Moosy I also meant to comment about your friend. I'm so sorry Sad such a tragedy.

SESthebrave · 11/05/2012 15:56

I'm not sure there's much to choose between the Explorer and the Innotab tbh but I had a friend at work who had given the Explorer to his DS for his 3rd birthday and was raving about it and how it was encouraging him to learn his numbers and letters and start to copy letters.

Moosy - have some very un-MNetty (((((hugs)))))

LBOT - glad the flight was ok. FX that the right thing for DH comes through!

McKayz · 11/05/2012 16:04

Moosy that is so sad. Hopefully the funeral will bring some closure.

BBisTitanium · 11/05/2012 17:31

Moosy sorry i missed your post. Unfortunately i have far too much experience of death, and all i can say is that it does hit you, and never really when you expect. DP recently lost a childhood friend during a life critical liver transplant, He too felt waves of sadness. Is there anything you can do to help yourself? Maybe write down all your good memories? That may be a comfort to her family Sad

Rugby Sad for early starts that is not good, DS same re sleep and over tired, i he hasnt had enough sleep his sleep is disturbed although touch wood never earlier than half 6, thats bad enough! Hope you get a better night tonight!
A doing better with cast still not bounding around but seems more comfortable, cast 2-4 weeks ideally 4 but depends how much it has to be replaced

McKayz · 11/05/2012 19:43

Ses I might try sleeping on my right then. I've been mainly sleeping on my left as that's what they say you should do. But she's got her head in my left hip and bum under my ribs on my right. Might help her move a bit.

BBisTitanium · 12/05/2012 09:29

You know you're pregnant when the "sarah jane" BMW advert makes you cry....

McKayz · 12/05/2012 09:53

I don't know what that advert is. But I am not going to look for it so I don't cry too!! Grin

I've just walked to town and back. I feel like death now, everything aches especially my hips. Dreading the school runs, I think I might be spending a lot of time sat on benches in town if it is sunnyGrin

I am hoping the walking is going to help baby move though.

BBisTitanium · 12/05/2012 10:00

Ah kayz sounds like hard going! Hopefully will make dd move though! the Advert is mainly about brakes Hmm but its related to taking a baby home from Hospital, I welled up Blush

DS is up and doing a mix of crawling and hobbling on hos cast to get around so cute Grin

McKayz · 12/05/2012 10:05

Oh yeah that one! I probably ignore it due to not liking BMWs lol.

I forget to say about DS2!! I guess you will have seen it on FB but he is going to school!!!! I got a letter this morning saying he has a place at nursery in September. He is so grown up.

I might have to talk to headteacher though as there is a meeting on the 14th June, which I might not be at. Hopefully Xh will be able to go so someone is there.

BBisTitanium · 12/05/2012 10:22

Yes i saw eeek! The boys are growing so fast!

McKayz · 12/05/2012 10:25

All the first bunch of wagon babies will be starting school soon won't they?

BBisTitanium · 13/05/2012 07:09

Eek school sounds such a huge step, A wont go to school until 2014 cos of the oct birthday, it sounds really clingy but im glad Grin although who knows if I will say that at the time ha!

McKayz · 13/05/2012 07:42

DS2 is 4 in December. He's been at playschool since last September and he loves it there.

BBisTitanium · 13/05/2012 08:31

A has been in nursery since i returned to
Work in July '10, he will start the pre school element in Jan, He enjoys it but I couldn't of gone back to work any sooner. With DC2 being due in Dec, A will benefit, as from jan I will only send him for his free hours, rather than my working hours, until I have to go back to work. Feel incredibly ahead of myself to say that! Am 9 weeks today and still not believing its real! Grin

Rugbylovingmum · 13/05/2012 08:54

BB - that many bfps cannot be wrong Wink. I hope you get a scan date through soon, there's nothing like seeing the little hb to make it feel real is there.

Kayz - I can hardly believe DS2 is off to school soon. How old is DS1 now? I still picture them the same age they were last time I saw them. We really have to try to arrange a wagon meet up over the summer. It would be lovely to see you all again.

I have been feeling rotten this weekend, just very stiff and sore which makes it hard to sleep but it has been fantastic for taking away any nerves about Tuesday Wink. I'm just very excited about finally holding this baby and then getting back to myself. I've been such a moan recently Blush, I don't know how poor DP has put up with me! I hate all the aches and being so tired and struggling to keep up with DD - DC2 is worth it but I'm looking forward to recovering from the section and starting to feel healthy again. Just 48 hours to go GrinGrinGrin.

McKayz · 13/05/2012 09:08

Rugby DS1 was 5 in March. They are proper grown up boys now. It's a bit scary thinking that DS1 is learning to read and write.
Not long to go for you!!! Super exciting. Grin

BBisTitanium · 13/05/2012 09:31

Eek rugby how exciting! Yes BFPs cant be faked or forced i would of ages ago if i could but scan will be welcome reassurance thats for sure! DP has been so patient with my fears bless him, its them who bare the brunt for sure! Hope you can get comfy and get some rest!

kayz not long for you either really, are you getting excited?

ses if you are reading hope baby has moved, when do you next see someone?

Hi to anyone lurking! Grin

McKayz · 13/05/2012 09:34

BB impatient is probably the word I would use. I am excited but I am getting annoyed with being pregnant now.

BBisTitanium · 13/05/2012 09:51

Ahh kayz i can imagine, it must be knackering with two boys and a dog to take care of espesh when DH is away!

McKayz · 13/05/2012 10:34

I can not wait to have this baby. It'll be so much easier when she's here.

Grin BB!!

BBisTitanium · 13/05/2012 22:25

I couldnt help myself... It alleviates fretting for a bit Wink
