addictediam · 27/01/2012 04:25

I was awake till 12.30, why the hell am i wide awake now!
xshevix I just read your post and thought ooo my kitchen could do with a clean! :o I actually hate pregnancy, I am so ready for it to be over.

xshevix · 27/01/2012 04:28

Haha xD sorry. Ive distracted myself with celery sticks and cheese. Thinking about making my dp breakfast in bed, he'll be getting up at 5. We only went to bed at 2.

supadupapupascupa · 27/01/2012 05:01

woop woop karmanna

well this is unheard of for me being up at this time!

woke up with a twinge and uncontrollable hunger. went to the loo and realised more waters were going and they are very pink/red so i think my show is coming away. decided to stay up and bounce seeing as I was due to be up 6:30 anyway to get DS to PIL ready for going into hospital.

Just had a massive gush in the kitchen whilst making toast! so i'm sat here waiting for some contractions ho hum Grin

ParsleyLion1 · 27/01/2012 05:42

Good luck karmana Grin

And good luck supa today.

I'm deliriously happy having managed over 2 hours sleep in one hitGrin

addicted the MWs when I was waiting in hospital kept saying - just think of it that you are closer to having your baby than not.

Can't say I found it very helpful.....

BigHotMama · 27/01/2012 09:29

Good luck karmanna and supa thinking of you both!

Am seriously bored! Bloody slippy on the path nearly fell twice doing the school run Shock

Wish I had a ball to bounce on might get on all fours and scrub kitchen floor or something. Now I know I'm bored as hate doing that job!

ParsleyLion1 · 27/01/2012 10:38

Be careful out there bhm it's very slippy.

Fryn · 27/01/2012 11:54

Good luck supa and karmanna! I'm getting to the slightly jealous stage now!

Had a rotten night's sleep, with period like pains, but that may have been more to do with the dodgy box of Czech chocs DH and I ate our way through last night! And then just as I dropped off at about 4, DD came and joined us and thrashed for the next 2 hours until DH got up. Anyway, went for a lovely walk this morning along the river and reminded myself how lovely east London can be, and then chomped my way through and enormo sausage baguette in the park cafe! Feeling a lot better now, needless to say. I think this arvo will involve cleaning the bathroom and a nice snooze.

All this kitchen cleaning talk is making me feel guilty... just not enough to do anything about it!

BigHotMama · 27/01/2012 14:45

Well I had a list of jobs to finish and gave only ticked 2 off the list just wears me our, don't feel guilty fryn you worked till late of so enjoy your mat leave now you deserve it!

Sun is out here so shouldn't be as slippy thanks though parsley

Wonder how supa and karmanna are doing?

DozyNosy · 27/01/2012 15:42

Supa good luck.

Has anyone heard how karmanna is?

Thanks Fryn I now have a hankering for a sausage baguette, ooo with plenty of hot mustard.

Is anyone else here due 30th or 31st. I've got a feeling I'm going to be left on my own in an empty antenatal thread pregnant for ever and ever till my induction on the 9th.

Fryn · 27/01/2012 19:17

BHM - yep, didn't manage to even clean the bathroom, although I did some weeding in the hope that would help. Nah!

dozy sorry about that. It was a might fine one, I must say! And I'm due 29th so could quite easily be with you until mid-Feb!

I know everyone's had their babies, but I can't get over how quiet it is on here! FX we're all soon, ladies!

BigHotMama · 27/01/2012 19:44

A few weeks ago I couldn't keep up with this thread lol now it's too easy!

Weeding is hard work fryn I'm in pain with my back if I stand too long but I did manage to vacuum our bedroom with the pipe attachment with a few breaks inbetween bouncing on the bed.

Right having a curry tonight and smurf seems to be creating a stir in my belly, either it likes poppadums and onion bhajis or it's practicing some serious dance moves.

Still no news from supa and karmanna yet then?

MissRee · 27/01/2012 20:21

Also still waiting to hear from Oeisha and Dee!!!

addictediam · 27/01/2012 21:17

Evening all

I'm not due till 4th Feb so I may still be here after you've been induced!

I got up at 4.30 in the end and dusted, hoovered and swept the living room. I then moved all the furniture around and from tidied after dd went down for a nap. I tidied our bedroom and dds bedroom and hoovered all bedrooms and the landing. I really really want to go and scrub the kitchen clean but am in so much pain I can't move :(

Hopefully we have 4 more babies and 4 new mums who are too busy come and tell us :o

DozyNosy · 28/01/2012 01:43

Fryn and addictediam glad I won't be left on my own, I'm really getting to the point where it seems never ending now. A few weeks ago I was getting so worried about the birth and just wanted DD to stay where she is, but now she can't come quick enough.

Also seems like there are plenty of others awake at ridiculous times, my insomnia is getting worse. Guess it's getting me used to the sleep deprivation though.

I wish I'd found this thread earlier.

addictediam · 28/01/2012 03:14

Yes insomnia is getting worse here too :(
Is this your first dozy? I think you definitely have to get to a point where labour and birth look much better than staying pregnant. I think I hit that point a few weeks ago, but over tbe last day or 2 have really been able to think about what happened last time, amd what I would like to happen again (basically a carbon copy would be good!)

Not long to go, I'm focusing on the baby at the end to stop myself spiriling in to the depression I feel hanging over me :( really really struggling now. Wish I was seeing my consultant before 9/2. I just want to cry all the time atm.

addictediam · 28/01/2012 03:17

Sorry my last few posts have been so depressing, I'll try and be more upbeat (or just lurk for a while)

xshevix · 28/01/2012 04:56

Hi guys just letting you know my waters went at 15 to 4 going up to the hospital in a min cos having contractions too. Wish me luck Grin

Sorry if that makes waiting ladies even more sad Sad xx

ghosteditor · 28/01/2012 06:54

Good luck shevi! Keep us up to date if you can! Grin

BigHotMama · 28/01/2012 09:10

Woop go shevi look forward to gearing your news as well as oiesha dee supa and karmanna wow surely we should hear some news today?

((((big hugs)))) for addicted and dozy, don't stress about pouring your thoughts out on here it's what threads are for. I had a few nights of insomnia and bouts of anxiety last week but since downloading a hypnobirth apo on my iPhone and listening to it at bedtime I've had some really good sleep just waking to go to loo or turn over. Maybe worth a try?

Sorry if tmi but is anyone else having heavy discharge? Had it quite a lot throughout this pg compared to ds, just wondered?

Dh is putting nursery wardrobe together today so I can get all smurfs clothes and stuff out of bin liners and in some sort of order. Is it mad to want to iron muslin clothes after washing them all? Ha!
Don't think I'll be doing it when baba is here.

To all the lovely leftover ladies let's have a good day and get those labour hormones started x

shonnomanom · 28/01/2012 09:22

Morning ladies! Big hugs to those still keeping their bubba's cosy in this cold weather. Spill your feelings here, a problem shared is a problem halved.

Hopefully we will hear some of these impending baby announcements this weekend. Hope mumma's and bubba's are well and healthy x

addictediam · 28/01/2012 11:41

Oeisha just posted on fb :o

dozy welcome!

Apologies if I've missed anything exciting. I won't terrorise this thread with my story, but, well, it wasn't easy...at all, but should have been very quick, but wasn't. BUT to those who's waters go, def go get checked, you never know.
