40+9 where is everyone?

addictediam · 03/02/2012 15:20

39+6 here, finally reach my due date tomorrow! :o

Just sat quietly counting kicks at the moment, shes not moving around much again today. I think she may have turned again and thats the reason, but will phone later when dh finishes work if she doesnt get more active. (she is moving, just not much)

ParsleyLion1 · 03/02/2012 19:21

Come on babies! Get a shift on - your mummies want to meet you and have served your eviction notices!

Oeisha · 03/02/2012 19:41

addicted hope your LO is booting merrily now, or that you've at least been checked out.

This smurf has now got less than 48 hours to show up or it's CS on Monday! VBAC seems to have now gone out the window thanks to my lazy body once again.

Yummybunny

little one got very active last night phew. didnt really want to ring for the 3rd day in a row, thought it might sound quite neurotic!

has anyone heard from dozy? she seemed to have a show then dissapeared, hope thats a good sign!

am also guessing blueeyed and bluejoy have had their babies (as its over edd+14) and yummy has gone quiet from fb, also a good sign i hope. so it looks like its just you an me bighotmama! shall we fight it out? although i rather suspect you will give birth before me (especially as you've got cs booked for monday!)

BigHotMama · 04/02/2012 10:02

Lol addicted it does look that way doesn't it? Well my family seem to think I'm going to have smurf tomorrow as it will be the anniversary of my nans death and my cousin recently had a boy on our grandads death so it's a possibility but wouldn't it be really strange/eerie? I am preparing mentally for CS now so think it would be shocking if anything happens.

Glad your little one was moving lots yesterday it's such a relief. Mine seems to go very quiet during the night and doesn't wake up till mud morning. Also tends to go bsm when I'm driving or out somewhere. Smurf really went for it last night after a curry thought it was gonna burst my belly.

How are you after what happened other day? Hope your www back to normal sounds like you've been through the mill already before having to go through birth. Were you late with your dd? I was 2 wks with my ds.

BigHotMama · 04/02/2012 10:05

Stupid autotype that should read wee not www lol

addictediam · 04/02/2012 10:27

Dd was early and everyone was expecting this one to be earlier.
It's all back to normal now thankfully. But it has made me review my birth plan which has gone from an a5 page and really laid back to an a4 page and a half and not so laid back. I've never been a 'demanding' person but now feel I need to spell out silly little things like latex free gloves and when i say stop, stop and give me a breather. it sounds so silly but just thinking about what happened makes me cry, and I'm terrified its going to happen again. :(

Oooo that would be spooky! But a nice thing to happen on a sad date. My mum thinks baby will be here by midnight, she just says she has a 'feeling' Hmm

Oeisha · 04/02/2012 11:30

Oh ladies!

Both of you, always get reduced movements checked, especially this late on...my Auntie's no1 fear for Mums is they believe the "babies go quiet before they're born" thing. They shouldn't be...and is Snufflix was anything to go by, they'll boot up until 5min contractions and then cause 8h of turning agony.

addicted My SIL was expecting DC3 to be 'early' as DC1 was 34wks, DC2 was 36wks...DC3 40+10... Oh, and you're totally right to be demanding. They ballsed up big-time there. Maybe try NO LATEX AT ALL, NOT EVEN FOR KICKS, in permanent marker on your belly?

Hi ladies

I haven't read through the thread since i've last been on so congrats to the new babies and hope the ladies still waiting are not too fed up!

Baby Alyssa finally arrived at 40 + 11 just like her brother! She was born on Jan 29th (avoiding induction yaaaay) at 7.35 pm after a 3 hour 50 min labour. It all went well and we all adore her. Ds is so sweet and loving with her it's wonderful to see!

Oeisha · 04/02/2012 21:37

DozyNosy · 04/02/2012 22:04

Hi ladies, how is everyone? what's the latest of news for the remaining HB gang left to pop? I haven't been around the past few days because...
Mini Dozy was born at 12:06 02/02/12 weighing 6lb6. We'r both at home now happy and healthy and settling well she is a little BFing superstar . Also it was qick labour and lovely birth, with no epidural needed just gas and air and some pethidine to get me through the push. This was a much better birth than I had ever anticipated, and everything I had hoped for (and proved the consultants wrong), thanks partly to the help and encouragement I revived from MNers, friends, family and my star of a DP who was an amazing birth partner. Grin

addictediam · 04/02/2012 22:45

Congratulations blueeyed and dozy, enjoy the precious first few weeks.

Good luck today bighot. Enjoy squeezeing your little pne for the first time.

So I guess that means I'll sit here and watch tumble weed until my very naughty cheeky monkey decides to make an appearance. It really can't be much longer...can it?
