Morning!!

Rugby hope today goes well. You're having a baby tomorrow!!! Grin exciting!!!!!

It's my first day of having to do the school run. Dreading it, I'm not sure my legs are up to a 2 mile round trip this morning. Let alone again this afternoon.

Hope you're all ok

Gingerbreadlatte · 14/05/2012 08:51

Morning

Good luck with the school run Kayz.. seems like a long walk..

Rugby- hooray for it nearly being the day! Hope all is well for you x

Kayz- yes it was me who made wipes. Just got a big sheet of coloured fleece and cut it into wipe sized pieces. Worked really well and they wash and dry super quick. I will do that again rather than cotton wool on a newborn :)

Moosy-I'm sorry for your loss, that must have been a big shock to you. Sad how are you feeling todaY?

Thanks for the comments re nappies. I have got tots bots originals with velcro. Think I probably need some size 1s now.

BB- 9wks! I had an idea you were around 6wks- no idea why Confused wow its exciting to miss the first awful few weeks when the scan etc is a million miles away :) what is your EDD? Did you say you were getting an early scan?

McKayz · 14/05/2012 10:30

I've just got home after doing school run and my hips feel like they're falling apart. I'm also getting pretty strong contractions. Hopefully they're just braxton hicks so I'm going to get in the bath and see if they stop.

OwwwwSad

Gingerbreadlatte · 14/05/2012 10:36

thats sounds painful Kayz. Do you have anyone who can help you out over the next few weeks?

McKayz · 14/05/2012 11:18

My brother can help out. He's getting them today for me. I think baby is too blooming big. My bump is so heavy now.

BBisTitanium · 14/05/2012 13:26

Sad for pain kayz

Grin for rugby nearly time!

Ginger yep 9 weeks EDD by LMP (so may change by scan cos of dodgy periods) is 16/12/12, if i get my ELCS, baby will be born first week dec by those dates. Hoping for early scan am gonna call mw office thurs if they havent called. Had been symptom worrying as felt sick then not... Back now! And so tired i could cry especially as DS who is normally a v good sleep woke At 5.45 Sad i shall collapse tonight!

Moosy · 14/05/2012 17:26

Ginger I made wipes too, I did the same with the fleece but sewed them on to pieces of old terry nappies so they were double sided. Terry side is good for getting rid of lumpy bits! Wink

Funeral is on wednesday and we're going up there tomorrow afternoon and staying over in a hotel. My parents are having DD1&2, we're taking #3 with us (eek!). Dreading it really but it'll be good to see her husband and I always think funerals are good for drawing a line iyswim?

Rugbylovingmum · 14/05/2012 19:01

Hi all,

I had my pre-op appointment today which means I spent most of the afternoon hanging around the ante natal unit waiting to speak to the anaesthetist and doctor. Finally got all the paperwork signed and picked up my pre-meds to take tonight - I go in to hospital tomorrow at 7.30am and unless there are loads of emergency sections to do I should have my section tomorrow morning at 9am or 11am. It still seems a bit unreal but this time tomorrow I will be a mum of 2 Shock and very Grin.

Kayz - ouch, ouch, ouch! I hope your brother can help out, all the aches are bloomin tiring.

Moosy - thinking of you for Wednesday.

McKayz · 14/05/2012 19:23

Rugby I am very excited for you!! I hope you have prepped DP to come and update us Grin

Moosy Will be thinking of you on wednesday.

Starshinetiger · 14/05/2012 22:31

So excited for you for tomorrow Rugby!!! Hope you've had a lovely evening. Look forward to news tomorrow.

Moosy - so sorry for your loss especially such a tragic way. Hope Wednesday goes as well as can be expected and it gives you the reality/closure to help with the grieving process.

Kayz - sorry for discomfort, hope it improves a bit if you get a chance to rest.

BB - lol at your extra test - hope you get appointments soon.

Wave at everyone else... Must get to bed.

SESthebrave · 15/05/2012 08:49

Thanks for the good luck messages! Erin Elizabeth arrived at 12.55 weighing 8lb 8oz. She is gorgeous with loads of dark hair. After a huge feed she is now sleeping happily - I hope that lasts Wink. I'm a bit tired but feeling much better than I did after the emergency section.

McKayz · 15/05/2012 16:12
