Sounds like we're all going through it...
I've just had a complete hormonal whinge to DH, which was totally pathetic and girly, you know the kind where you can hear how irrational you're being ('None of my clothes fit me...', 'I feel lazy...', 'My boobs are huge...' - SO woe is me) But, you keep talking anyhow, just to get your weak point across... Which totally gets lost in flurries of 'What I'm trying to say is...'
Poor thing.
I've apologised and told him that under no uncertain circumstances should he listen to me until next time Grin (bless x)

Anyone else having irrational moments? Blush

Birdies · 18/05/2012 19:10

I've got the attention span of a goldfish at the mo (is it a goldfish?!) so I want to comment on everyone's posts but am struggling to keep up haha!

pmgkt I totally agree about not feeling pregnant. Despite me having an almost constant feeling of nausea (just in the background, I never feel I will be sick), it still hardly seems real. And then when i lose the feeling sick for a bit i get all paranoid and want it back! It's almost unfair we have to wait so long for the first free scan, but then when our parents had us they probably didn't have any! I'm having a private one next week for reassurance, but if I had never had an mc before I prob would be feeling differently and would wait.

sprongflowers I think you were the person who posted about being exhausted. Oh my word I'm absolutely knackered. I had one day this week where I felt i could barely get off the sofa. The thing is though, once I got out with my DD to a baby group I didn't feel tired or sick - I think distraction works for me.

angelfairy I can prob be irrational at the best of times, so it just multiplies when very hormonal! I also realise when I'm doing it I'm starting to sound like a looney but i keep going anyway! Oh well, at least we have an excuse!

Have a lovely weekend everyone

CraftyGirly · 18/05/2012 19:16

sorry to hear about allt he bad symptoms you are all getting! on the flip side, I don't have any symptoms at all and sort of wish I did :(

I did another test yesterday just to 'make sure' again as it feels so strange, if it werent for the absence of AF and +POAS I wouldn't even know!

I'm 5+4 and seeing midwife for my booking in appointment on the 28th, when I'll be 7 weeks! just hoping everythings ok in there, I feel a bit weird not to have any symptoms!

sharedscitless · 18/05/2012 20:25

I am shattered. Went to bed when the kids did the other night and slept for 13 hours solid Shock

Had to confess to someone I was pregnant today - went to the dentist with toothache and he said I needed a filling. He's done a temporary patch job and said I need to go back and have it drilled and filled properly once I've had the baby, it's not safe to do it now. Still bloody hurts Sad

And dh got a new job today so I went straight out to buy bubbly to celebrate. And I can't drink the bastard stuff Angry Sad Envy

Pinklaydee1972 · 18/05/2012 22:44

Can I join too please, I'm 40 and 5 weeks preg on Sunday, unexpected third child. Dd 13, DS 9.

Dad not interested so going it alone

eDD date 20.1.13

theboutiquemummy · 19/05/2012 07:09

Oh sharedcities my DH had kept a bottle of champs to celebrate so he cracked it but it has been so long it was like sherry bless him GrinGrinGrin not at all unhappy cos I can't drink !

Incaminka · 19/05/2012 07:46

Hi pink
I'm 42 and this is my first. :-) Looks like you already did a good job w 1st 2 so going it alone could be fun. Dads often wig out and get scared before birth, (my partner did with his first - ran away on tour in the States!) but may change afterwards. My partner is going to be a grandad and a dad within three months of each other, but he's a chilled boy these days....

theboutiquemummy · 19/05/2012 08:18

Anyone else feeling a little bit Meh Sad today can't tell anyone nothing's really happening and not really any symptoms meh meh meh !

Pinklaydee1972 · 19/05/2012 09:02

Am scared had red blood this morning, hope I'm not losing it Sad

DontmindifIdo · 19/05/2012 10:41

Pinklady, I hope you're ok.

LetThereBeCupcakes · 19/05/2012 12:04

Pinklaydee, how far along are you? Some bleeding is normal I think. I have no idea really though as this is my first. Hope you are OK and can see GP or somebody if you need.
Dontmindifido - that "mild travel sickness" is exactly how I've been feeling! I don't mind though - it's fairly mild and I quite like the reminder.
5 weeks along today! I'm spending the day de-cluttering. Deep joy!

Lora1982 · 19/05/2012 12:22

im not sure if its morning sickness or cos i had the folic acid stuff on an empty stomach...

redjumper · 19/05/2012 19:19

MrsBayley · 20/05/2012 09:51

Hi, can I join? I'm 31 and up the duff for the first time!
I'm 5 weeks ish so I think I'm due on 19th jan 2013.
It's all a bit weird, I'm not sure I believe it yet. But, the big sore boobs and 3 positive tests say that I am.

tinyeyes123 · 20/05/2012 10:14

Hello, another newbie here! Due on 12 Jan, first baby. Not really got any symptoms, a few twinges and a general awareness of my lady bits at all times! Doesn't feel very real yet!

Incaminka · 20/05/2012 12:24

Gone up TWO bra sizes, and am only 7 weeks! So much more comfy in new bra! Lol

SalN · 20/05/2012 14:38

sharedscitless · 20/05/2012 15:14

I only ever post on here to whinge Blush

How's everyone else feeling? Only I feel proper lousy. Not sure if it's related or not but I feel kinda flu-y - can't get warm, shivers, aches all over, had a sore armpit that I thought was lymph nodes but has turned into a massive spot And belly ache too, like period pain. I remember some twinging in the early days with the other 2 but nowt like this.

Gah. I'm boring myself now. Dh has taken dc2 to do the food shopping, dc1 is doing his homework so I can take some time to rest and put my feet up but I feel so guilty about the housework I'm ignoring!

cogitosum · 20/05/2012 15:47

scaredscitless I was like that yesterday and today have full blown fluey cold... I've been alternating between feeling cold and shivery and needing windows open as feel hot and stuffy! I think tomorrow is going to have to be a duvet day - not ideal having days off work already!

cogitosum · 20/05/2012 15:48

*salN' - nice to "meet" you! I'm also knackered... seems to be main symptom so far!

Pinklaydee1972 · 20/05/2012 15:53

My bleeding stopped oo, browny stuff tho. Did another HPT just to make sure n very strong line so feel better

DontmindifIdo · 20/05/2012 16:32

PinkLady - yay!

SalN - hello! What sort of advice do you need? How to access healthcare etc here or how to meet other mums?

MrsBayley and redjumper (and anyone else I've missed) hello!

Also have stupidly sore boobs and armpits.

I'm feeling tired and bloated and only 5.5 weeks, I didn't even know I was pg at 5 weeks with DS, if I feel this knackered now, how am I going to cope at 36 weeks (which is when my hips stopped working last time round)?

Also feeling a little deflated, my parents are staying this weekend so told them. Last time round there was tears, excitement, celebrations etc, this time round it was "oh, lovely, now did I tell you about [random story about someone my mum went to uni with] " Seems grandchildren are a little 'old news' now. Sad still, they might be a little less 'full on' when I'm in hospital this time...

However, DH is suitably excited.

Now, would it be a little 'tempting fate' to order this in the sale? January baby so will need a maternity coat that will last few the first few months too... I reckon I could BF under this too without having to get cold nips from feeding on a bench in f*cking freezing February because the LO wants milk now

SpringFlowers · 20/05/2012 18:07

Sorry to hear about all the bleeding. Hope it woks out for everyone. I had some sludgy brown cm this morning but have had nothing since. I still feel really sick and am exhausted so I hope that's a good thing. I didn't have any bleeding in any of my previous pregnancies so it's all a bit different. I don't have any pain which is good but I do feel lousy. My head feels odd, cloudy.

theboutiquemummy · 20/05/2012 18:17

dontmindifido Grin I feel knackered too anyone else ?
