My computer is being so slow, yawn.
Thank you to everyone for your kind words and reasearch. I saw the consultant at Maternal Meds clinic today, who was very sweet and helpful. He drew diagrams and gave me a full explanation to help me picture what is going on in there. I am feeling quite reassured about the chances of things changing before the big day arrives. He did however alert me to the possibility of bleeding and told me to contact the hospital about anything like that straight away, so glad I had an appointment with him today
ceej - undergrad mess, ah that takes me back
Cathfin - hope the scan goes well on Thurs
Dalrymps - phew! Hope today went ok
Kvita - so pleased to hear dh felt baby kick, it's a magic moment.
Kvita and itchy - after having some lansinoh left after breastfeeding last time, have found applying some to dry skin eg around nose/ after a cold, at bedtime (when noone is looking!) can work absolute wonders. No stinging like moisturiser, and much more effective than vaseline etc.
miniangel - choc party, very jealous, though a hot chocolate party would be better for me at the mo as I've gone off the hard stuff while pregnant - unheard of!
amethystmoon - take it easy
tdw - hope you enjoyed your hard earned day off, don't feel guilty. Must dig out my baby books too.
millyv - get well soon
specialjk - thanks for the reassuring advice. Suggest taking a potty to wales for emergencies?!
Warlin - that reminds me, pelvic floor excercises...it took mine quite a while to recover last time and i'm sure it's not quite like it used to be. And squeeze....
Teaand - sympathise with you feeling weak after a walk. Can relate to that.
Walked into town today, and have found that I can't move my legs as far apart, as in walk normal strides without feeling pain in my groin, so have to walk more slowly in smaller steps for the last week or so. Have warned my workmates not to be surprised to see me waddling about the office.
Important tv break, my fave one born every minute is on
Take care all
