Hello ladies! I can't wait to see how many No Brooking babies arrive during the course of this thread!! Do you realise we have now filled SEVEN threads (and that's just the graduates!) That's 7000 posts and counting!

Let's all get settled in for some serious No Brooking, we have a lot of painless sneeze births to get through over the next couple of weeks!

I know Imps - it's crazy to think that, and I do get what you mean! I was actually thinking as I nipped into a couple of shops yesterday afternoon - ooh, it's weird to think it could happen at any time.

And oddly I had literally just got off the phone to DH about when he was coming home, went to the loo and had to phone him straight back!

NinjaChipmunk · 09/03/2012 08:10

Well done biscuits I remember your first posts on mn, just look where you are now! Enjoy the snuggles and hope you get breakfast soon.
Good luck too can't wait for your update as well!

pommedechocolat · 09/03/2012 08:14

I think ET is fine as its middle name not surname. It's lovely Smile

Wants3 · 09/03/2012 08:17

Congratulations biscuits lovely name! You are obviously a champion baby cooker as he was a good weight too!
Thinking of too as she has her newborn snuggles soon, I will check back at lunchtime.
Is it purple and dream next? I think we have a bit of a breather after that don't we?

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 09/03/2012 08:33

Ok we are here, gowned up and waiting.....

NinjaChipmunk · 09/03/2012 08:35

oh too how exciting!

hawthers · 09/03/2012 08:36

Eek good luck (again) too

musicalmrs · 09/03/2012 08:39

Hope you're feeling great this morning Biscuits, and not too exhausted after watching Ethan all night :) Hope the stitches don't hurt too much after the anaesthesia wears off... I'm also impressed at your updating skills from the hospital. A truly dedicated brooker Wink

Too, I shall too be checking back almost constantly to hear of the arrival! So exciting! Brooking hard for you. Good luck! :D

Wants, I've just checked the list... it looks like Purple, Dream, Fishcakes, Scarlet and Scream are all in the running for soonish (as in, March through April) - though Purple's date is much before the others'. Purple then a break, with Dream destined to surprise us all I reckon!

Sorry to completely change the subject from all the excitement going on, but something happened last night that reminded me of you all. Who was it who had the boiler issues with their parents' house? We just had the contract through for our new house. The boiler was installed in 2003, and last serviced in 2010. Now, I suppose 2010 isn't that long ago really.. but.. the boiler is in a room where two of their children sleep! I'd have thought getting it serviced in that instance would be a priority?!

Anyway, enough of the sheer puzzledness... must get ready for the dentists, and back to brooking for Too! :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/03/2012 08:46

Biscuits!!!! A million congratulations lovely, Ethan is a beautiful name, and such a lovely weight!! I hope you have had a restful night and that DH has brought you in some goodies this morning x

Too Am wishing you all the luck in the world this morning, and brooking hard. Ooooh, it's like a baby boom in here!

fishcakefoxtrot · 09/03/2012 09:22

Good luck Too, must be just about time now. hope they don't keep you hanging around too long. In mere minutes you will be enjoying cuddles with your Bean Smile
bet your DH looks dead handsome in his scrubs.

GreenOlives · 09/03/2012 09:28

Huuuge congratulations Biscuits! What fantastic news Grin Very impressed with the speediness of the labour Shock Enjoy lots of snuggles with little Ethan (love the name) Make sure you try and get some decent rest today.

Good luck Too, you must be about to meet your brooking baby now - what an exciting day. Will be checking back later! xx

PopcornMouseInBoots · 09/03/2012 09:50

Congratulations Biscuits !!! :)

Very excited for Too - she could be having snuggles with her Bean round about now! Grin

jenfraggle · 09/03/2012 10:31

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 09/03/2012 11:01

I hope Too is snuggled up with her gorgeous newborn right about now! Still No Brooking furiously for the Too family!

Biscuits how is Mr Ethan this morning? I hope you're also still feeling okay now that the "good" drugs have worn off! Has DS1 had a chance to meet his new little bro?

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 09/03/2012 11:18

Bumped for 2 emergency sections. Waah! might be another hour before i get done now.

jaggythistle · 09/03/2012 11:18

have been out at toddlers but straight on here to check for news. hope too is all snuggled up now and didn't have to wait for a theatre slot.

am waiting on a pre baby health visitor visit, no sign of her yet though. am hoping i didn't misread the letter. Hmm

i thought you might enjoy a quote from DH this morning. when i was having a toddler tantrum a bit upset about him wanting to change plans for this morning, he said "you really need to control your emotions!" I did point out that extremely pregnant ladies weren't especially known for that particular skill...

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 09/03/2012 11:23

Boo for the emergency delays Too! Still, at least you're first out of the planned sections, it won't be long now.

OP posts:
pommedechocolat · 09/03/2012 11:28

Bumped?! Bumped?! Don't they know they have a brooker on their hands!

Hope your feeling zen and calm about the delay too and that you get in next.

PurpleWithaBlueBun · 09/03/2012 11:39

That is rubbish Too!
Jaggy I was supposed to get a visit and I have heard nothing, bit late now since it is my Due date! Oh am I the first brooker to reach my due date?

Anyway, this morning I did have an hour and a half of mild contractions strong enough to keep me awake though. So, a bit annoyed and very glad Dh is still home so I could catch up some sleep. I am fed up now and want this baby out, a little after midnight tonight would be good so that we have three consecutive birthdays!

musicalmrs · 09/03/2012 11:58

Too, that's a bit rubbish :( Brooking that you'll be next in line!

Purple, sending lots of contraction vibes your way. Yes, after midnight would be perfect - two brooking babies in one day may be too much excitement for us to handle!

On the subject of Imps's Squarez - do they do them in salt and vinegar flavour? (I have a think for salt and vinegar at the moment!). May have to track some down...!
