Next gel or water breakage at half four. Have lots of pain in bum and thighs and back when moving stops when I sit down. Rubbish signal so struggling to update too much.

No two hour labours here though!

Biscuitsandtea · 27/02/2012 14:56

Yay for an update Pomme - keep going my lovely Smile. Good luck if you're still needing the gel or waters breaking at half 4, hope something happens of its own accord in the meantime.

Jen - I used to feel hiccups with DS and they were like a twitch but very rhythmic and went on for several minutes with the same regular rhythm. How many weeks are you now?

DreamingOfPeace · 27/02/2012 15:03

biscuits, don't be daft. You should definitely have gone, and should go Fri/Mon and earlier if its the same again. Like I said, I can't count the kicks as such, but if the pattern changed I'd be stressing. I thought twin 2 was quiet on the day of my scan last time (a convenient time to do it for once!!) and went in saying to the sonographer I was worried, he'd been quieter- and she straight away checked both hb for me, and he is on his right, facing his brother so that's why it was quieter. In fact they were both on their right, spooning on my last scan- really sweet! If you know your baby normally moves at a certain time or way and they dont it's get checked.

jenfraggle · 27/02/2012 15:06

I'm 28 weeks now. Sometimes I get a couple of twitches in a row but most of the time it's just a single one.

Circle your pelvis Pomme, encourage LO to help cervix to play nicely

Biscuitsandtea · 27/02/2012 15:10

Thanks Dream Smile

Probably they are kicks then Jen - you'll probably find that they get stronger as you go on - my kicks were still 'weak' at 28 weeks. I think I only really felt the hiccups closer to the end last time too -although I've not felt them this time- which could be because there aren't any, or because I feel so little.

DreamingOfPeace · 27/02/2012 15:11

Pops in to brook like mad for a nice easy and quick labour for pomme

Waves at every one else

scarletfingernail · 27/02/2012 16:29

Biscuits you definitely did the right thing getting checked out. Like you said, if the movements are happening but you can't actually feel them, how are you supposed to know they're happening? It's not something that's worth taking any risk for and I certainly don't think you're making a fuss about nothing. It's so confusing isn't it when there's so much conflicting information around what's normal and what isn't. Great to hear you've felt lots of movementsince.

pomme maybe you could just try and do a sneeze?

jen I've not felt any hiccups yet (32+3) I definitely noticed them with DS, but nothing recognizable as hiccups yet this time. My movements seem to range from full on jabs, a complete body shift around, tickly sort of twitches and then the alien type thing where you can actually feel a particular body part poking through.

Wants I'm still in Shock that you didn't get to hospital until 9cm!

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 27/02/2012 16:40

Go Pomme, go!

Ahhh spoony babies dream ! That's lush :)

The mythical vivid preggo dreams have kicked in ? I actually woke myself up shouting for DH and flailing at a zombie hoard on Saturday night Blush :o But at least the nausea is not developing into anything more ? I feel a bit like I'm cheating?!?! :o

Wants3 · 27/02/2012 18:03

I am abit Envy of too going shopping, I am still waiting for DH to say we can order the car seat! Still have a pram, bedding and crib mattress to buy and am abit worried that 11 weeks won't be enough time, especially as DH was phoning builders today to start getting quotes and we have several weekends already booked up! Ok breeathe! :)

pommedechocolat · 27/02/2012 18:17
