Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
McKayz · 06/05/2012 10:24

Mine was too!! I think I posted here before telling DH. He was out shopping with his friend and asked if I wanted anything so I told him we needed a cot! Grin

BBisTitanium · 06/05/2012 10:30

Hehe! Dp has talked a bit now, his first question was can be still but a tablet computer thing with his bonus haha! I said yes obviously there will be may leave to fill as he deserves a treat! We will need a new cot (I broke it Blush) a crib and a travel system but that's about it other than clothes but Dp doesn't want to find out so won't do that before hand, it feels surreal to be thinking of it! Grin

Moosy · 06/05/2012 12:41

Congratulations BB! As Star said, a BFN earlier on is quite understandable if you have long cycles. Also don't be surprised if when you have a scan they date you a couple of weeks less than you expect - long cycles normally mean later ov so your lmp would be more than the standard 2 weeks before you ov'd if that makes sense? But that doesn't matter now, just revel in the BFP!! :o

lastboxoftampons · 06/05/2012 14:26

BB!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! SO happy for you! Think all that positive willpower paid off! You've got this little one obeying mummy's orders already - you said implant egg and it did! Grin

I agree with Moosy - in fact I would tell your GP that your not sure of your dates so they send you for an early scan GrinWink

So the wagon hasn't lost its magic - Ok, please can I be next then Smile

And I'm Grin about you thinking HONK while you were poas!

SESthebrave · 06/05/2012 21:38

BB - hope you're still grinning Grin Grin Grin

LBOT - oh yes, the wagon luck must rub off on you :)

I'm feeling quite short tempered this evening. Probably being a bit unreasonable so venting here instead of at DH! (Feel free to disregard the next paragraph!)
DH was great earlier today. My parents, DB & DSil came over this afternoon and DH went with DS to shops this morning to buy food and the did roast for us all. Since then though he's fallen asleep after 6 pints until after I had DS in bed asleep and now I've put BGT on has miraculously woken up. He keeps making this really annoying purring noise. He says he can't help it as he's got a cough and a sore throat but it's so annoying!!!
Apparently he's having a lie in tomorrow morning too!

Anyway, enough ranting!
Has anyone got any good plans for tomorrow? My 2 cousins are popping over tomorrow morning and then in the afternoon DS and I are going over to mum's to use her Kenwood chef to make DS's birthday cake!

BBisTitanium · 06/05/2012 23:20

Thanks all I'm am def still Grin quite unbelievable really! DP has decided as A was mango this one is Kiwi, it's all going so fast! I really only did a test on the off chance! I am trying to remain quite normal but I'm switching from super excited to a but apprehensive! Realised tomorrow is a bank hol so will call docs tue and arrange an earlier appointment will be easier then as with DPs family tonight! Dp really doesn't want me to tell anyone so my excitement will be wagon based for a while! I think I'm probably between 6-8 weeks based on GOF's, so will tell doc my dates but explain about long periods incase of blood tests not seeming right etc!

If I'm truly honest I'm just do glad my innards do still work! Thanks for all your congrats, off to bed now as a stinking headache ha taken hold! X

BBisTitanium · 06/05/2012 23:21

Sorry very meme! Ses I would be majorly puddles off with that behaviour as u need the help being so far gone!
And LBOT fingers x'd for you too!

Gingerbreadlatte · 07/05/2012 21:48

Congratulations BB!! Grin wooooohoooooo!!

So excited for you and yay to have a pregnancy buddy! How are you feeling -do you feel pregnant? Grin

Ses- I'd be annoyed, seems unfair to make you do all the bedtime stuff. Its hard enough at the best of times without a massive bump!

Tink- glad first day went well!

Hi Kayz Smile

Hi to all those lurkers to appear when we get a HONK!! Grin

BBisTitanium · 08/05/2012 07:21

Hi ginger! I feel a bit iffy for sure, have gone off food (very unlike me) and sorry for tmi but having quite loose poo which apparently is another way of hormone dumping?!
Feeling in disbelief really and just hoping and praying that this one is a keeper! Ringing docs today eek! Hoping I perk up too as we are Away at butlins at the mo!
Have told a few people as even if all went wrong id want them to know why we were sad IYKWIM?

Hope everyone is well, kayz hope DS's spots are going!

McKayz · 08/05/2012 07:21

Morning,

Ses I hope today goes well. Will be thinking of you xx

I slept all night!!! Wooooo!!! Grin

Gingerbreadlatte · 08/05/2012 07:28

Good luck Ses.. Hope things go ok and they don't keep you in.

Hooray for sleep Kayz

Bb- I had that 'bowel issue' all the way from 4 wks to 13wks. Odd because most people seem to report the opposite issue!
Sorry TMi for breakfasters! Good luck with docs call.

Rugbylovingmum · 08/05/2012 07:32

Morning Ses, I hope the baby is in a better position today. Good luck! How is the eye infection?

Morning Kayz, ginger, BB and lurkers .

Starshinetiger · 08/05/2012 08:04

Thinking of you today Ses - hope things go your way.
Must dash - school run beckons Smile

SESthebrave · 08/05/2012 09:13

Morning lovely ladies - thank you for thinking of me. Appointment not til 3.45pm so plenty of time to pack, speculate, worry , etc before then!
Eyes are much better than they were thank you but still a bit sticky so keeping on with AB drops.

Had a really bizarre dream last night. Dreamt that in my current state of being 37wks pg with DC2, that I was also pg with DC3 due in October!! I was really worried about how I was going to tell my mum and work!
I actually don't think there will be an attempt at DC3 now. Risk of mc and a badly positioned baby is just too high with me, nevermind the fact I have age against me :(

DH did redeem himself a bit yesterday - he got up with DS and did bath/bedtime. DS and I went over to mum's yesterday afternoon and used her Kenwood Chef to make him 2 chocolate birthday cakes and some little fairy cakes.

Kayz - yay for a good sleep. It makes all the difference!

BB - yay for feeling a bit iffy and for your holiday :)

Hello everyone else and thanks again for the good wishes. Will update you when I can.

lastboxoftampons · 08/05/2012 13:42

Good luck Ses! Thinking of you!

BBisTitanium · 08/05/2012 14:22

Good luck ses!

Ginger glad its not so unusual! Sadistic as it sounds I'd rather feel tough than not haha! Docs all sorted a week today! Altho it's with dr mega bitch!!lol!

Holiday not too good Sad weather dry at least but the food here (which we stupidly have paid for to be included) is passable at best, and poor A had fallen and pulled something so isn't walking and is in genuine pain! We are going to give it another night and if tomorrow is pants we will head home Thursday!

Hi to everyone else and yay to sleep kayz!

Gingerbreadlatte · 08/05/2012 15:16

Good luck Ses for 30mins time!

It's weird isnt it BB, not something I had last time. Actually felt like a bug at times. Bit more settled now at nearly 15wks.
Sorry holiday isnt great and sorry DS hurt himself :( hope the sun comes out for you!

Hi everyone else

SESthebrave · 08/05/2012 16:13

Wow!!!! Consultant was happy that head was central and down almost engaged! Might end up with my VBAC now!
Will update a bit more later

Grin for bb fab news WinkWinkWinkWinkGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
And great news sesWinkWinkWink bet u r relieved
Had 2nd job induction this eveningGrin

SESthebrave · 08/05/2012 21:06

Not really much more to update tbh but quick post earlier.

Saw consultant himself rather than registrar. He didn't bother with an actual scan, just felt position and concluded head down centrally, 3/5 engaged. He doesn't want to see me again as I have a MW appointment at 39 +2 and just said to come back in when I go into labour!

I am so pleased and relieved!!!

Now all I have to do is get my head round what it is like to go into labour and give birth naturally!!

tink - hope your induction is going well :)

BB - hope holiday improves

Rugbylovingmum · 08/05/2012 22:45

Great news Ses Grin.

Tink - how was second induction?

This time next week I'll have had my c-section Grin. How exciting (and also a bit scary!)

BBisTitanium · 09/05/2012 06:43

Thanks tink Grin hope your job is going well!

Ses Yay!! That's a fab result! Labour was really fun for me altho I'm a bit odd Blush and in the minority!

Rugby mega eeeek! Wooo baby o'clock! Are u excited?

We are giving up with this "holiday" no one is happy so we are heading home today, an I couldn't be happier!! What a killjoy I suppose but poor A is still uncomfortable it's impossible to sleep well and the foo is quite dire. Add to that feeling sick Grin an having diarrhoea and I think we will enjoy the time more at home!

MIL coming over tonight to take us all for tea to cheer us up and we are gonna tell her baby news, she will be happy Grin

Re baby, I'm panicking myself that the diarrhoea I'm experiencing is some how related to all the stuff I was eating before I knew?! That's unlikely isn't it?
I inadvertantly broke a rule yest as I had a hot dog, didn't know they weren't allowed! It's all such a worry!
