yay for your scan rhib mine's a girl too :) so excited about discussing names now we know. Had a bit of a traumatic day, I tripped up on the pavement jogging over to the park earlier and proper panic set in (not at all like me, I'm normally the calm rational one in an emergency) because I was convinced I'd landed square on the bump. Phoned the midwife and she did a great job reassuring me that baby is nice and cushioned and if I had no pains it was more than likely OK. Walked the rest of the way to meet my PT and she gave me a big hug and took me for coffee until I calmed down a bit. Having examined the state of my knees and elbows we decided that I must have actually landed on those and we did a bit of powerwalking instead of any training. Was so relieved when the sonographer got the heartbeat straight away though.
tdw glad you've got antibiotics and managed a bit of rest.
CathFin might be odd of me but I don't really mind rainy hols, we're heading up to a cottage on Skye in April and I plan to spend plenty of time sat in front of the fire reading and knitting with little walks when/if the rain lets up.
itchy your weekend sounds fab, the weather in London today was really lovely, crisp but sunny, fingers crossed it's like that in Wales all weekend for you. Also, loving your graphs, can't believe I didn't think to record the circumference. I have a plot of weight gain which shows one major growth spurt so far and a photo (same time/position/clothes) every week since week 12.
kveta the babies were all in an uncooperative mood today! She was quite happy to show her bits but she's upside down and facing backwards so they couldn't do any of the head measurements because my pelvis was getting in the way. Tried prodding and wobbling the bump, lying on my side, jumping up and down, rocking on all fours and drinking hot chocolate but all she did was wave her arms around. Eventually I got sent outside for a walk around the block which moved her up a bit, sonographer had just finished taking the measurements when she rolled back to where she had been.
chateau I've only felt kicks really low down too, I have an anterior placenta which probably explains it. Also I felt a few today whilst scanning, turns out they're actually punches not kicks!
Starlight yay for your little boy, Rowy is an interesting name :)
