Is anyone else feeling every cough and sneeze in their pelvic floor? Do I need to stock up on Tenants Lady yet? Blush

MyDaydream · 25/04/2012 09:29

My boobs are getting more and more painful everyday, if I catch them accidentally, which I never really noticed I did until now, it's agony. I can't even hug DP properly!

I can't remember who was talking about lemon and ginger tea on the last thread, but whoever it was thank you! I picked some up today and it's delicious. Can start having drinks before bed again.

FriendofDorothy · 25/04/2012 09:36

PurplePidjin I think you mean Tena Lady... Tenants Lady is something totally different I suspect!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 25/04/2012 09:37

hi everyone, thought i'd pop in and catch up, been super busy decorating these bras for the moonwalk, very exciting and cool though :)

the nausea is there constantly but i haven't been sick yet touch wood

i do look pregnant though, cant breathe my stomach in, and it doesn't look like bloating, but i remember being in maternity clothes early on last time. Might pick myself up some maternity jeans to feel comfy :)

hope everyone is ok, i went to the gp yest and apparantly i'm due Dec 21st not 19th, so i'll be 6 weeks on friday :)

PrunellaDeVille · 25/04/2012 09:54

kiwi good luck with the words
count sounds like you're feeling very fragile, try to stay positive, this time will pass

PurplePidjin · 25/04/2012 09:56

Ha, blasted autocorrect!

Daydream, I had that a couple of weeks ago. 2 lightly padded tshirt bras for £6 in Primark did the job nicely, although I recommend you go up a size as they're not terribly generous :)

I'm hoping to start looking at real live maternity clothes with my mum next week - 9 weeks on Friday!

CODwidow · 25/04/2012 10:05

7 weeks today, seems to be passing so slowly but booking in next Thursday.
I'm still in my normal clothes at the mo and apart from my boobs having grown a little I don't look any different. So quite easy to keep it to myself! :)

Really wish I had a early scan booked now but trying to be patient and wait, what will be will be regardless, I guess.

Ms isn't too bad better than I remember with the others either that or it'll hit on the weekend when we're away!

PurplePidjin · 25/04/2012 10:06

With this cold, I've been in either jammies of joggers since Friday night so no idea if my jeans still fit Blush

MyDaydream · 25/04/2012 10:07

purple my pregnancy book tells me I need to be doing pelvic floor exercises, try and do them when I go to the loo. If a little bit of squeezing and a few extra seconds in the loo will stop embarrassing sneezes later down the line it'll be worth it.

And on the bras I'm off to buy some new ones on Monday, need to get measured, was pushing fitting into my current bras before I was pregnant this has just knackered it. Will have a look in Primark, I've tended to write off their bras because they always look too flimsy to give me any kind of support, but worth a shot for £6.

PurplePidjin · 25/04/2012 10:10

I knew they'd only do a few weeks max, so that was fine. I'll get properly measured when things have settled a bit - there's a very good independent department store nearish, very experienced fitters (take one look and grab something off the shelf!)

cherrypiew3 · 25/04/2012 11:14

COD and Livismum thank you I feel at little bit better about it today when we get a bit further along I am going to sit dh down and have a little chat about how the night times are worrying me. Dh is a lovely man I am very lucky and think he will help me out when he comes in like you dh does Livis.

Had my GP appointment last night and she also worked my date out as 12th Dec. I am 7 weeks today COD I am also finding it slow going have to wait for the mw to ring me.

Stacks · 25/04/2012 11:15

Morning all. I got home last night to find a pack of pg things had been posted out. Had info on all the tests and things I'll be offered, what hospitals are available etc. Also my booking in and scan appointments - 21st and 30th May. Looking forward to them, and it all seeming a bit more real.

CODwidow · 25/04/2012 11:54

I find myself worrying about the school run as dh leaves at 7am so I have to feed and dress everyone and get them to school on time but then I worried about this last time round and as long as ds had a feed at 6:30-7:10ish he was fine until I was back plus I'll have all other ds' at school so hopefully it'll be quite relaxed once their all dropped off.

Feeling tired today but must start packing and getting all the washing done, yey! :)

PurplePidjin · 25/04/2012 12:22

Btw, those tshirt bras are a 36D and won't fit me again. One white, one black both worn for 2-3 days then washed. Free to a good home, just pm your address :)

blackcurrants · 25/04/2012 13:01

Morning everyone! It's a breezy 4 degrees here in New Jersey - after being in the twenties last week, this is a bit of a comedown! I'd gone and put all my cardies away and dug out my summer clothes -that'll teach me! :)

I can't remember when I started wearing maternity clothes. I am actually thinking about applying for jobs while pregnant, so I don't want to be too obvious about it for a while. I'm rather large so I don't think a baby bump will be too prominent for the first 4 or 5 months, but some of my jeans are definitely on the tight side already, which at 6 weeks just means nasty bloating, I suppose. I was last 'very' pregnant in high high summer, and this time around I'll be doing my last trimester in sleet and snow and freezing rain, so I will have to improve my selection of warm clothes. I expect I can get some decent maternity tights and make some of my maternity dresses work, at least.

It's quite fun thinking about this. And a bit daunting! I might go and have a roam over the boxes in the attic this weekend Grin

brooke89 · 25/04/2012 13:15

I feel huge already and am struggling to hide my belly already, first day back at work today and 3 people have asked if I am pregnant already! I'm putting it down up bloating!

backwardpossom · 25/04/2012 13:19

Saw midwife again this morning to have blood tests done - have a sore arm now. I also got a letter through the door this morning to say my scan is on 28th May (11+4) - I only booked in last week. Efficiency in the NHS - who'd have thunk it.

loolo · 25/04/2012 13:53

Hi - first ever post on here! I've recently found out I'm pregnant, due date of 10th December on my dates. After taking two years to conceive my son I'm amazed and overjoyed that this one has happened so easily! My Son has just turned 1, last week. I'm still bf. is anyone else here still bf older child? I had a quick look into it and, from what I've read, many babies self wean during a new pregnancy due to changes in taste and quantity of milk. Have any others had experience? Feeling pretty good in pregnancy so far, a bit of sickness but feeling remarkably calmer and more relaxed than the last time :)

mwahmwah · 25/04/2012 14:14

Hello all, newbie here... Due 23rd or 30th Dec, ofcourse I can't remember when my last period was - just that it was a sunday oops!
DC number 3 and am utterly terrified - the leap from 2-3 seems bigger than 1-2! Gonna have to give up the ft jobwhich will be brilliant, but its a big change. Trying to glue my lips shut and not blab at the moment, but desperate to tell someone! Loolo, I breast fed ds till he was 16months, and he gave it up himself, would imagine ur lo will too xxx (tho no experience of b/f whilst preggers)

cluelessnchaos · 25/04/2012 14:25

Hey guys just to say I miscarried at the weekend, I never got round to adding myself to the list as I couldn't get the kids off the computer long enough. I'm ok and thankful for my four beautiful children and I hope you all hearty, healthy pregnancies. Purplepidjin, thank you for being a breath of fresh air and making me laugh
