Oh Methe, I hope your baby pulls through. I don't know anything about your procedure to offer any helpful advice but my thoughts are with you. Xxx

Whatevertheweather · 23/03/2012 17:58

Oh Methe oh you poor love. How frightening and upsetting for you. Is it a case of staying in hospital on bed rest and seeing if they re-seal? Oh hang in there baby Methe bean xxx

rightontime · 23/03/2012 18:49

Oh Methe that is horrendous. I know there is nothing I can say that will make you feel better but I am praying that something can be done. Really hoping all ends well.

also thinking of you Methe keep checking back to see if you've updated

Loopyhasanotherbean · 24/03/2012 18:36

really hope you and baby are ok methe...i have heard that if waters leak, sometimes they can replenish themselves, and a mucus plug can also fill itself in if some comes away, just hope they didn't trigger a premature labour :(

I feel like i can relax at last, after having one scan where bean was too small for the nuchal test, and then failing to get bean to keep still for the nuchal test at our second 12 week scan, i ended up having to have the triple test instead, and got a letter this morning to say odds are 1 in 10000 that bean has downs and no sign of spina bifida, chuffed with that as nearly 2 years ago DS was about 1 in 7800.

Hope everyone else is ok and enjoyed the sunny weather today!

MadMonkeys · 24/03/2012 19:40

How are you doing methe? I do hope it works out well for you.

pgreen · 24/03/2012 19:56

Methe thinking of you and sending you my thoughts and prayers x

Methe · 24/03/2012 20:08

Not doing to good. I had a scan this morning and my waters have completely gone. My consultant isn't back in till Monday so I can't tell you what's going to happen but I think it's likely they'll eithet remove the stitch laprascopically and I'll be induced in the week or they'll deliver baby by a section and leave the stitch in situ. I've have early prom issues with both of my children sp know the drill. I am not very optimistic for the baby, he has almost zero chance. :(

I'm going to speak to my consultant about amino patch and amniofusion on Monday. Nothing to do but wait and see.

I hate that it's always me having these problems. Every pregnancy of mine has been shit. It's just not fair.

I won't post on here again till what's going to happen has happened. Thanks for keeping me I your thoughts.

oikopolis · 24/03/2012 20:51

Methe

FX Methe, hopefully there will be something that can be done for you.
In my thoughts as well. X

bump4 · 24/03/2012 22:42

Oh Methe- I am really sorry for what you are going through.

I am a long term lurker as my last 3 pregnancies have been complicated with my waters going at 27,24 and last time 18 weeks- I manage to hold on with all 3 until 34/35 weeks and my waters went up and down.

We were given little hope when my waters went last time (18 weeks) but my little boy held on in there and after a few days in Nicu was fine.

I am now 15 weeks and think my waters went yesterday- I haven't gone to the docs yet as I have a scan and consultant appointment on Tuesday- and know they will be all doom and gloom!

I don't know the rest of your situation Methe, but there can be hope with an early rupture- keeping all crossed as I know how very stressful it can be.

Thali34 · 25/03/2012 11:04

methe that brought tears to my eyes. I'm so sorry. Sending out hope and prayers for you. Xx

Macaroons · 25/03/2012 20:32

fingers crossed for you methe and bump4

hope everyone else is doing fine with your pregnancy!

rightontime · 25/03/2012 21:44

Hope your consultant can help your baby Methe Not long till tomorrow. I will be thinking of you.

I have just bought a doppler on Amazon. Not sure if it is a good thing or not but I can't get the feeling out of my head that something has gone wrong so hearing the heartbeat (assuming there still is one) will be at least a temporary reassurance. Really hope I am worrying about nothing but until I feel regular movements I am not going to be happy. :(
