Brockle I am craving cheese as well. Cheese and chicken.

My diet the last week or so consists of chicken burgers, cheese & tomato pizza, jacket potato with cheese, pasta and cheese, cheese salad, cheese sandwich, that's about it!

I was into cheese a fortnight ago, now it's fruit and veg :)

I've been very good again this evening, only had a handful of strawberries and a handful of yet more cherry tomatoes as snacks. And not much bloating again yay!

Evening All,

Just popped in to say Marmite, Marmite and more Marmite. This is my thing right now. Drove home from the office in my lunch hour, 35 minute round trip, just for some Marmite on toast.

If this carries on I may have to buy a value toaster for our office kitchen.

wow It always takes me ages to catch up on everyones news! By the time I have read it all, you have all gone to bed! haha. Never mind :)

Just weighed myself and I am 3.5lbs lighter today - how on earth can that be?? If my weight is going to fluctuate that much, I am going to stay off the scales, try to eat properly and do a bit more walking. Oh, and stop buying packs of Haribo, doughnuts and Skittles.

Have my first antenatal which is exciting, think I'm going to be a but naughty a play up on my dates a little (even though I'm not 100% on them anyway) and hopefully get sent for a dating scan which would be sooo nice and hopefully be reassured that everything is good and going well, fingers crossed!

Have say off from work so I will actually get to enjoy my first bit of sunshine :) Will also make a FB later an PM DH

I feel like a bag of crap, still suffering with insomnia, then when I finally manage to get to sleep I was up 3x in the night to pee and at 4am woke up ravenous so had a glass of milk and half a cheese spread sarnie.

N20 - unless you "think" you are massively out on dates they tend not to these days as there are so many women needing a reassurance scan if they are bleeding etc that it takes appointments away from them that really need one. Have fun at your booking in, it's bloody boring! All those forms...

I reckon we'll be needing a new thread today or tomorrow!

foofFighter you are right and I didn't think of it like that :( and I wouldn't wanna take anyone else's appointment away, my date could be be between a range of about 4-5 weeks as I never have regular periods but now i feel bad for wanting one as I didn't think it would take it away from anyone else, not being selfish but just brainless

Recent examples of my brainlessness have included asking DH something, him saying I'd just said the same thing, literally the sentence before! I was quite proud of my effort on Draw something but DH smiled as he said how smart he was. Turns out he guessed I meant Griffin when I drew a picture of a phoenix.

so im 8 weeks on saturday and ive been reading how everyone is having early scans??? i want one!! how did you all manage to get one? i rang my midwife yesterday for my booking in app but she hasnt got back to me yet.......!

do i tell her about the mc i had last january? that i have pcos? will they scan me early as i am shittying myself and have been shitting myself the whole way through!

Jaylee those that have had early scans have had them due to pain and bleeding.

bah! I feel so sick this evening. Argh! Can't wait for the second trimester :)

I'm a bit more positive this morning thanks WWCJ - having convinced myself in this wonderful pregnancy insomnia that I had lost all symptoms. Discharge (urgh horrible word) was bright red briefly last night and I passed a clot - which nearly made me fall of the loo in shock. But no agonising cramps and now I'm being less paranoid whilst I'm not so tired, and don't have a raging appetite / stun gun farts - my boobs are still really sore so not all symptoms have gone. Had a docs appointment booked today anyway so will mention it to her and see what she says - can the Doc check to see if your cervix is closed? Is she likely to send me off for dildocam again? Skyped DH from Chile which was really nice. Also spoke with my sister who had very similar symptoms with her daughter - which was reassuring - although I hope it means this one won't turn up half cooked like her wee one did. Of course it might not get that far and have a back up plan of marlboro lights and sauvignon blanc if it all goes tits up!

So many messages to catch up on! I am excited, as I have my dating scan booked in for 16 April. After that, I hope I will feel a LOT less nervous/panicky etc.... I feel very pregnant, so hope that is a good sign - sore boobs (which are HUGE already after being fairly flat chested - so a wee bit paranoid that ppl will have guessed already), shattered, feeling sick, headaches, and weird food issues. All I want to eat is cheddar cheese and coleslaw on toast! Gutted, as I LOVE my brie etc, and shellfish, but DP is so paranoid about the shellfish being not cooked enough I am on a ban for now :( I have my revenge though - the smell/sight/touch of meat in any form is sending me running to the toilet, so DP has agreed not to eat meat in my presence until such time as that symptom passes. I don't eat meat other than fish anyway, but never had such a violent reaction to it before.

Hoping that 16 April comes around pretty quickly - I feel I really need to find out that everything is ok, so I can tell the world my news. At the moment I am worried that people at work might have guessed - I am usually a little size 8, but my boobs seem to have trebled in size, and my tummy is also growing a litte bit already Argh..... ALSO hoping that I still fit into my wedding dress come May 5th! Nothing like deciding to start trying "informally" just in case it took a little while to get pregnant, then it happening almost immediately.

YW - fingers crossed for your doctor's appointment, and also for anyone else who has concerns.

Sure you'll be fine gsy!! How exciting :) I've lost half a stone in weight? Not sure if it's muscle loss or all the stress? Mil passed away last night so taken the day off. Was only in 7-11 anyway so seemed pointless. Very sad but at least she's in no more pain. Will speak to mw about it x
