Hi ladies,

Well, this morning I rubbed a small baby against my tummy in the hope of bringing something on (old wives' tale, but worked for friend!) Still nothing, so I may go and attack the buddleia with pruning shears (I did half of it the other day - looks like it has a mullet currently!)

Hope we get some news from Oeisha and Dee soon. And has anyone heard from Peanuts?

Aah, I think my water's just gone! I was on my way to toilet and about half a cup full of liquid just came out. Scent free, but think it also had a bit of show in it... Better call hospital!

They want me to come in to check it was definitely water and may or may not bring forward my induction depending on how baby's doing. Bit annoying as I was just there, and now I have to go back! :) Fx it'll happen naturally - ghost I'm seeing balloons when I breathe now - quite calming so if nothing else I can try and apply that! :)

Is there a specific way to join the Jan 2012 thread do I need to add my details to the other stats list thread?

OK I'll add myself to the list.
I actually thought it was time earlier this week, I had lots of strong BH and back pain etc, but all seems to have gone quite now. I'm a bit on edge today though as she has not been moving as much as normal (she's normally very active) I don't think it's reduced enough to warrant contacting the midwife. Anyone know if lots know if lots of activity and then a quiet day is a sign of labour?
I'm under consultant care (due to my epilepsy) so already have an induction booked for 09/02/12 so at least I know I wont go beyond then.

I think that Dee has had her baby. I'm basing this purely on a 'congratulations on your news' post on her fb, posted on Monday night. purely speculation.

Oh yes shon, that post would suggest she has had the baby.

Just had a hormonal cryee rant at dh. 40 weeks is along time to be pregnant. I am just so fed up!

Welcome dozy it's mad you have only just found us here! There's not many of us left now.

I'm just fed up with not being able to walk far or stand for long as back really aches. Keep trying to picture what our little smurf will look like I still can't really believe baby will be here soon.

Just looked at my mw notes and my blood pressure is 93/50 no wonder i feel light headed and tired haha! How many of us are left now?

I think we can safely say both crosshair and aurorasky have had their babies, although I don't want to move them off the list! I haven't removed dee as she hasnt confirmed herself anywhere yet although as she also had induction booked she has probably had it.
I don't think I've missed any announcements, but could have done. Dozy I haven't added you to the list as I'm on my phone, have a small scream and can't see your details anywhere (I know you posted them tho)

just wanted to say good luck to all those still left to pop, and see you on the other side - it's a world of milk, poo and hallucinating in the middle of the night over there!

Fryn come over whenever you like for more small baby rubbing or if i get brave/you're feeling too hefty and tired, i could even bring him over to you eeeek!

Officially in labour. Hospital confirmed water gone but sent me home as contractions not close enough together. Now 4mins apart and lasting about 45s and getting very painful. Will go back to hospital in a bit I think.
