Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Great news Kayz that she's moved :)
Don't worry too much about growth. I was measuring a bit ahead and then 2 weeks ago, consultant measured me 2 weeks behind and then on Tuesday MW measured me at 40wks! I think growth does happen in spurts and also the measurements aren't completely accurate.

Starshinetiger · 24/05/2012 12:51

Ses - glad you are feeling relieved Wink. Boo hiss to maternity wardrobe issues, but not long to go now. I think that having an excuse to wear a floaty dress is a fab thing Grin

Kayz - if baby has moved position and also gone lower, it there not a good chance that it is just measuring the same size despite having grown? I think you're right not to be worried. I think you're doing brilliantly being heavily pregnant, having 2 small boys to look after and DH away!

Am enjoying a little midday sit down. After most of yesterday being spent in the garden with the DC, have been to messy play with DD this morning and now she wants a sit down with a film (think the heat is wearing her out) - fine by me, we will be at the park after school anyway, so plenty of time to enjoy the sun.

Must however stop myself from hitting the snacks (I blame pmt), since I have had a hurrah this week - can fit back into my pre-DS jeans (yay) Grin. Has only taken 5 years 3 months (or 3 years 2 months since having DD), but this week I weighed in at the same weight I was at for my booking in appointment when 8 weeks pg with DS. So, still half a stone to go to get to goal and probably another half to fit into any of my lovely honeymoon clothes (not lovely as in fancy/expensive, but I did love being able to wear them). Am feeling very chuffed - hope I don't put it back on when I'm not running around after DD every day once she starts nursery in September! Have always been very envious of ladies who are quickly back into their pre-pg wardrobe and kidded myself it was because I couldn't manage to get to the gym any more - turns out I was just eating too much Grin... ah well, off to put the mini-bites back in the fridge GrinWink

SESthebrave · 24/05/2012 12:56

Hello Star :)
Huge congrats on your weight loss! I need to lose about 1.5st from my pre-pg weight to be back to honeymoon size! I'll think about that come August though I think!
Enjoy your little midday sit down - v civilised!

Starshinetiger · 24/05/2012 13:03

Thanks Ses - to be fair, DD is now 3.2. One of my friends said earlier this year that her GP said not to worry about weight until the youngest was 3 - that was when I realised that she nearly was, so it was time to focus! Actually, it's just something personal for me - I feel better and healthier. I think people look beautiful all sizes, but for me it was about feeling better.

By the way in answer to your earlier question - we don't see consultant until 14 June, so hopefully will get (a positive) answer for DS then. By which time, you and Kayz will both surely have popped Grin

LBOT - keeping fingers crossed for you.

Quick post. On way home from hospital after my growth scan.
Baby weighs 7lb 3oz now. Everyone is happy for homebirth to go ahead. They've said she's long rather than big.

lastboxoftampons · 25/05/2012 15:21

Excellent news Kayz! Well done :)

Ses due for AF tomorrow at 11 dpo. But have just had the tiniest bit of spotting today. So while slightly bummed, I'm pleased I've held out this long without spotting. Hopefully my LP is lengthening. Plus I've just gotten my friend's old cbfm to use next cycle and who doesn't love a gadget!

Off to Brighton this evening. Anyone got fun weekend plans?:)

Gingerbreadlatte · 25/05/2012 15:43

LBOT- Im pretty sure that Diege had some luck lengthening her LP using a herbal remedy poss Agnus Castus...?? cant be sure

Diege- are you lurking?

Kayz- thats good news! I am so interested in the outcome for you ! Grin

BBisTitanium · 26/05/2012 14:51

Hey all not had time to read much with one thing and another, lbot i have agnus castus if u want to try it, just pm you address and i'll post it over?

Scan done, am 7w 5days which fits with pg tests so whilst it was a bit daunting when sonographer said i can only see a sac it was ok once we saw baby, strong heartbeat etc so hopefully all will be well! EDD now 7/1/13 but not telling MW, will just let them get on with things as so slow anyway!! So will prob next be scanned at 9/10 weeks, meaning another at 12-13, naughty i know but sod it why should i have any more worry!! Very relieved! Am wondering how EDD will differ on NHS machines and also wondering how the date will affect ELCS as cant see them electing to deliver me boxing day?!

Also been dealing with (as some of you may hve seen on bitchbook fb, a so called friend being v unpleasant and childish, i wouldnt mind but she is very immature and using others so I have cut all ties with her and anyone related directly to her where possible! Dont need the stress! It never rains eh?

Sorry this is very mememe!
Hope your all having the glorious weather we are its divine! Ses kayz and ginger hope you arent too uncomfy in the heat!
Star hope DS results back quickly, and wave to anyone ive missed!!

We have been to breakfast, the scan and shopping, and are now going back out to a soft play party... Id rather go to bed!! Blush Grin

McKayz · 26/05/2012 18:24

Woooooo!!!! That's great news BB so happy you've seen a heartbeat. I had a scan with this one and I was about 7w 5d and I finally realised why people call them beans Grin it just looked like a baked bean with a heartbeat.

BBisTitanium · 26/05/2012 18:28

Thanks kayz i did well up when sonographer said i can only see a sac, and was super relieved when the kiwi bean was located haha! Very miniscule, pics aren't too clear but has reassured me, shall just wait impatiently for the next scan now haha Grin

SESthebrave · 26/05/2012 18:58

Great news BB Grin

We've had a lovely relaxing day. We're lucky that our living room doesn't get the sun so I can escape there to stay cool. Only problem was DS insisting he wanted me outside to pretend that his climbing frame was a pirate boat that we were both sailing looking for treasure! I gave up at about 4pm and came inside.

Hope everyone else has had a good day. We're getting chinese tonight and just need to work out the schedule for the tv of Eurovision / football / The Voice!

Oh and - eek! - I'm 40 weeks tomorrow!!

BBisTitanium · 26/05/2012 19:12

Ses that sounds a lovely day! We have a similar one planned tomorrow Grin are you having any signs of baby coming?

SESthebrave · 26/05/2012 19:43

Nah! No signs at all - nothing, nada, zilch!

BBisTitanium · 26/05/2012 20:00

Get bouncing on a ball or trampoline Grin

McKayz · 26/05/2012 20:01

How annoying is it that The Voice/Football and Eurovision are all on. I am going for Eurovision with quick flicks to football.

I had a pizza takeaway tonight and now feel really full.

lastboxoftampons · 27/05/2012 07:58

Hey guys, just checking in. We're at FIL's in Brighton. Spent yesterday on his sailboat which DS loved! Perfect day for it!

BB so glad you got to see baby and heartbeat! And two more scans to look forward to! Thanks for the AC offer. I've got a bi g bottle at home myself, used it when TTC for DS and the again this time around but i'm not sure it does much for me. Think I've had more luck with B6.

Hope all of ou ladies are keeping cool and enjoying the sunshine! :)

SES hope this baby is coming soon!!

BBisTitanium · 27/05/2012 20:53

Thanks tink glad work was good Grin

McKayz · 28/05/2012 09:48

I have had the morning from hell. There are roadworks in town and the stupid idiots have managed to hit a gas pipe and closed part of the road and put up those little traffic lights.

It is only a small town so of course it is in chaos. We have 1 set of normal traffic lights. We pressed the button and waited for the green man and set off. Some bloody woman drove through a red light and nearly hit DS1. I then swore very loudly like a fishwife at this woman. I probably would have hit her if I could. Cue BHs.

Carry on to school drop of DS1. Went to DS2's playschool and there are about 6 steps to the door where most of the children sit waiting for it to open. Well one kid was mucking about with the door and swung it shut and it hit DS2 and rolled down the stairs. Cue screaming and I out of instinct picked him up. Loads of kicks and movement from baby and now bump hurts like hell.

To top it all of some arsewipe bloke shouted "You look a bit hot love, lose some weight fatso" at me.

I am now going to bed to cry and cry. Sad

Starshinetiger · 28/05/2012 12:35

Poor you Kayz Sad!
It is so scary when people don't pay attention on the road. Hope you have managed to get a relaxing morning before picking DS2 up from school. Going back to bed sounds like the right idea. Bad luck comes in 3s though, so you had all 3 first thing, so just a lovely rest of the day to enjoy. Ignore that bloke - at 8 months pg, you are going to look pg, not fat - he is obviously not intelligent enough to tell the difference.
Hope you can relax in the sunshine this afternoon.
Star sneaks in a very in-wagon [hug]

BBisTitanium · 28/05/2012 13:14

kayz what a bloody awful morning!! AngryAngryAngry on your behalf!! Hope you can grab some rest, ohh im so Angry for you! I second star man clearly a knob! People just are aggravating!

I finally heard from MW today, im 11+1 by her dates, i did say PCO may have altered the dates bending truth somewhat she said not to worry will be scanned and then re-scanned as necessary, so thats nice Grin she seemed really nice aswell explaining that my doc hadnt explained why i needed to be seen sharpish which which was kind i thought, of course i was much more relaxed and ameniable than i reckon i would of been if i hadnt already been scanned Wink

She seemed to have time for me which was a nice feeling and even explained what the procedure would be surrounding ELCS/VBAC options.
She did break a piece of bad news though... I will have two GTT's as my GD Was classed as not well managed Envy something to look forward to.. Not!!

tink if you are there i saw your other thread about chat at work... I used to work for a supermarket and i was never chatty, i think the manager is being pious!

ses hope you are in labour!!

star when are DS result likely to come through?

LBOT sail boat sounds a fab way to spend a day!

ginger how are you feeling?
