Early poas-er seeks other December 2012 due dates

I've just had the official confirmation from my digital clearblue test after many a faint line. I have calculated my due date as 5th December and conception started with a curry, how much information am I supposed to share? Boobs aren't sore yet, just a bit bigger. Have had a horrific cold/flu/sore throat for a week and I am very very irrational.

Anyone else out there?

Well, I went to the GP this morning (I live in Oz, I'm not crazy ) and finally got my referral to the midwives, not before she'd charged me for 2 consultations and blood tests.

My iron level is already pretty low so I will be stocking up on Spatone when I'm back in the UK next week. Is anyone else feeling quite bloated already? I can't blame it on the baby, since it's the size of a sesame seed!

Been given Monday 23rd for scan date. Think I'm approx 5 weeks today. Would be due around 7th Dec, but would probably have CS earlier than that, as have had 2 CS in the past.

Still in a panic most of the time. No real symptoms other than boobs been a bit sore on and off.

It's sleet ad snow here today! It was boiling hot last week. Madness!

Thanks for adding me seymour and it makes me appreciate the nhs to hear stories of doctors costing! Sleepy I too have a scan on that date.

Six weeks last Friday since start of last period, mad dash to the supermarket first thing Saturday morning to get a test before I wet myself, test in supermarket loo while dp does the shop. Bfp. I saw the nurse on monday who confirmed it for me, and am seeing the GP tomorrow to get referred. Hoping to get a scan before May 19th because I really want to give my Gran a copy of the pic for her 91st birthday!

I'm very scared. This is an accidental pregnancy and I have absolutely no idea what to expect

DKNY i've poas-ed every day since my BFP (having bought 50 of them for less than £8 i feel free to do so, doubt i'd let the craziness overtake so much if they were £10 a time) lines getting darker on each, it's very reassuring while the symptoms are so sparse.

another lousey nights sleep and migraine going to ask pharmacist if thiose 4head sticks are ok to use in pregnancy...think my eyesight is a little worse too so going to book an eye test. Ive already started to think about whether it is best to go for a VBAC or a ELCS this time round. Last time my labour was 36hours and never progressed beyond 1cm dilated and ended in a EMCS so not sure what to do this time round xx

I've joined a Drs and am seeing midwife on 17th (will be 6 weeks pregnant).
If I didn't get that appt she had none till May so really lucky.
I think we'll only have 2 children so I'm going to try and enjoy this pregnancy.

I see the dr tomorrow to sort out referrals. What happens next, please?

Oh no! I wont see midwife until 18th May as we're away on holiday from the 26th, I was hoping I would see her before so I can see a consultant quickly as I had some of my cervix removed in December due to precancerous cells. I know there is a slight increase in miscarriage but was hoping to be reassured and I'll be around 12-13 weeks then. I've booked a private scan in for just before we go but a bit nervous about it all really. I wish we had more control over our healthcare in pregnancy.

Strawberry I had loop diathermy for Cin3 about 6 weeks before my previous pregnancy. I asked then when I could try and Dr doing procedure said straight away.
My midwife put me as highrisk just in case, so was initially consultant led. I only saw a consultant once though. He said if you've had loop diathermy once you shouldn't be higher risk than anyone else. So I didn't need to see him again.
They ll only monitor and put in a cervical stitch if you've had a previous miscarriage and he told me there were no signs to look for.

My Ds was 3 days overdue and fast labour (apparently scar tissue may slow dilation but didn't for me).

I've since found out a private ultrasound clinic does reassurance scans of cervical length, so you could look into that?

Issimma I'll have 2 under 3. Currently in tantrum territory and my 'lazy' afternoon has been craft (Easter cards), painting and playdpugh. Less tiring to keep Ds occupied- think this pregnancy will be quite different!!
I've said this will be my last as practically it should be ...

issimma I don't know if its the next one that she had available she just said 'i'll see you then' I'm a bit wimpy you see and I just sort of go along with things but I wish I'd said I would like to see her before. She did give me her mobile number if I needed anything or wanted to ask any questions which is nice though (and certainly didn't happen in my last pg).

Thanks cashmere that's really reassuring, I had cin3 too and quite a big chunk removed, the year before I had lots of polyps and tissue removed from my womb so I'm a gynaecologists dream. Do you mind if I ask whether your next smear after your first dc was clear and how soon you had it?

Strawberry- I think it was about 2 months after to give things time to settle. It was due when I was pregnant but obviously didn't happen and they assume they've removed all they need to (although the bit removed didn't have clear edges). Then 6 months after that at Gp. Then yearly at Gp (just had that one). All have been fine.

Evening ladies! Still about 2ft snow here so I've been snuggled at home all day with my duvet :o currently on couch with dh and dd who look very cosy. How is everyone today? I'm feeling goodish just a bit nauseous with enormous throbbing boobs

Morning everyone. Bone crushingly tired this morning - despite being in bed at 7.30 and up at 7. You forget how tiring all this is! And the nausea and the big boobs. ;) Loving every second of it - its my last one.

Morning all, I've added myself to the list, although not feeling to confident this morning as I've had light brown bleeding since last night , although Dr Google seems to show loads of other people experiencing the same and going onto have their babies. Anyone else having this?

Lauraloo09, Quills, Issimma, and BigredIndia thanks so much for you good wishes about my scan - I got to see the little nugget which I didn't expect to so early. Sorry not to reply sooner but I had my parents staying. Issimma I hope you're not panicking to much!

My symptoms are seeming to come and go but sore boobs and tiredness are with me most days.
