So sorry cogito :( take care of yourself x

pmgkt · 02/06/2012 19:11

Sorry for your news cog. Try and relax.

pmgkt · 02/06/2012 19:12

I had my scan today, dates were spot on and looking healthy. Decided to tell in laws this afternoon and they were pleased.

mrsbugsywugsy · 02/06/2012 19:36

Cogito I'm so sorry to hear that. Please look after yourself.

Cheap, wishful and anyone else with bleeding, fingers crossed for you. It's such a worrying time, isn't it?

Cartoon sorry to hear about your mmc, how awful to get to 12 weeks then find out.

I too have been welcoming symptoms such as nausea and wind - lovely. Does anyone else have one boob much bigger than the other?

I have become convinced that if the baby survives it will be a boy. Secretly I have always wanted a girl, but the funny thing is that I am now happy about it being a boy.

I went for lovely walk in the countryside to take my mind off things, which helped. Saw lots of baby lambs Smile. I thought I was going to fall asleep at the wheel driving home though (DP can't drive).

SquealyB · 02/06/2012 19:49

Cogito my heart goes out to you both. I really hope you both get to have some time together this weekend. I am so sorry x

PricklyPickle · 02/06/2012 19:50

Cogito I'm so sorry, hopefully by now you're in some nice country hotel with a glass of wine in hand. Give yourself time to be sad, we're all still here if you want to offload.

SpringFlowers · 02/06/2012 21:17

Sorry Cogito, it's so lousy. I was very sad when I mc and had a difficult time. Take it really easy and be kind to yourself. I hope you have lots of support in rl.

TootieMaroo · 02/06/2012 21:42

Cogito I'm delurking to send a huge hug to you and your DH. I hope you can get away for the weekend to somewhere lovely.

I had forgotten how stressful this whole early pregnancy stage is! I was on this thread at the beginning as DC2 is due on 3 January 2013 but I've been paranoid about getting too excited so haven't posted in a while. I've been reading everyone else's posts and am delighted about all the good news and how big this thread has become! DH and I are just waiting for our scan on 22 June before we tell anyone or celebrate. Can someone please add me to the list?

TootieMaroo (32) DC2 3/1/2013 scan date 22/6/2013

Thinking positive thoughts and sending hugs to everyone Smile

lazycoo · 02/06/2012 22:29

LilBlondePessimist · 02/06/2012 23:35

Cogito, really really sorry to hear your news. Hope you and dh manage to have a relaxing weekend somewhere nice with lots of wine xx

wishfulthinking1 · 03/06/2012 07:22

Oh girls! I'm so sorry- I'm completely self obsessed at the moment! The spotting has been fairly light since Tuesday evening but I just wiped now and there's some serious blood. I'm just gutted and so so sad. Ive got the scan Tuesday but I simply can't imagine it will be good news. Shit shit shit :-(

LilBlondePessimist · 03/06/2012 08:34

Wishful, how are you now? Are you in any pain? Keep thinking positive thoughts, and hopefully it won't be bad. x

Brugmansia · 03/06/2012 09:54

I've had a bit more blood this morning. Not loads but red not brown.

SpringFlowers · 03/06/2012 10:18

Oh dear, I hope you are both ok Wishful and Brugmansia. If you're really worried you can always go to A & E. Are you in any pain?

PricklyPickle · 03/06/2012 11:46

Wishful and Brugmansia I'm keeping everything crossed for you both, just remember bleeding seems to be really common, loads of people have it in the early stages, both a little and a lot, don't lose faith. I know its what everyone says but that's because its true.

I did something that made me feel wonderful today, I finally went out and got some bigger sized bras - just from Primani as my norks will probably get even bigger, but I feel fab now my nipples aren't in constant danger of escaping! For those of you who are still squeezing yourselves into your pre-knocked-up bras, get yourselves to the shops.

wishfulthinking1 · 03/06/2012 12:54

Hi all-
Sorry to bearer of shit news but I'm now definitely miscarrying- heavy bleeding and severe abdominal pain. Spoke to out of hours docs who agreed it sounds like textbook mc- DF has been sent out for pain killers- I'm in agony!! Feel v. Angry about the who business but reassured that we got Pg straight away do hopefully it shan't be too long next time. I'm glad we have the wedding to look forward to and next week off work to recover.

Best of luck to you all- I hope you all have very straightforward pregnancies - thanks for all your advice and kind words over the last week or so.

X

salt1 · 03/06/2012 13:05

sending you lots of love wishful, and i hope you have a wonderful wedding x

Brugmansia · 03/06/2012 14:18

No more bleeding so far today but I haven't helped matters by being a nowhere clutz and falling down the stairs this morning.

Hope you feel better soon wishful.

LetThereBeCupcakes · 03/06/2012 16:47

So sorry to Cogito and Wishful - take good care of yourselves.

Burgmansia are you OK? I fell down the stairs once. Backwards. 'Twas a bit of a shock!

PricklyPickle · 03/06/2012 17:03

Oh Wishful I'm so sorry. I hope the pain doesn't last too long. Just take it easy for the week.

I hope you have a lovely wedding.

Birdies · 03/06/2012 17:08

I'm so sorry too wishful. I was worried for your when you said how much blood there was and how you couldn't imagine it was good news as that's almost exactly what I said to people when I had my mc. I hope the pain doesn't last too long and that everything works out for you perfectly next time xx

SquealyB · 03/06/2012 17:24

Wishful - so sorry for your loss. Hope the pain subsides and you get a chance to take care of yourself x

ChutesTooNarrow · 03/06/2012 17:37

BuntyCollocks · 03/06/2012 19:24
