So I POAS and oh, wow, it's positive!
From my online calculating, that puts the due date at Jan 20th, ish, 2013.

This will be my second, DS is currently 20 months old.

I'm so exciiiiiiiiiiited and I can't tell anyone yet! Also, I am looking for a new job and we're talking about buying a house. Crazy, moi?

Time is just going really slowly so far. I'm trying not to worry to much yet thou it mite not be the worst case

cartoon sounds like you have the perfect attitude and there are loads of people on here who have had similarly inconclusive scan results.

happyhow hope the weather is good fot your trip and you should get away with a few white lies etc. and just try not to get stresed out at all.

I'm sure it won't be too bad. As I've only really had tiredness, I've been able to hide it quite easily in work. The other staff aren't happy about doing some of the activities either so I won't look out of place. I've been dreading it for weeks but I'm slowly starting to look forward to it!

I hope everybody gets good news with upcoming scans. I still don't know when mine is.

Aw man,this time nxt wk I would of had my scan!!aarrgghh!and yeeeey! Trying to just get a grip now and enjoy it,rather than freaking out!2 people at work today asked if I was pregnant as my tummy has popped out (lucky i am or it cud of been a little embarassing!)..im guessing that at 10 and a bit wks its more of a gas baby?? evening all! finally got my scan date, 10th July when I'll be 13+1. seems a bit late to have the nuchal test to me but I did phone the hosp and enquire and they said it would be fine and in any case they couldnt fit me in in any earlier anyway. so we shall see, 4 weeks to go, seems ages away!

I'm 9+2 today and my symptoms seem to have totally gone over the last day or two, I've gone from feeling like death and constantly nauseous to feeling fantastic... it's quite disconcerting, when I was feeling crap I would just want to feel better but now I do I am worried somethings wrong and feel guilty!

octane listening with interest to the discussion about an ELCS. I am also hoping to go down this route, I have a condition called Vestibulitis which I had a successful operation for last November, theres no way I would be pg without it as I couldn't stand the pain of DTD. I also had severe depression linked to this and am so scared that a VB would cause so much pain my depression would return. On a separate note, I broke my Coccyx when I was about 14 and it has never been right since, I always got bad pain in it around the time of the month and am worried that a VB would exacerbate this or even re-break it as I've heard of this happening. I did bring all this up with midwife who said I would be referred to consultant to discuss my gynaecological condition but so far I've not had an appointment through. I'm not good at self inflicted pain (or any pain for that matter), and am terrified they will make me have a VB and me or the baby will end up in danger as I just wont be able to push for fear of pain :(

craftygirly Get it totally with the sickness Im 10.2 and a couple of days ago my symptoms went,at first I was chuffed but then panicked!Then low and behold,today I had to run out of my class whilst teaching to puke!My MW said the hormones come hgn waves so u often get breaks,but also that sum women just stop early!..hope u get ur ELCS,I think Im in denial about the birth part!!x

Hi folks. Feeling bloody awful here! Had a blinding headache earlier so took a couple of paracetamol, but then went horribly dizzy and just felt very strange. Was at work. Told my line manager (she knows am pg) and she said I looked bloody awful - grey. Told me to sit down and then said I had to go home. I said I didn't feel like I could drive, at which point one of our senior managers chips in and says he'll take me, which was lovely of him. Got home just in time, just made it to the bathroom (sorry, tmi!). Glad I didn't throw up in his car though!

Had abandoned my car in the park & ride car park, also couldn't pick ds2 up from nursery, just sent dh a garbled email in explanation and headed straight to bed.

Only my line manager and her manager knew at work. SM who drove me home was either attempting to be discreet or being spectacularly thick, so I had to spell it out. Even after he asked how long I'd been feeling like this, and I said "oh, about 11 weeks"..

Hope I'm feeling better in the morning as it's me and ds2 here all day, that'll be fun if I feel like this

Cockadoodle that sounds rough. I'm getting dizzy spells too but not as bad as that. Hopefully all will subside in a few weeks.

I'm also feeling spectacularly poorly this morning. I really really hope it goes away this time after the first trimester. Last time the nausea stayed with me all the way through to birth. My mum was sick all the time with all of her pregnancies so I think its in the family . I'm now 11+2 so only another 32 weeks to go

My sickness comes and goes, but when it comes boy am I sick!!!

I was really sick with DS1 up until about 16 weeks so I hope that it doesn't last that long.

Another very annoying trait that I seem to have when PG is that I wake up about 1.30-2.30am and then don't get back to sleep until 4am. VERY ANNOYING!!! Especially when my approaching day is packed with conference calls and meeting that are sooo bloody boring!!.

Just to update, I called the Ante Natal Clinic at the hospital this morning cos although I only had a baby 10 months ago I cannot for the life of me remember what I am meant to do in terms of appointments etc. (I think I'm getting on their nerves already LOL). Anyway I asked about my booking in appointment cos I was sure I had had it by now last time and they advised that they couldn't fit me in until the 9th July. I'll be 15 weeks, apparently that's fine! Well, low and behold they just called and rearranged it for tomorrow woop woop! So at least I'll have my notes for my 12 weeks scan.

Good news today, went for scan and one litlle heart beating nicely . I am still spotting and i know its early and anything can happen but smiles today xx

Quick question for all you ladies, I woke up this morning with red marks on my boobs and a smaller red blotch like mark on my stomach? The redness was about a half inch think and in a line - looked a bit weird? Anyway - they have now disappeared??? I did have a hot water bottle earlier in bed but it wasn't in direct contact with my skin and just wondering what it might have been?

Am not overly concerned cause they have now gone but was a bit weird? Still feeling nauseous and tired which isn't great but looks like there are a lot of us suffering with it!

Ok, odd question coming up. I had my booking in app the other day and did the whole 'piss in a pot' malarkey. Do they actually check if you're still pregnant? I'm feeling totally paranoid that I've had an mmc as I've barely had any symptoms. The midwife dipped some strips in the sample but what was that for?

tiny think its only for protein n sugar. But maybe blood test does it?........

tiny it is def for protein,they check u haven't got a water infection as theyre common,loads of my friends had symptom free pregnancies so dnt worry

26th June, so not too long to wait. Just petrified of being in an antenatal unit surrounded by bumps and getting told I'm not pregnant. Sure I'm in a flap over nothing. Just did another home test and it's still +ive, but googling these things never helps! Really want to tell my mum this weekend as I won't see her face to face again for a while, but scary beans!
