AprilMeadow · 03/06/2012 22:58

Looks like that's me out as well. Have passed a clot, have abdo cramps and am bleeding.

Dr says they can't do anything until a scan on Wed which will more than likely just confirm that it's all over.

Never had bleeding in pg before & can't say I like it much :(

Good luck to you all on this wonderful journey. It is the most amazing one you will ever take & this sadness has made me treasure my 4 babies even more x

ChutesTooNarrow · 03/06/2012 23:14

My hearts go out to all the ladies that are having a tough time. I really do feel for you. Sending out lots of hugs.

Has anyone been to see what to expect when your expecting yet? I was a big teary crying mess by the end of it! If you are planning on going, I would definitely recommend waterproof mascara!!

mrsbugsywugsy · 04/06/2012 10:30

So sorry cogito, wishful and april.

I had a pretty tough day yesterday. I went and met my brother and SIL for lunch, and they said 'we've got a surprise for you'. Yes you've guessed it, my SIL is pregnant and has just had her 12 week scan confirming all is OK. They are lovely and I am really happy for them but it took everything I had to react normally and be pleased for them rather than bursting into tears. DP says I put on a good act, apart from disappearing to the loo for quite a long time afterwards.

I'm now avoiding calls from the rest of my family as I can't face talking to them and having to pretend to be happy and excited for them, when I just feel overwhelmed by sadness and worry for myself. I feel bad that I feel this way too.

On the plus side, I've had no more bleeding and my symptoms seem to be getting stronger, so maybe all will be well after all.

happyhow · 04/06/2012 10:50

Keep thinking positively bugsy.

I've had a weekend of trying to hide my pregnancy from my whole family - thank god for non-alcoholic kopperberg! On the plus side, the only symptoms I have are constant tiredness and feeling dizzy and weak if I've left it too long to eat so it's been relatively easy hiding it from work, friends and family. Smile

mrsbugsywugsy · 04/06/2012 11:00

oooh where do you get non alcoholic kopparberg happy?

happyhow · 04/06/2012 11:45

I got mine in Asda yesterday for £1.08 a bottle. They only had the pear one but that's Aberdeen! My sis got it in Manchester I think and she had the mixed berry one. That would probs have been Tesco. It tastes exactly the same so that's even better! You would get it in Ikea too I'm sure.

godzookey · 04/06/2012 12:28

hi All
I am totally new to Mumsnet but had a good read of everyone's messages. I am due with my first around the 14th Jan. I wanted to ask if anyone else suffers killer cramps - mine are particularly bad after lunch and dinner although I actually feel my best in the morning ( so far, touch wood!)

I went to the doctor's on Saturday who didn't fill me with confidence at all, just gave me a pot to p**s in and mentioned some card which she couldn't give me there and then but I can pick up tomorrow that gives me free medication during and after pregnancy? She also couldn't give me any advice about exercise, and just said ask at your gym. Hmm, bit non plussed really what has everyone else's experience been?

pmgkt · 04/06/2012 15:02

Hi godz. That wasn't very helpful of then was it. I am nearly 2 weeks ahead of you and I did have cramps but they stopped a while ago so with any luck they might soon come to an end. Or could it be wind, I get awful wind and pain, tmi sorry but its cos your whole digestive system slows down. I would think what you have is normal so don't worry. But maybe ring your midwife out of hours team if really concerned as they will be more reassuring. What exercise where you thinking? It maybe quickest to Google it.

cartoonface · 04/06/2012 16:51

godz I think u should discuss it with ur gym just incase. I think its that if you were exercising before u can carry on doing the same for as long as you feel comfortable. I don't think ur ment to get too hot and bothered thou so go slower than usual.
I don't think ur supposed to do abdominal excercises but check that.
How ever I am no longer exercising cos I'm scared of shaking things lose and yes I know how daft I sound

salt1 · 04/06/2012 17:16

godz my gp said as long as no high blood pressure or bleeding you can do anything you want to do. i think a midwife might be a bit more specific if you need advice on what excercises are not so good. nhs direct might help while you wait for your app x

Greedypiggy · 04/06/2012 19:18

Hi all! Have been away for a while and so sad to read about not so good news for some of us. So sorry wishful, april and cogito, hope you are ok. Take care brugmansia, hopefully everything would be fine. I have started having terrible nausea and generally feeling shit, feel like my stomach has become a bottomless pit, so hungry all the time. Had an appointment with my GP, he would arrange for a midwife appointment.

pmgkt · 04/06/2012 21:36

ok - MIL knows I'm pregnant, and this is number 2, but tonight she thought she would tell me that i'm getting fat.... not bump which it is, as I can feel it and I havent been eating too much, but i'm fat. bless!!!!!

Brugmansia · 04/06/2012 22:01

Not too damaged from my fall, just a very sore knee. Nausea kicked in today which I'm seeing as a good sign, unpleasant as it is.

AprilMeadow · 04/06/2012 22:48

Hi ladies,

Went to the hospital today after spending most of the night and morning passing clots (some palm sized). They scanned me and could see a big bleed but also a sac with 'stuff' in it. The scanner wasn't great in A&E so have to go back on Wednesday to see what's going on.

Was kind of hoping to have a yes no answer but am still in limbo. Tbh I'm surprised there was anything there. I'm not holding on to any hope as I don't want to be disappointed.

Bleeding has slowed for now but still having cramping. I really don't like not knowing what's going to happen.

Big hugs to all the other ladies having a tough time. I feel your pain xx

kim222 · 05/06/2012 09:15

I've wound myself into such a frenzy that I've booked an early scan for Saturday when i think I'll be 9 weeks. Not had any bleeding but not really having any symptoms apart from tiredness but think that's from not sleeping, just so worried as my sis has a missed miscarriage and just want so badly to see a little heartbeat. Scan date with nhs has come through for 2nd July, but we're on holiday in 2weeks (long haul flight) so just want to know either way before I fly. This early stage is so worrying and so stressful! Xx

pmgkt · 05/06/2012 09:21

Kim I did that this Saturday and it was nice to see even though I also had no cause for concern. I have nhs scan on 22nd so not as long a wait as you. Enjoy your holiday and do try and relax, and drink plenty ov the heat.

happyhow · 05/06/2012 09:34

I've only had tiredness as a symptom too but not going for an early scan. I'm just not stressing and assuming that everything is fine. Not everyone gets all the symptoms. I'm 9 weeks on Thursday. We don't find out our scan date until a few days before up here so I have no idea when mine is which is really annoying. Should hopefully find out in a couple of weeks. Smile
