So I POAS and oh, wow, it's positive!
From my online calculating, that puts the due date at Jan 20th, ish, 2013.

This will be my second, DS is currently 20 months old.

I'm so exciiiiiiiiiiited and I can't tell anyone yet! Also, I am looking for a new job and we're talking about buying a house. Crazy, moi?

Spring how far in were you?

Not really any pain at the moment but felt very "jumbley" in my tummy yesterday. It's much heavier than anything so far, have switched to a proper pad - in the twenty or so minutes between first loo trip and shower there was already some on the pad.

I think my stocks of "it might not be anything bad" were exhausted throughout the spotting. If there is a positive though I'm so glad for the long weekend - I think some time just for us to be a bit down and weepy is much needed and would be hard to be chirpy at work...

Oh cheap- I'm so sorry. I know what you mean about using up your 'perhaps it's still ok' reserves- but anecdotally many women have had bleeding and gone on to have fine pregnancies. I know it's weekend but please do call out of hours dr if you need to- I was surprised that my scan has been organised for bhol Tuesday- perhaps you could be seen today?

I think i may have passed a clot today- just like a small bogie (sorry!) but I know that clots aren't good...... HOLD ON BABY!!!!!

Oh Wishful and Cheap my fingers are crossed for you both, and that goes for anyone else having problems today.

Today I have celebrated the long weekend by puking for the first time at 9+4! Yay . DS thought it was funny and he wanted to chuck his toothbrush in the loo as well (I stopped him and DH took him away after that). I am now doing 2nd breakfast in peace as they've both gone to Brands Hatch for the day.

I have to express some milk for DS bedtime and then I'm off down to Folkestone with my dad to watch the airshow.

Cheap and Wishful - im thinking of you both and keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you - I really hope everything is ok, and you both manage to be seen quickly xx

Cheap - I started having brown spotting at 5+1 and have had it everyday since. The red bleed was when I was 5+6. I believe that to be considered significant enough to be a potential mc you would soak four pads on an hour and have pain. When I previously mc at less than five weeks the pain was more than usual period paid - I had to take painkillers. Hope this helps and that you are ok x

Haha- what have we come to when we congratulate each other on puking?!? This pregnancy business is ridiculous!!

I'm trying to stay reassured by the fact that it's only brown spotting- Feel relieved to have scan on tuesday- at least I should have an idea either way and if I am miscarrying I'll be able to brace myself for it mentally IYSWIM.

Cejay age 32, this will be our second child due 16th jan, scan 4th July.

I got struck down with a nasty sickness bug these last couple of days but on the mend now. Thinking of those that have had some bleeding and hoping everything is all fine for you x

Symptom report here: nausea - mornings yes but also any time during the day!, and tiredness. However if I didn't have a toddler and full-time work I don't think tiredness would be so much of a symptom.

Cartoon she said sometimes finding out can cause it to start but I have an appointment on Wednesday when they'll go through the options if nothing happens. I'm intending to get very drunk so don't know if that'll cause anything

Yes I think that's wot started mine. I was bleeding heavily 4 days later. I actually only had one scan. I knew then there was no hope. Even thou they booked me a 2nd to see if it had grown. I didn't find the actual mc painful at all physicly but did go to hospital because the blood loss was making me feel faint. I had a d&c the next day just to be sure. Which wasn't too bad either. For me I was pleased to not have a horrible 10day wait to confirm wot I already knew. I wanted it over as soon as poss.
On the plus side I am preg again already so I hope that gives u a little comfort. Personally that is the only thing that made me feel better
