embryo so back in on 18th so hopefully will get to see the embryo this time.
It's so worrying, I am so eager to get to 12 weeks!

cosysocks just posted on thread I started which you'd posted on. Really fed up, had my scan today but only 5+5 or6. No foetal pole so long week ahead til next fri for next scan. Just wished they'd done scan later, feel so tearful and upset

Chickened out of telling work today - the latest objective was given was to be achieved by September so I didn't think it was strictly necessary. Decided I'd tell them after I've seen the GP.

On that note - I phoned the surgery to book an appointment. "There's a bit of a wait at the moment" says the receptionist, "the next available appointment is Monday 11th June" I said I couldn't wait that long, but couldn't say why as I was still in the office.

Lovely GP called me later on when I'd got home,we had a chat and she said actually she didn't need to see me anyway and told me to make an appointment with the midwife - am booked in for Tuesday afternoon. Gulp.

missy and bunty thinking if you and hoping you'll both be posting good news after your scans. bunty I had bleeding with my DD (bright red blood) and it was nothing, so hopefully that'll be the same for you.
