Morning ladies, thought I'd come and update properly. When I got to the mw yesterday and gave her my sample she asked 'is that all it was only alittle dribble in the pot, I explained I'd had some problems passing urine but aparantly despite needing to go, that was it! When she was feeling baby she said she could feel my bladder was very full. She then asked when the last time I felt the baby move, thought about it and realised it was Monday pm.
She sent me straight to hospital saying they would probably induce me.
The 1st consultant gave me a sweep, said they would keep me in over night and look at induction in the morning if no movements (babies heart rate was fine as was ctg so no rush to get her out) the 2nd. Consultant was a trained sonographer and decided to scan me. Baby has moved so that's probably why I'm not feeling movements. She also looked at my bladder and although it didn't look too full baby was in the way and she agreed it felt very full.
She decided to have a catheter put in, drain bladder, send me home and go back if no change. Thing the catheter in, in the end the dr had to come and do it. and not much came out Not much came out leaving every one confused, but bladder now didn't feel full. I had to havebloods taken to check my kidney function which came back normal and I was senthome to monotonous urine levels and baby movements.
You still with me!?
So fast forward to now, I seem to be weeing bright red blood although its non stop so may not be wee. I'm also passing clots, not sure where they are coming from but its not gunky like a show, its pure blood :( . I have to phone triage back at 4 to tell them what's happening (they wanted me to go straight in but I don't have anyone to have DD till morning so they want regular updates instead) they think (more hope really) the blood has been caused by the trauma of the catheter and that baby is fine.
Phew that was long! But on the upside I've felt her move lots since getting home :)
