Hopefully should be home by 9 It's a one off tonight.

pmgkt · 15/05/2012 20:30

Littlemiss try not to worry. i had a week of bleeding followed by another few days spotting about 3 weeks later and my DS is now 22 months, so its not always bad news. try and relax, but i also know that goes against our natural insticts.

Nobhead · 15/05/2012 20:42

Littlemiss, I have started with some light bleeding today and it's still going. I have been reassured that this is pretty commen and is more often than not nothing to worry about (although I was panicked this afternoon). I haven't had any major pain and it isn't bright red (sorry if TMI) I'm going to the early bleed clinic at the hospital tomorrow so fingers crossed everything is ok. Hope your ok- I'm resting on the couch, try to get as much rest as you can.

DrillingCat · 15/05/2012 22:39

I got a BFP a couple of weeks ago - think I'm due Jan 3rd but DD is 7 and my dates changed at every scan with her! Been a MN lurker for years but never posted before so seems like as good a reason as any to finally take the plunge!

Lora1982 · 16/05/2012 09:04

Disco on of the first clues I got was clear skin... I was like 'erm..... usually getting spots around now but ive not yay!!'

Lora1982 · 16/05/2012 09:07

Dum... i replied to a post on the first page thinking it was today :-\

Hope everyone is well anyway! xxxx No morning sickness for me... unless you count the folic acid making me feel sick

Incaminka · 16/05/2012 11:00

Fingers crossed for Nobhead and Littlemissimpatient today, feeling for you both. I keep having anxieties, and I guess I won't relax till after week 14, when I lost the last one.

Hello and welcome Drillingcat!

Lora, I don't have morning sickness either, and I almost wish I had for reassurance! No spots either, but I do have a cold sore :-( Not my first though, so shouldn't be a problem to the little bean.

Lulabel27 · 16/05/2012 12:43

Thinking of you nobhead and littlemiss - i hope everything is ok x

Nobhead · 16/05/2012 14:05

Hi all, not good news I'm afraid. I woke up this morning and my bleeding was heavier and I had cramps. I got to the hospital EBP clinic and they gave me an internal scan and told me that pretty much everything had come away but still had some bleeding still to come. I'm a believer in things happening for a reason and this pregnancy wasn't meant to be, we are going to keep trying though. Good luck to you all and thanks for the support and kind thoughts from everyone.

Incaminka · 16/05/2012 14:09

So sorry to hear Nobhead - this happened to me two years ago. I told myself the same thing, that if it wasn't going to do well inside me, it wasn't going to well in the outside world, but it is still really sad. Go easy on yourself and good luck for the future.

Lulabel27 · 16/05/2012 14:16

So sorry to hear your news nobhead i hope you manage to get some rest and take care of yourself.

Nobhead · 16/05/2012 14:24

Thanks guys, i'm resting on the couch just going on MN and you tube (I need cheering up Sad). It's hard because you try not to get too excited until your 1st scan but you can't help thinking about names and making little plans and everything. I've taken the rest of the week off work so just going to relax.

AngelFairy · 16/05/2012 15:13

So sorry nobhead, how very disappointing Sad
Some wise words here, your well being is most important and don't think it weak to grieve if you need to. A wk off work is a good shout.
Take care of yourself x

BuntyCollocks · 16/05/2012 15:31

So sorry, nobhead, had my fingers crossed for you. :( Big, unmn'y hugs.

happyhow · 16/05/2012 16:09

Hi everyone! Smile

Mind if I join the party? I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and have a doctors appointment in the morning - mostly for my own reassurance as had a mc in Jan so I'm thinking I'll feel happier once I've seen a healthcare professional! Surprisingly enough, I'm feeling pretty damn chilled out about it all... I've gotten over the initial excitement and just trying to make sure no one at work guesses!

Going by the Internet, I'm due on 10th Jan. xx

Fletch1 · 16/05/2012 16:29

Hello everyone!

Finally went ot the Drs yesterday and she claims my EDD is 1/1/13.

I've just been scanning over all the posts that I've missed (not been on here for a while) and noticed a few of you talking about when bumps start to show with 2nd child. I was about 5months before I got a bump with DD1 and hoping I can hold out for a while witht his one. I'm a bridesmaid in the middle of July (I'll be around 15 weeks) and the bride would KILL me if she found out I was PG. The worst part is she is not even really a friend - her DH-to-be is be DH's best friend and since she has no friends of her own I've been 'conned' into being chief bridesmaid :( I'm am just praying that the dress will still fit me (wishful thinking on my part??)

newbie6 · 16/05/2012 16:32

So sorry to hear your news nobhead, thinking of you. I think the way you are thinking about it is the right approach although I know from experience, it never makes it any less hurtful. Take care of yourself and wish you lots of luck for the future. Sending positive thoughts to you. xxx

littlepinkfizz · 16/05/2012 17:15

Thinking bout you Nobhead x

Nobhead · 16/05/2012 17:17

Thanks pink. I'm doing ok, waiting for DH and DS to come home they should be back any time now. Me and DH are going to get a bottle of wine tonight and have a good chat, I'm quite looking forward to it.

Lora1982 · 16/05/2012 17:24

sorry Nobhead xxx Your right though about the fate thing if its not meant to be theres a reason etc... probably doesnt make it feel better though.

Im on tenterhooks for no other reason other than stats Ive read of what could or might happen but I have to think I cant worry about things I cant change and have no control over.

Hello and congrats newbies :-D gonna go and have an afternoon nap :-D

ibuyreadymademash · 16/05/2012 18:44

Hello, glad to have found yeese all!
Thinking of you nobhead.

DC3 due on 9.1.12.
Doctor's appointment Friday, maybe it will feel real then!
Hope you all doing well today!

ibuyreadymademash · 16/05/2012 18:45

oops, make that 9.1.13, baby brain already!!(that my excuse)!!

AngelFairy · 16/05/2012 20:19

Ok, why do I worry when I feel great and then worry more when nausea is kicking my ass? Huh? I mean, surely there's got to be some logic in there somewhere??
After a very rare and welcomed productive day, I cooked, ate and then almost fell asleep standing up. Nausea then robbed me of a program I've been waiting to see, and so two ginger biscuits later, I'm lay in bed totally wiped out!
Think I might have to follow your prescription Lora and take an afternoon nap x

((waves to new BFPers - Congrats!))

PricklyPickle · 16/05/2012 21:49

Hi ibuy congrats on your bfp. Do you really buy ready made mash? I'm a mash purest myself.

New and unpleasant symptom of the week is...tmi alert... lots of wind. Its both ends and i can't stop it. I feel like a human wind sock Blush

cogitosum · 16/05/2012 22:25

I'm really sorry nobhead.
Prickly I'm exactly the same with the wind Blush
Mash I've been referring to next year as 2012 all year (before I could blame baby brain) can't seem to quite get my head round it being 2012 already!
