Hello ladies! I can't wait to see how many No Brooking babies arrive during the course of this thread!! Do you realise we have now filled SEVEN threads (and that's just the graduates!) That's 7000 posts and counting!

Let's all get settled in for some serious No Brooking, we have a lot of painless sneeze births to get through over the next couple of weeks!

Purple maybe try a hot curry, with a pineapple for pudding, go for a walk while it goes down then go at it like rabbits? One of those might get it started!? I hope it kicks off for you soon. I remember that heavy feeling from last time. Mind you didn't biscuits say she felt very heavy yesterday morning?

DreamingOfPeace · 09/03/2012 20:49

oh and in order, fischcake is a day before me, and I'm not surprising anyone!!! I'm waiting my turn, til 4th April Grin

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 09/03/2012 20:52

Dream it is the Portland that I bought, and I love it! As far as I know the Portland is the biggest Pacapod they do, I don't have the exact dimensions of the bag though.

I will say that I've managed to squish a lot more into the bag than I ever expected! I believe the Portland is also the model Pacapod recommend for twins iirc. If you use this link and select "order by volume" on the left, it confirms the Portland is bigger than the Almora (I think!)

Still thinking of Too

Ninja I am having a sweep tomorrow so don't fancy hiding the sausage and then having a MW poke about in the leavings Envy

CupcakesAndCocktails · 09/03/2012 20:57

Evening Preggos!

Congratulations Biscuits What a great name. Well done on being home so quick. Hope you, DH and DS are enjoying lots of cuddles with Ethan.

Am brooking extra hard for Too

jenfraggle · 09/03/2012 20:57

Rotate your hips purple to encourage his head pushing on your cervix.

NinjaChipmunk · 09/03/2012 21:07

purple if you are having a sweep then no, I wouldn't recommend a curry either, what if you trumped in fear at the mw? its the kind of thing that would happen to me.

On another note I am ill for the first time since November. Bugger. Sore throat, losing voice, feeling like a cold is about to come on. And I'm going out for posh afternoon tea tomorrow too.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 21:07

I have been doing that on my exercise ball. I think I have lost the will a bit!

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 21:21

Ninja that would be awful! I need to man up about getting my fanjo out as it is! Hope you feel better soon :)

Wants3 · 09/03/2012 21:25

purple why don't you have a nice warm bath and an early night. At least you will be slightly more rested if things kick off after your sweep tomorrow.
( just suggesting as that is what I am going to do soon:)

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 21:37

Thanks Wants I will see if Dh will give me a clary sage massage before bed. :)

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 09/03/2012 21:38

Sorry, dh said he had posted for me! Blush

Maia Patricia born at 12.23, 6lb5, small but perfect!

scarletfingernail · 09/03/2012 21:38

These preggo hormones are really getting the better of me this week. I've just been in tears watching the David Walliams swimming the Thames programme that I recorded from last night. Such an incredible achievement.

I'm sneezing lots Ninja, I feel completely lurgeefied.

Fantastic that you're home already Biscuits, I was wondering if you were. I hope DS1 is enjoying his new baby brother. Does it feel weird being at home with a newborn again?

I've been thinking about Too all afternoon, I hope and I'm sure she's just been too wrapped up with DD2 to have thought about updating us just yet.

Purple I second what wants said. Try and relax and get some rest. Your little man will arrive when he's good and ready, don't knacker yourself out now, save it for when he's ready. The sweep tomorrow may well kick things off for you.

scarletfingernail · 09/03/2012 21:40

Wow crossed posts Too

Congratulations!!! So happy for you and your DH, how wonderful!

Brilliant, 2 babies in 24 hours.

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 09/03/2012 21:43

No pain so far from cs- lots of lovely drugs.

Maia fast asleep on my chest after latest bf attempt. She's very sleepy but is beginning to feed, anyway. She is so beautiful!

DreamingOfPeace · 09/03/2012 21:44

oh too, I'm so delighted for you!!! You clever girl, beautiful name and she's a good weight. Hurrah!!! Thanks

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 21:45

Oh Too congratulations! Nice dinky size :)

DreamingOfPeace · 09/03/2012 21:45

purple., No!!!! Don't get up with the half hearted contractions... After my waters broke I exhausted myself trying to start labour- and it didn't work. Rest up, it's happening imminently lovey Smile

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 21:47

Is it My-ah or Mayah? I am sure you have said! I can't wait to bf again :)

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 21:48

Dream they kept me awake anyway, but I came on Mn and ate biscuits haha rather than get on ball .etc think I will ignore and hope sweep gets me going.
I just really don't want an induction so putting a bit of pressure on myself I guess.

fishcakefoxtrot · 09/03/2012 21:54

Congratulations too Thanks that is lovely, lovely news! And that is a great name. Big hugs to you and your dh.

And hooray for biscuits being home already! Hope you are all settling in at home. How is ds1 doing?

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 09/03/2012 21:56

Yay for Too and Maia! Lovely name, perfect weight (I would love for my LO to come out under 7lbs!), and so glad everything is going well. (Yay for the lovely drugs and pain free cs as well! Wink )

So happy for you all!!! Thanks

purple yes, getting some rest sounds like a good plan. Perhaps we could reset the brooking for an arrival shortly after midday instead? What time is your sweep?

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 09/03/2012 22:03

My-a.

posting from dh's phone and reception bit slow, so writing little but often in case i lose post.

Once we got started cs incredibly fast. Went in at 12, bean out at 12.23, back in recovery at about 12.40. I had skin to skin in theatre after all, and maia fed a little at 2. She's had a few goes but falls asleep v quickly.

Think will be getting more codeine soon- v little pain, just slight soreness towards right hip.

pommedechocolat · 09/03/2012 22:04

Yay too!! Smile

Huge congratulations. Lovely name, lovely size she sounds perfect! Smile
